本発明は、送電線の地中化工事などの目的で地中に設けられる溝のマンホール用蓋に関し、特にそのマンホール用蓋のロック機構に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
近年、街の景観向上、電柱を減らすことによる歩道の安全確保等を目的とした送電線の地中化工事が実施されるようになってきている。通常、送電線の地中化は、地中に設けられた溝の内部に配線することで実施される。このとき、溝の開口部は配線作業後に塞がれることになるが、工事終了後も維持補修のための溝内部への人の出入りが必要となる。そこで、溝の開口部にはマンホールが設けられ、このマンホールの開口が蓋により塞がれることになる。そして、このマンホール用蓋は、自身が溝内部に落下しないようにその周縁部がマンホールの開口周縁部に係合するように設置されるとともに、その裏面には開口から外れないためのロック機構が設けられる。なお、ロック機構は、何らかの理由により発生した溝内部での爆発により蓋が吹き飛んで周囲の人や物へ被害を与えることを防止するためのもである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
