BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a printing apparatus that wraps a master that has been subjected to plate making around an outer periphery of a plate cylinder, and causes ink supplied into the plate cylinder to ooze out from the master and transfer it onto transfer paper.
[0002]
[Prior art]
This type of printing apparatus includes a plate cylinder provided on the outer periphery with a screen that allows ink to ooze out from the peripheral surface, and a pressing member such as a press roller that contacts and separates from the plate cylinder. In such a printing apparatus, a master on which an image is formed by punching is wound around the outer periphery of the plate cylinder, and then the plate cylinder is rotated, and the transfer paper is pressed against the plate cylinder at a predetermined timing in synchronization with the rotational movement of the plate cylinder. The printed material is transported between the members, the transfer paper is pressed against the master on the plate cylinder by the pressing member, and the ink supplied into the plate cylinder is oozed out from the perforations of the screen and the master and transferred to the transfer paper. To get.
[0003]
In this case, in the plate making apparatus, a master roll wound in a roll shape is drawn out to make a plate and cut into a predetermined length. The master roll is end-detected by a master roll sensor, and when an end detection signal is output, a new master roll is set.
[0004]
The ink supply device detects the amount of ink in the plate cylinder with an ink sensor, and supplies the ink in the ink container to the plate cylinder with an ink pump when the detection signal is output. A new ink container is set when the ink empty sensor outputs a detection signal.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, since the remaining amount of ink, master roll, and other supplies is not known until they are used, it is difficult for a user or a supply service person to predict the replenishment time. In addition, since the number of copies to be printed by one master also varies depending on the user, it is difficult to determine whether the supply wear tendency is in ink or in the master roll.
[0006]
Excessive stocking of supplies so that the supplies set in the printing apparatus can be replenished at any time goes against space saving, and in some cases, causes deterioration in quality. For this reason, service personnel are required to appropriately grasp the status of the supply in use and deliver the optimal amount of supply at the optimal time.
[0007]
An object of the present invention is to provide a printing apparatus capable of appropriately grasping a usage state of a supply and appropriately performing service for a user.
[0008]
The objective of this invention is providing the printing apparatus which can grasp | ascertain the tendency whether the supply used in large quantities is an ink or a master roll at any time.

In step S6-3, when it is recognized that three months have passed since the watch counter area was cleared (Y in S6-3), the value A of the master roll end counter area, that is, the number of outputs of the master roll end signal Is determined to be equal to or greater than 10 (Y in S6-12), or the value B of the ink empty counter is determined to be equal to or greater than 40 (S6-13), the process proceeds to step S6-14.
