Description

The present invention relates to a CATV amplifier, and more particularly to a CATV amplifier configured by housing an amplifier and a power supply in a chassis (housing).

“CATV” (Community Antenna TV) is a service that distributes television broadcasts received at a center to a home or the like through a communication cable. CATV, which was originally started as a countermeasure for difficult viewing, is now used for various services such as multi-channel program services, Internet services, game data distribution services, karaoke, home security, and CATV telephones. It has come to be.

The CATV amplifier is a device installed in a CATV contractor's house (a common reception facility such as a building or a condominium or a general house). Also called CATV booster. The CATV amplifier accommodates an amplification unit that amplifies a CATV signal and a power supply unit that provides operation power for the amplification unit in a metal casing (chassis). In order to suppress the influence of noise from the part or the like, it is covered with a shielding plate (shield plate).

By the way, as described above, the current CATV has been used not only for television broadcasting but also for the Internet, telephone or other communications, so simply by covering the amplification part with a shield plate, It has become impossible to completely suppress the influence of noise from various signal sources.

Therefore, a CATV amplifier as described in Patent Document 1 is known. This CATV amplifier has a casing provided with a main body part integrally formed with an aluminum alloy, the interior of which is divided into two chambers, and a lid for closing the main body part. One of the two chambers is an amplifying unit substrate storage chamber, and the other of the two chambers is a power supply substrate storage chamber. These two chambers are partitioned by an aluminum alloy wall, and the influence of noise can be suppressed by electromagnetically shielding between the amplification section and the power supply section.

However, the conventional CATV amplifier has a configuration in which the amplification unit and the power supply unit are accommodated in each of the two chambers partitioned by the aluminum alloy wall. There is a problem that heat tends to be trapped inside the casing, and the components of the amplifier and the power supply unit may deteriorate or the characteristics of the components may change due to the influence of the heat.

In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to make the housing capable of efficiently dissipating the internal heat to the outside while avoiding the influence of noise with the integrally molded housing, and causing deterioration of the components and changes in the characteristics of the components. An object of the present invention is to provide an amplifier for CATV that is not provided.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, a heat radiation part is formed on the rear surface of a chassis having an amplification part accommodation room and a power supply part accommodation room that are electromagnetically shielded from each other, and these accommodation room and heat radiation part are integrally molded . In the amplifier, the heat radiating portion includes a plurality of fins extending from one side of the chassis to the other side facing the one side and uniformly arranged over the entire back surface of the chassis. The CATV amplifier is characterized in that fixing portions are integrally formed at both ends of a part of the plurality of fins, and a plurality of recesses are formed in each fin at a predetermined arrangement pitch .

According to the present invention, it is possible to avoid the influence of noise with an integrally molded case and to make the case capable of efficiently dissipating internal heat to the outside so as not to cause deterioration of components or changes in characteristics of components. The CATV amplifier can be provided .

Obviously, the idea of the invention is not limited. In addition, a well-known technique, a well-known procedure, a well-known architecture, a well-known circuit configuration, and the like (hereinafter, “well-known matter”) are not described in detail, but this is also to simplify the description. Not all or part of the matter is intentionally excluded. Such well-known matters are known to those skilled in the art at the time of filing of the present invention, and are naturally included in the following description.

FIG. 1 is an external view of a CATV amplifier according to an embodiment. In this figure, the CATV amplifier 1 is constituted by a chassis (housing) 2 integrally molded of aluminum alloy or the like, and a metal case 3 covering the upper surface and four side surfaces of the chassis 2. The chassis 2 and the case 3 are fixed by, for example, a plurality (four in the figure) of screws 4 to 7 (the screws on the left side are hidden and cannot be seen) on each of the left and right side surfaces. The two holes 8 and 9 formed on the upper surface of the case 3 are an adjustment hole for a signal level adjustment element provided on the amplification unit substrate, a confirmation hole for a power indicator lamp provided on the power supply substrate, and the like. is there. In addition, a large number of linear air holes 10 for ventilation are formed in one side surface (side surface in the lower left direction in the drawing) of the case 3.

FIG. 2 is an external view of the chassis 2. As described above, the chassis 2 is integrally formed of an aluminum alloy or the like, and the structure thereof is as follows. That is, a rectangular bottom plate 12 in which a large number of fins 11 (heat dissipating parts) are arranged at equal intervals on the lower surface, a first standing wall 13 standing on one side of the bottom plate 12, and the first standing wall 13. In addition, the second and third standing walls 14 and 15 erected on a part (approximately 2/3 in the figure) of two sides intersecting the one side of the bottom plate 12, and the second and third A fourth standing wall 16 standing on the surface of the bottom plate 12 is formed integrally with the standing walls 14 and 15.

A plurality of fins 11 formed on the lower surface of the bottom plate 12 are provided with two fixing portions 17 and 18 for fixing the chassis 2 to a wall surface of a CATV contractor's house (the fixing portion 18 is a figure). 4) is formed. Further, the outer two fins 11 and the second standing wall 14 and the third standing wall 15 are provided with screw holes for fixing the case 3 (screw holes 19 to 25 corresponding to the screws 4 to 7 described above, but one of them. The part is hidden and cannot be seen).

The space surrounded by the four standing walls (the first standing wall 13 to the fourth standing wall 16) is an amplifying unit substrate accommodating chamber (hereinafter referred to as an amplifying unit accommodating chamber) 26, and the amplifying unit accommodating chamber 26 includes: Substrate fixing portions 27 to 30 and signal plug attachment holes 31 to 41 are provided.

On the other hand, a portion other than the amplification unit accommodation chamber 26 of the bottom plate 12 is a power supply substrate accommodation chamber (hereinafter referred to as a power supply unit accommodation chamber) 42, and the power supply unit accommodation chamber 42 includes substrate fixing units 43 to 46 and power supplies. A U-shaped groove-like protrusion 47 for preventing the cable from being removed is provided.

Further, in the fourth standing wall 16 that partitions between the power source accommodating chamber 42 and the amplifier accommodating chamber 26, several holes 48 to 51 for power supply (four for convenience) are formed. For example, through capacitors are attached to these holes 48 to 51, and a power supply voltage from which noise has been removed can be supplied to the amplifying unit substrate in the amplifying unit accommodation chamber 26 through the through capacitors.

FIG. 3 is a rear view of the chassis 2. As described above, on the rear surface of the chassis 2, a large number of fins 11 are arranged uniformly and equally over the entire rear surface of the chassis 2, and the chassis 2 is attached to the CATV on a part of these fins 11. Two fixing portions 17 and 18 for fixing to the wall surface of the contractor's house are formed.

Each fin 11 is a plate-like member integrally provided on the back surface of the chassis 2 at a predetermined arrangement pitch Pa. The plate-like member is a chassis in which one fixing portion 17 is formed as shown in the figure. 2 extends continuously from one side to the opposite side of the chassis 2 on which the other fixing portion 18 is formed.

Each fin 11 is formed with a plurality of concave portions 11a at a predetermined arrangement pitch Pb. The shape of the concave portions 11a may be, for example, a curved surface as shown in the figure, or other shapes. Also good.

According to the CATV amplifier 1 having such a configuration, the following effects can be obtained.
(1) Covering the chassis 2 formed integrally with the amplification unit accommodation chamber 26 and the power supply unit accommodation chamber 42 by covering the case 3 with the two chambers (the amplification unit accommodation chamber 26 and the power supply unit accommodation chamber 42). ), Each chamber can be closed individually while electromagnetically shielding between them. Therefore, it is possible to prevent noise from jumping from the power supply unit accommodation chamber 42 into the amplification unit accommodation chamber 26 and noise from the outside to the amplification unit accommodation chamber 26, and also from the power supply unit accommodation chamber 42 and the amplification unit accommodation chamber 26. Unnecessary electromagnetic radiation from the outside to the outside can be prevented.

(2) In addition, a power supply voltage in which a feedthrough capacitor is attached to holes 48 to 51 formed in the fourth standing wall 16 that partitions the two chambers (the amplification unit accommodation chamber 26 and the power supply unit accommodation chamber 42), and noise is removed through the feedthrough capacitor. Is supplied to the amplifying unit substrate in the amplifying unit accommodating chamber 26, so that noise can be prevented from entering the amplifying unit accommodating chamber 26 via the power supply line.

(3) In addition, since the fins 11 are integrally formed on the back surface of the chassis 2, the heat inside the amplifying unit accommodating chamber 26 and the power source accommodating chamber 42 can be radiated naturally.

FIG. 4 is a conceptual diagram of natural heat dissipation in the present embodiment. (A) is a state figure when the fixing | fixed part 17 and 18 of the chassis 2 is attached to a wall surface etc. with the up-down direction. In this attached state, the extending direction of the fins 11 is up and down, and warm air flows from the bottom to the top, so that a natural air flow path 52 passing between the fins 11 is created. Therefore, the heat inside the amplification unit accommodation chamber 26 and the power supply unit accommodation chamber 42 is transmitted from the bottom plate 12 of the chassis 2 to the fins 11 and is radiated to the outside via the fresh air passing through the natural air flow path 52. Is done.

On the other hand, (b) is a state diagram when the fixing portions 17 and 18 of the chassis 2 are attached to the wall surface in the left-right direction. In this attached state, since the extending direction of the fins 11 is lateral, it becomes an obstacle to warm air flowing from the bottom to the top. In the present embodiment, the concave portions 11a having a predetermined arrangement pitch Pb are provided in each fin 11. Since it forms, the natural air flow path 53 which passes between those recessed parts 11a is made. Accordingly, even in this attached state, the heat inside the amplification unit accommodation chamber 26 and the power supply unit accommodation chamber 42 is transmitted from the bottom plate 12 of the chassis 2 to the fins 11 and naturally passes through the recesses 11 a of the fins 11. Heat is radiated to the outside through the fresh air in the air flow path 53.

As described above, in this embodiment, the chassis 2 (housing) that can efficiently dissipate internal heat to the outside while avoiding the influence of noise with the integrally molded chassis 2 (housing). As a result, it is possible to provide the CATV amplifier 1 that does not cause deterioration of the components of the amplifying unit and the power supply unit and changes in the characteristics of the components.

In addition, this invention is not limited to the above embodiment, Of course, various development examples and modifications are included within the scope of the idea, and for example, it may be as follows.

FIG. 5 is a diagram showing another heat dissipation structure. As shown in FIG. 5A, a large number of prisms 55 having a trapezoidal cross section are arranged on the back surface of the bottom plate 12 of the chassis 2 at predetermined vertical and horizontal intervals. Alternatively, as shown in (b), a cylindrical body 56 may be used. The prismatic body 55 and the cylindrical body 56 are heat dissipating portions similar to the fins 11 of the above-described embodiment, and are constituent elements that replace the fins 11. Regardless of which of the prismatic body 55 and the cylindrical body 56 is used, the natural air flow path for heat dissipation (see the natural air flow paths 52 and 53 in FIG. 4) regardless of the mounting direction of the CATV amplifier to the wall surface or the like. Therefore, the heat inside the chassis 2 can be efficiently released to the outside, and the deterioration of the components of the amplifying unit and the power supply unit and the change of the characteristics of the components can be prevented.

Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the fins 11 of the present embodiment are uniformly formed on the entire back surface of the chassis 2, so that the weight distribution of the chassis 2 can be made uniform to achieve a weight balance. Can also be obtained.

FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an example of the CATV amplifier 57 having a poor weight balance. The CATV amplifier 57 has a chassis 58 integrally formed of aluminum alloy or the like, and an amplification unit substrate 59 is mounted inside the chassis 58. A large number of fins 60 similar to those of the present embodiment are integrally formed on the rear surface of the chassis 58 (attachment surface to a wall surface or the like; the upper surface in the illustrated state). However, as in the present embodiment, the entire rear surface of the chassis 58 is formed. The fin defect portion A is partly formed, and the power supply unit 61 is incorporated in the fin defect portion A.

In such a structure, the weight of the chassis 58 in the left-right direction in the drawing becomes heavy on the right side and light on the left side in the drawing due to the presence of the fin missing portion A. If the weight difference is W for convenience, the weight difference of the power supply unit 61 is set to be equivalent to W, so that the weight difference W can be canceled and the weight balance in the horizontal direction of the CATV amplifier 57 can be achieved. However, since the weight of the power supply unit 61 is determined by the internal structure of the power supply unit 61, it is not possible to conveniently make the weight difference W equivalent. In addition, it is not considered that the power supply unit 61 is designed in accordance with the above-described weight difference W, but this is not preferable because the degree of freedom in design is hindered.

On the other hand, if the fins 11 are uniformly formed on the entire back surface of the chassis 2 as in the present embodiment (see FIG. 3), the weight distribution of the chassis 2 can be made uniform to avoid such inconvenience. it can. This is because the fin defect portion A does not exist.
