次いで、収納筐体2の形状の問題について説明すると、従来では図7に示した収納筐体52は壁面部と底面部とが絞り加工により一体に形成されていたので、壁面部と底面部とのコーナーのR形状(曲率半径)が大きくなり、その分、収納スペースが狭くなるという問題があった。また、絞り加工のため、物品収納部51の空間形状は自ずとほぼ逆円錐台形に限られることになり、スペアタイヤよりも大きい角型形状の物品には対応しづらいという問題がある。これに対して、図2に示すように、底面部2aと壁面部2bとを別体の部材から構成すれば、両者の端部周りを略直交させるかたちで接続することができるので、R形状が存しない分、壁面部2bと底面部2aとのコーナースペースが広くなり、物品収納部1全体の収納スペースが広くなる。また、物品収納部1の空間形状を扁平の略直方体形状に形成できるので、スペアタイヤよりも大きい角型形状の物品も収納できるようになる。   Next, the problem of the shape of the storage housing 2 will be described. 前記収納筐体の壁面部を、前記クロスメンバまたはリアサイドフレームの側部に溶接により接合し、
車両前方寄りの壁面部と底面部とを別体の部材から構成して、車両前方寄りの壁面部の下縁を車両後方に折り曲げて底面部の前縁に接合させ、
