BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cockroach attractant containing a specific kind of furanone derivative. Since this cockroach attractant can collect cockroaches in a specific place, it can be used to monitor the occurrence of cockroaches. It is also possible to control cockroaches when used in combination with insecticides.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, maltol, ethyl maltol (JP-A 52-38024), alcohols in plant extracts, aldehydes and lactones (JP-A 52-82729), maple, birch, yeast extract, Carmela (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 52-82728) is known to attract cockroaches. However, these are low in activity and require a high concentration for effective use.
[0003]
In addition, since it was reported that furanone derivatives have an attracting action on cockroaches (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 50-49434), furanone derivatives and cyclopentenone derivatives with strong attraction were successively synthesized (special features). No. 56-133201; Japanese Patent Publication No. 7-21845; Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-101513). Although these ingredients have a certain degree of attractiveness, there are some problems in practical use that are lacking in sustainability and stability.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made based on such a background, and the object of the present invention is to provide a cockroach attractant that attracts cockroaches strongly and has a long-lasting and stable effect. is there.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventor screened attractants for various furanone derivatives and cyclopentenone derivatives in order to find a substance having a high attracting effect on cockroaches. As a result, we found three kinds of attractive attractants. These have a high attractive effect, are liquid, can be enclosed in a sustained-release device, and are highly stable. The present invention has been made based on such knowledge.
[0006]
That is, the present invention relates to 2-ethyl-5-methyl-4-hydroxy-3 (2H) -furanone, 2-methyltetrahydrofuran-3-one, and 4,5-dimethyl-3-hydroxy-2 (5H ) -Dihydrofuranone is a cockroach attractant containing at least one selected from the group consisting of dihydrofuranones as an active ingredient.
[0007]
The present invention also provides 2-ethyl-5-methyl-4-hydroxy-3 (2H) -furanone, 2-methyltetrahydrofuran-3-one, and 4,5-dimethyl-3-hydroxy-2 (5H ) -Dihydrofuranone is a cockroach control agent characterized by containing at least one selected from the group consisting of dihydrofuranone and an insecticidal component.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
The cockroach attractant of the present invention comprises 2-ethyl-5-methyl-4-hydroxy-3 (2H) -furanone, 2-methyltetrahydrofuran-3-one, and 4,5-dimethyl-3-hydroxy-2. It contains at least one selected from the group consisting of (5H) -dihydrofuranone as an active ingredient.
[0009]
The cockroach attractant of the present invention dissolves the above-mentioned furanone derivative in an appropriate solvent such as water, acetone, methanol, ethanol, glycerin, propylene glycol, etc., and the solution is used in an appropriate carrier such as paper, cloth, It can be used by being held in a nonwoven fabric or the like. At this time, the amount of the furanone derivative as an active ingredient is not particularly limited, but is suitably about 1 to 100 mg per carrier. In addition, the carrier for holding the attractant can be wrapped in a plastic film to add sustained release. Furthermore, an attracting adhesive sheet, an attracting bait agent, etc. can be manufactured by making it contain in an adhesive or resin, using it with an insecticide, or mix | blending in a bait agent.
[0010]
Common insecticides include organophosphorus insecticides (dichlorvos, fenitrothion, diazinon), carbamate insecticides (Sevin, propoxer), pyrethroid insecticides (permethrin, resmethrin, phenothrin), and their isomers The body is mentioned. In addition to the above, known drugs such as hydrazone insecticides, oxadiazole insecticides, insect juvenile hormone agents, and boric acid can be selected and used depending on the purpose.
[0011]
The attractant of the present invention can be applied to cockroaches without being limited by type, growth stage, male or female. Also, using emulsifiers, dispersants, penetrants, suspension agents, wetting agents, spreading agents, excipients, stabilizers, etc., oils, wettable powders, powders, granules, pills, tablets, aerosols It is also possible to produce attractants such as heat transpiration agents and smoke agents.
[0012]
【Example】
The present invention will be specifically described below with reference to examples. However, the present invention is not limited to this example.
[Example 1]
(1) Test method As shown in Fig. 1, a shelter was formed on one side of a plastic cage (100 x 100 x 30 cm), and 120 cockroaches (30 heads repeated 4 times) were released and calmed down. Then, an adhesive paper (Trap A) equipped with the attractant of the present invention (5 mg / device, two kinds of mixture were mixed at 2.5 mg each) was placed on the opposite side of the shelter. As a control, an adhesive paper without an attractant or a commercially available adhesive paper trap was placed (trap B). Cockroaches on both traps captured after 1 hour were counted. Since the upper part of the cage is open, oil was applied to the inner wall so that the insects could not escape.
(2) Test results [0013]
[Table 1]
[0014]
[Example 2]
The test method was the same as in Example 1, except that the attractant was allowed to stand for 1 month after preparation.
[0015]
[Table 2]
[0016]
Example 3
Attach the attractant of the present invention (each 2.5mg / device) to the mixture obtained by adding 5% fenitrothion microcapsule (commercial product) to an equal mixture of rice bran (2g) and corn flour (2g) Bait preparation. The bait agent was placed in the center of a cage (FIG. 1) where 40 German cockroaches were released, and dead insects were counted after one week. As a control, fenitrothion microcapsule preparation alone or no test agent was tested in the same manner, and the number of dead insects was compared.
[0017]
[Table 3]
[0018]
Example 4
In restaurants where the occurrence of German cockroaches is predicted, adhesive traps with one kind of attractant (10 mg / device) of the present invention are placed on the floor, and the following day was investigated. As a result, many German cockroaches were captured in all traps. It was done.
[0019]
[Table 4]
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention provides a novel cockroach attractant. This cockroach attractant strongly attracts cockroaches, has high durability and stability, and exhibits superior properties compared to existing cockroach attractants.
