自動車の開口周縁に設けられたフランジに取付けられる断面略Ｕ字状の取付基部を有するウェザーストリップであって、
前記フランジの一方の側面に相対向する前記取付基部の側壁部の内側面に、前記フランジに接着される両面テープがその表面に離型紙が付着された状態で貼着されるともに、
前記両面テープが貼着された側の前記取付基部の側壁部の端部内側面には、前記両面テープの突出よりも内側に大きく突出し、前記取付基部の側壁部から剥離可能にしたビードが形成されてなり、
前記ビードの突出の量は、前記取付基部を前記フランジに差し込んで取付けられる際に、前記フランジの先端が前記両面テープに付着された離型紙に当接することを防止する程の大きさであり、前記取付基部が前記フランジに取付けられる際に、前記離型紙と前記ビードは剥がされることを特徴とするウェザーストリップ。 A weatherstrip having a mounting base portion having a substantially U-shaped cross section that is attached to a flange provided at the periphery of an opening of an automobile,
