【従来の技術】
従来技術における端子カバーの取り付け構造は、基台の上部長手方向に溝を形成し、カバーを溝に嵌入して取り付け、カバーの脱着によって開閉していた。また、図4に示すように、基台31の上端部に挿通孔32を設け、カバー33には回転軸34を形成し、挿通孔32に回転軸34を嵌入しカバー33が回動可能であるように取り付けていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来技術において、溝にカバーを嵌め込む端子カバーの取り付け構造のものは、カバーを開けるときには基台からカバーが離れてしまうため、カバーを紛失する虞があった。また、回転軸34を挿通孔32に挿通する形式のものでは、カバー33を基台31に取り付けるのが困難であると共に、カバー33は回動可能であるが、回転規制がないのでカバーを開放したときに他の機器に当たり、開閉作業が煩わしいものとなっていた。それから、基台31に挿通孔32を設ける、その金型は、外形を形作る第一、第二の金型と、挿通孔32を形成するための第三の金型が必要であり、金型費用を引き上げ、製造コストも高くなっていた。

そこで本発明は、簡単な構造で安価に提供でき、端子カバーが容易に基台に取り付けられる端子カバーの取り付け構造を提供することを目的とし、その構造は、端子台の基台側面端部に一定間隔で略U字状の溝部を突設すると共に、溝部に内側に向かい合わせに爪部を設け、カバーに設けられた回転軸を溝部に挿入し、カバーが回動可能に取り付けることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明に係る端子カバー取り付け構造は、端子台の側面上端部に内側に互いに向き合うような爪部を設けたU字状の溝部を形成し、カバーに設けられた回転軸を溝部に挿通し、カバーが回動可能であるように基台に取り付ける。回転軸を溝部に挿通するときには、爪部に沿ってカバーが移動する。また、カバーを基台に取り付け、開閉するときには爪部によって開閉角度を規制し、近傍の機器に当たらないように中立の位置で保持される。

また、溝部間の基台側面に軸受け部を設け、溝部に回転軸を挿入するときに、軸受け部が回転軸の動作を助け、円滑にカバーを回転させる。
