Description
可視光は、紫色で約400nm、青で約486nm、緑で約527nm、黄色で約589nm、赤色で約687nmの波長の範囲にある。これらの波長が、図1に示す例のような構造色を形成するために意図される構造の幾何的次元を決める。図1の下部において、観察者の目では、光の反射された一部が色として認識される。このことは、互いの格子の距離がカラー効果に影響を与えることを意味する。反射されない光は格子構造の下に吸収され、視認されない。従って、図1に示される格子構造ステップは、異なる波長を伴った光が様々な格子の間隔に起因して反射するため、光彩を放つカラーの回折格子に影響を与える。
Claims (2)
- 可視光が照射されると予め定められた構造色を生成するナノ構造を、金属表面構造に形成するためのシステムであって、
エンボス構造を有するモノリシック材料から成るダイを少なくともひとつ備える、前記ナノ構造を形成するため装置を少なくともひとつ含み、
前記モノリシック材料は、前記構造色の光スペクトルの波長より大きな粒界を有さず、交差格子状のエンボス構造が表されており、
前記構造色は前記交差格子間の距離によって決定される、システム。 - 請求項1記載のシステムで実行される方法であって、金属シート、スペアパーツもしくはコインの金属表面構造に、前記ナノ構造を形成する方法。
