前記プリンタにおいて画像が記録された用紙の搬送方向を、前記用紙集積装置側と前記後処理装置側とに切り替え爪を有する用紙搬送路とを有し、
前記用紙搬送路は、前記用紙集積装置と前記冊子積載装置の上方位置に配置され、
前記切り替え爪の切り替えにより、画像が記録された用紙を前記用紙集積装置側か、前記後処理装置側かのいずれか一方に搬送可能であり、
前記製本された前記冊子を積載する前記冊子積載装置のトレイを前記用紙集積装置のトレイに兼用し、
前記トレイにトレイ昇降手段を設け、このトレイ昇降手段により前記冊子の厚さ以上前記トレイを下降させ、
