Claims (6)
- 通信システムにおいて1または1に近似する周波数再使用値の1つを用いるために加入者端末(SS)のハンドオーバーに周波数を割り当てる方法であって、
前記加入者端末によって、サービング基地局(BS)によってサービスされる第1の領域におけるフレームを受信するステップと、
前記加入者端末によって、前記加入者端末が前記第1の領域及びターゲット基地局によってサービスされる第2の領域に位置するとき、前記フレームに基づくハンドオーバーの必要性を認知し、前記サービング基地局から受信した信号及び前記ターゲット基地局から受信した信号を用いて、前記ターゲット基地局における次のフレームの安全チャネル周波数を決定し、前記加入者端末によって、前記決定された安全チャネル周波数を前記サービング基地局に報告するステップと、
前記サービング基地局によって、前記加入者端末のハンドオーバーの間、前記決定された安全チャネル周波数が用いられていることを前記ターゲット基地局に報告するステップと
を含み、
前記加入者端末は、前記ターゲット基地局と共に、前記安全チャネル周波数を用い、前記ターゲット基地局は、前記安全チャネル周波数を受信し、前記ターゲット基地局は、ハンドオーバーが終了するまで、前記安全チャネル周波数を用いて、前記加入者端末が前記ターゲット基地局とデータを通信することを決定し、前記ターゲット基地局は、予め設定されたフレーム数毎に前記安全チャネル周波数を変更する
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記安全チャネル周波数は、前記フレームの第2のプリアンブルに含まれる周波数のうち、データが転送されない周波数であり、
前記データが転送されない周波数は、パターンに応じて決定され、
前記パターンは、基地局毎に異なるように設定され、かつフレーム毎に変更される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記フレームは、第1のプリアンブルと前記第2のプリアンブルとを含むプリアンブルを含み、
前記第1のプリアンブルは、前記加入者端末によって、前記サービング基地局からの距離、及び前記加入者端末と前記サービング基地局との間のチャネルの状況を測定するために、情報を転送するために用いられ、
前記第2のプリアンブルは、前記加入者端末によって、前記第2のプリアンブルに含まれる全ての周波数のうち、データを転送しない周波数を除く残りの周波数でデータを転送するために用いられる
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。 - 通信システムにおいて1または1に近似する周波数再使用値の1つを用いるために加入者端末(SS)のハンドオーバーに周波数を割り当てる方法であって、
サービング基地局によって、前記サービング基地局と前記加入者端末によって用いられる、次のフレームにおける安全チャネル周波数として、隣接する基地局で用いられない周波数を割り当てるステップと、
前記加入者端末によって、ハンドオーバーが終了するまで、前記安全チャネル周波数で、前記サービング基地局と通信するステップと
を含み、
前記加入者端末がターゲット基地局の領域に移動すると、前記加入者端末は、前記サービング基地局で呼を解除し、前記安全チャネル周波数の代わりに他の周波数を用いて前記ターゲット基地局のみと通信し、
さらに、前記加入者端末が、ハンドオーバーを実行している間、前記ターゲット基地局の領域と重ならない、前記サービング基地局の領域部分に戻ると、前記加入者端末は、ハンドオーバー状況が終了したことを、前記サービング基地局に報告し、前記サービス基地局は、前記安全チャネル周波数の代わりに他の周波数を前記加入者端末に割り当て、
さらに、前記加入者端末がハンドオーバーを実行している間に呼を終了すると、前記サービング基地局は、前記安全チャネル周波数の割り当てを解除し、前記ターゲット基地局にハンドオーバーの終了を報告し、フレーム毎に前記安全チャネル周波数を変更する
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記安全チャネル周波数は、フレームの第2のプリアンブルに含まれる周波数のうち、データが転送されない周波数であり、
前記フレームは、前記サービング基地局の領域内で前記加入者端末によって受信され、
前記データが転送されない周波数は、基地局毎に異なるように設定され、かつフレーム毎に変更されるパターンに応じて決定される
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記フレームは、第1のプリアンブルと前記第2のプリアンブルとを含むプリアンブルを含み、
前記第1のプリアンブルは、前記加入者端末によって、前記サービング基地局からの距離、及び前記加入者端末と前記サービング基地局との間のチャネルの状況を測定するために、情報を転送するために用いられ、
前記第2のプリアンブルは、前記加入者端末によって、前記第2のプリアンブルに含まれる全ての周波数のうち、データを転送しない周波数を除く残りの周波数でデータを転送するために用いられる
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
