【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a display device using a flat display panel such as an electroluminescence (EL) display panel.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, research and development of flat display panels have been actively conducted. Flat display panels include a liquid crystal display panel using transmitted light, a plasma display panel using a discharge phenomenon, a field emission display panel, and an EL display panel using an electroluminescence phenomenon. In the case of performing display by the dot matrix method, pixels are arranged in a matrix in any display panel.
[0003]
In order to improve the visibility of the flat display panel, the display surface of the flat display panel may be optically processed. For example, in order to suppress reflection of external light on the display surface of the flat display panel, an AR (Anti Reflection) coating is performed on the display surface of the flat display panel. In addition, in order to improve the light emission rate of the flat display panel, a microlens array is also formed on the display surface of the flat display (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In addition, in order to improve the front directivity of the flat display panel and further improve the luminance, a prism sheet on which a large number of triangular prisms are formed is bonded to the display surface of the flat display panel.

[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when an optical means such as a microlens array or a prism sheet is provided on the display surface of the flat display panel, the light emission rate toward the front is improved, but light that radiates radially from the emitted pixel (R), for example. When light reaching the upper part of the pixel (G) adjacent to the pixel (R) is refracted or reflected by the optical means facing the pixel (G) and emitted in the front direction, the light is emitted from the pixel (R). There is a problem that light is applied to the original light emitting pixel of the pixel (G), and the area where only the color of the pixel (G) can be seen becomes small.
Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to reduce the emission of light from a predetermined pixel on an adjacent pixel.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems, a display device according to the invention described in
