陳列棚の下端部にベース棚を取り付けたものの従来例としては、特許第２７５５１６５号公報に記載されているものがある。

この陳列棚は、垂直の背面パネルの前面に、前向きの複数の側板を左右方向に離間して取り付けるとともに、隣り合う側板の下端部間にベース棚としての平台を設け、各平台の上部に水平な平台天板を取り付けている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上述の陳列棚では、側端部に位置する平台天板の外側縁が、側端部に位置する側板の外側面よりも内側で終端しているので、平台天板の外側面と側板の外側面との間に段差が生じて、見栄えがよくなく、また平台の外側面を壁面に当接させて使用する場合に、平台天板と壁面との間に隙間が生じ、この隙間に、平台天板上の商品が落ち込むおそれがある。

本発明は、従来の技術が有する上記のような問題点に鑑みてなされたもので、ベース棚の外観を向上させるとともに、ベース棚の側面を壁面に当接させて陳列棚を設置した場合に、ベース棚の上面の側部と壁面との間に隙間が生じないようにし、かつ簡単に組み立てでき、エンドカバーが妄りに脱落しないようにした陳列棚におけるベース棚を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明によると、上記課題は、次のようにして解決される。
(１) 左右に所定の間隔をもって立設された陳列棚側板の前面下端部にベース棚側板を取り付け、左右のベース棚側板の上面間に、左右方向を向く連結部材を、その側端が前記ベース棚側板の上面の左右方向の幅の中間に位置するようにして架設するとともに、前記左右のベース棚側板の上端間に、下面が開口するベース棚天板を、その内側面が前記連結部材の前後左右の側面に当接するようにして架設し、前記ベース棚天板の側端面に、左右方向の幅を、前記ベース棚側板の上面におけるベース棚天板の載置部分を除く部分の左右方向の幅と同一とした前後方向を向くエンドカバーを、着脱自在に装着する。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の一実施形態を備える陳列棚(１)について、添付図面を参照しながら説明する。

陳列棚本体(２)は、左右１対の上下方向を向く陳列棚側板(３)の後端部同士を、上下方向を向く背板(４)で塞いだものよりなっている。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、次のような効果を奏することができる。
