壁面に設けた換気孔に付設される換気装置であって、前記換気孔に連設される筒状の取付本体と、この取付本体の正面開口部に設けられ、この正面開口部を開閉する開閉蓋体とから成り、この開閉蓋体には、この開閉蓋体を最大開放位置,開放途中位置,閉塞位置に段階的に切り替わる下記構造の開閉機構が設けられ、この開閉機構により前記開閉蓋体を一押操作して前記最大開放位置から前記開放途中位置への切り替えを可能としたことを特徴とする換気装置。

前記取付本体に設けられる管状部と、前記開閉蓋体に設けられ前記管状部に挿入される棒状部とを有し、前記棒状部は前記管状部内で付勢体に抗して後側方向へスライド自在に設けられ、前記管状部の周壁には溝部が設けられ、前記棒状部には前記溝部内でスライドする係止部を先端に有する棒状部材が設けられ、前記係止部は前記棒状部材における基部を支点とした撓み変形により巾方向及び上下方向のいずれの方向にも戻り付勢を生じながら可動し得るように構成され、前記溝部の後寄りの内縁には対向縁方向へ突出する突出縁が設けられ、この突出縁には爪部が突設され、前記付勢体に抗して前記開閉蓋体を押し操作した際、前記係止部は前記最大開放位置を得る前後方向の初期位置から後側方向にスライドし、テーパー作用により前記棒状部材が巾方向の初期位置から側方向に撓み変形し、前記係止部は前記爪部を乗り越えて該爪部の後側に係止して前記開放途中位置が得られるように構成され、前記溝部の後側縁は誘導部に構成され、前記溝部内で後側方向にスライドする前記係止部が、前記誘導部に当接した際、テーパー作用により前記棒状部材が上下方向の初期位置から下方向に撓み変形し、前記係止部は前記管状部の内方向へ誘導されて前記溝部から係脱し、且つ、巾方向の初期位置へ戻り、更に、前記係止部は前記付勢体の付勢により前側方向へ移動して前記前後方向の初期位置に戻るように構成されている。
