Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a gas leak detection system in a gas pipe such as a marine main boiler or an auxiliary boiler for a floating object (FPSO).
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 3 shows a gas leakage detection system for a conventional gas combustion type marine main boiler.
[0003]
Finding gas leaks in this type of gas piping is more difficult and dangerous than fuels such as heavy oil. Therefore, for example, the gas pipe 3 for supplying fuel gas to the first burner 1 and the second burner 2 is covered with a casing 5 for preventing gas leakage including the gas header 4 and the first and second burners 1 and 2. Airtightness is maintained.
[0004]
Since the specific gravity in the main component is methane (specific gravity 0.72 kg / m 3) of the gas is lower than the air (specific gravity 1.29 kg / m 3), there is a possibility that occurs gas pocket in the casing 5 upwardly from the gas pipe 3 When a gas leak occurs, even if a gas detector (gas sensor) 6 is provided only at one location, it is difficult to detect, so a fan 7 for convection inside the casing 5 is provided. Thus, when a gas leak occurs, a warning is generated by the gas detector 6.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional gas leak detection system described above, the gas pipe 3 is covered with a gas leak prevention casing 5 including the gas header 4 and the first and second burners 1 and 2. Therefore, there is a problem that a large space in the ship is occupied, and a fan 7 and an expensive gas detector 6 for convection inside the casing 5 are also required.
[0006]
Further, when a gas leak occurs, gas is released into the atmosphere by the casing convection fan 7, and there is a concern about the influence on the environment. Furthermore, there is a problem that the gas pipe 3 is not provided with a gas leakage prevention measure due to oxidation.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide an inexpensive and highly reliable gas leak detection system that can save space with a simple structure.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve such an object, a gas leak detection system according to the present invention uses a gas pipe of a marine main boiler as a double pipe, and mainly contains N 2 gas having a pressure higher than the fuel gas pressure in the inner pipe in the outer pipe. with periodically sealed entry from N 2 gas supply unit used when the fuel gas purge of the boiler burner and the gas pipe is provided with detection means for detecting the pressure of the N 2 gas, the pressure of the N 2 gas is predetermined value A warning is issued when it falls below.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, a gas leakage detection system according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings by way of examples.
[0012]
[Example]
FIG. 1 is a schematic configuration diagram of a gas leak detection system for a marine main boiler according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of a portion II in FIG. In these drawings, the same members as those in FIG.
[0013]
As shown in FIG. 1, fuel gas (mainly composed of methane gas) from a gas tank is supplied to a first burner 1 and a second burner 2 of a marine main boiler via a gas pipe 3 </ b> A and a gas header 4. It is like that.
[0014]
As shown in FIG. 2, the gas pipe 3 </ b> A is formed of a double pipe, and an N 2 gas which is an inert gas is present in the outer pipe 10 at a pressure higher than the fuel gas pressure flowing in the inner pipe 11. It is enclosed.
[0015]
An ON-OFF pressure switch 12 for detecting the pressure of the N 2 gas is provided, and a warning is issued when the pressure of the N 2 gas falls below a predetermined value.
[0016]
Further, N 2 gas is periodically injected from the N 2 gas supply unit used at the time of fuel gas purging of the main boiler burner and gas piping, and the pressure is always kept constant. In addition, the gas pipe 3A formed of a double pipe is preferably at least a pipe portion in the facility of the marine main boiler (corresponding to a region covered with the conventional casing 5).
[0017]
Since it is configured in this way, when a hole is formed in the inner tube 11, N 2 gas having a pressure higher than that of the fuel gas enters the inner tube 11, so that the pressure of the N 2 gas in the outer tube 10 decreases. Since the pressure switch 12 detects this and issues a warning, safety can be ensured.
[0018]
In this embodiment, the casing 5, the gas detector 6 and the fan 7 (see FIG. 3) used in the gas pipe 3 of the conventional marine main boiler are not necessary, so that the space in the ship can be reduced. Costs can be reduced by reducing the number of parts. Incidentally, the ON-OFF type pressure switch 12 is less expensive than the conventional gas detector (gas sensor) 6.
[0019]
In addition, by flowing N 2 gas through the outer pipe 10, the inner pipe 11 does not come into contact with oxygen, so that oxidation can be prevented. Therefore, the possibility of gas leakage can be reduced, and the durability of the gas pipe 3A can be improved.
[0020]
Moreover, since complicated equipment is not required, handling is easy and the reliability as a system is also high. Furthermore, since the space on the ship is small, the piping on the gas pipe can be easily performed. Furthermore, since no gas is released into the atmosphere when a gas leak occurs, there is little impact on the environment.
[0021]
Needless to say, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. For example, an inert gas other than N 2 gas may be used, or the pressure of the inert gas may be detected by something other than the ON-OFF type pressure switch 12.
[0022]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail based on the embodiments, the invention according to claim 1 of the present invention is configured such that the gas pipe of the marine main boiler is a double pipe, and the fuel gas pressure in the inner pipe is higher in the outer pipe. with periodically sealed entry from N 2 gas supply unit used the N 2 gas pressure at the fuel gas purge of the burner and the gas pipe of the main boiler, provided with detection means for detecting a pressure of the N 2 gas, the N (2) Since a warning is issued when the gas pressure drops below the specified value, gas leakage can be reliably detected with a simple structure, saving space and reducing the number of parts. Can be planned. In addition, when a gas leak occurs, there is little impact on the environment because no gas is released into the atmosphere. In addition, since the inert gas is N 2 gas, the inner pipe does not come into contact with oxygen, so that oxidation can be prevented, so that the possibility of gas leakage can be reduced and the durability of the gas pipe can be improved. In addition, since the gas pipe is a gas pipe of a marine main boiler, the casing, gas detector, fan, etc. used in the gas pipe of the conventional marine main boiler are not required, so that the space in the ship can be reduced. The cost can be reduced by reducing the number of parts.
