Description

The present invention relates to a technology for packaging a bundle of linear objects, and more particularly to a method and apparatus for surrounding and packaging a film sheet with a predetermined length.

Conventionally, one or many continuous linear objects are wound up to form a bundle of linear objects. For example, hollow fiber membranes, synthetic tatami mats, brushes, etc. create a bundle of linear objects. After that, it is cut to a certain length and produced. In particular, the hollow fiber membrane is used in various fields such as the automobile industry, the semiconductor industry, and the pharmaceutical food industry (for example, a hemodialysis filter for medical use), and high quality is also required for its use.

When winding a linear object such as a hollow fiber or a hollow fiber bundle as described above, it is wound on a reel, and the wound linear object bundle is cut or wrapped with a film. Has been done.
As a conventionally known technique, there is a method and an apparatus for wrapping a hollow fiber bundle as described in Patent Document 1.

According to the disclosure, a method is provided in which a film web is wound around a hollow fiber bundle to form a film tube, cut into a predetermined length, and the films are bonded together. The film web is cut after forming the second section surrounding the hollow fiber bundle, the first section and the third section on both sides thereof, and combining the first section and the third section. Such a method has been conventionally used, and the disclosure particularly discloses a configuration in which a recess is formed in the second section and a hollow fiber bundle is inserted into the recess.

In this configuration, since the hollow fiber bundle is not bundled, the concave portion is formed in advance to prevent the hollow fiber shape from collapsing, and the hollow fiber bundle inserted into the concave portion is formed into a film web as shown in FIG. It is made to wrap by winding up.
However, such a conventional method has a certain effect when it can be moved freely on the premise that the hollow fiber bundle is not bundled, but it is wound on the reel body. It is not preferable as a method for packaging a linear bundle of materials.

That is, the linear object bundle on the reel is fixed by hands extending radially from the center, and when the linear object bundle is wrapped and cut between the hands, It is desirable to take a configuration in which the packaging device is brought close to the packaging.
Therefore, unlike the conventional configuration in which the linear object bundle is movable, a configuration for packaging the fixed linear object bundle with the minimum necessary configuration is required.

At the same time, when a bundle of linear objects is wrapped with a film, a part of the linear object is caught in the joint, and particularly when the film is melted, it may be melted together with the linear object.
Such product defects due to packaging are unacceptable and cause a reduction in production efficiency. This is a serious problem that affects the filter performance particularly when a highly accurate hollow fiber bundle such as a hemodialysis filter for medical use is manufactured.

The present invention was created in view of the above-described problems of the prior art, and its purpose is to wind a linear object bundle on a film that wraps the linear object bundle in a state where the linear object bundle is fixed to a winding frame or the like. It is an object to provide a method and an apparatus for packaging without fail.

In order to achieve the above object, the method for packaging a linear bundle according to the present invention has the following characteristics.
That is, the invention according to claim 1 is a packaging method for a linear bundle of bundles, in which a fixed linear bundle is enclosed and wrapped with a film sheet at a predetermined length, and includes a pair of opposing enclosure means. A first step in which the film sheet surface stretched by a mechanism with a predetermined tensile force is raised against the linear object bundle by raising the packaging mechanism to refract the film sheet into a valley shape; A second step of closing the pair of surrounding means at the upper part of the linear object bundle from the sheet back side and sandwiching the linear object bundle with the film sheet, and lowering the surrounding means until it comes into contact with the linear object bundle And at least a fourth step of narrowing the linear object bundle, and a fourth step of bonding and cutting the film sheet surface sides at the outer periphery of the linear object bundle.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, in the third step of the packaging method of the linear object bundle, after the linear object bundle is narrowed down by the surrounding means, the one set facing each other from the back side of the film sheet of the valley surface It is possible to provide a packaging method in which the film sheet surfaces are pressed and fixed by the fixing means.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the third step, the bundle of linear objects is narrowed down by increasing the tensile force of the film sheet. This configuration may be narrowed down only by this, or can be used in combination with the method described in claim 2 .

According to invention of Claim 4 , in the 4th step of the packaging method of a linear object bundle, it can take the structure which an adhesive cutting means welds and cut | disconnects the film sheet surfaces.

The following effects are achieved by the above means. That is, according to the present invention, the film sheet can be pressed against the linear object bundle and the surrounding means can be moved to sandwich the linear object bundle so that the linear object is fixed to the winding frame. Even in such a state, the packaging operation can be suitably performed.
In addition, it is possible to flexibly cope with various bundle thicknesses without changing the apparatus with changes in the bundle thickness of the linear object bundle.
In particular, according to the method of Claim 2 and 3, it can package by moderate force, without involving a linear thing.

DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the invention will be described based on examples shown in the drawings. The embodiment is not limited to the following.
First, an outline of a wire frame body used with the packaging apparatus of the present invention will be described. FIG. 11 is a front view of a reel body (A) for winding the hollow fiber according to the present invention.
In this embodiment, the reel body (A) is rotated by a driving device (not shown), and a rotation center portion (100) and hand portions (101) to (101) arranged radially from the rotation shaft support portion (100). (106) having a hexagonal shape when the hollow fiber (B) is wound.

In the present invention, not only when winding a single linear object, but also winding a plurality of linear objects already bundled, for example, several hundreds, so that a large number of lines such as thousands or tens of thousands are wound. It can be used in the production of a bundle made of a product. Hereinafter, hollow fibers will be mentioned as an example of the linear material, but the material thereof is arbitrary. Further, in the following, when simply referred to as a hollow fiber, it refers to a single hollow fiber and a plurality of hollow fiber bundles.

As shown in FIG. 12, the front end portions of the plurality of hand portions (101) to (106) are each provided with gripping bodies (107) (107) for gripping the hollow fibers wound on both sides. The gripping body (107) is configured to be slidable up and down in the guide portion (108), and grips the hollow fiber by urging downward in the drawing.
In this configuration, good gripping can be obtained even if the thick bundle of hollow fibers changes.

As shown in FIG. 11, the hollow fiber (B) wound around the hand portions (101) to (106) wraps the packaging portion (109) at the lower end position by the packaging machine (10). The winding body (A) rotates and sequentially wraps all the sides of the polygon. At that time, the packaging machine wraps around from the lower side to the upper side.

The structure of the packaging method and packaging machine (10) in the present invention will be described below using the above-described winding frame. FIG. 1 shows a side sectional view of a packaging machine (10) according to the present invention and its vicinity, and wraps a hollow fiber bundle (B) wound around a hand body (102) as an example.
The packaging machine (10) includes a pair of packaging mechanisms (11) and (12) on the left and right sides (hereinafter, referred to as up and down and left and right based on the side view in FIG. 1). The fixing guides (20) and (21) as the fixing means, the fusing sealers (22) and (23), and the surrounding guides (24) and (25) as the surrounding means are arranged from above.

The fixed guides (20) and (21) are slidable in the left-right direction on the sealer bases (26) and (27) to which the fusing sealers (22) and (23) are attached, and the sealer bases (26) and (27). The structure itself is slidable vertically and horizontally.
Guide rollers (30) and (31) for reducing friction during film sheet feeding are disposed above the fixed guides (20) and (21), and the film sheet (C) is fed from the right or left direction. After packaging, new film sheets are supplied as needed. In this embodiment, a thermoplastic resin is used as the film sheet.

The position of the fusing sealers (22) and (23) can be moved up and down and left and right along with the sealer bases (26) and (27).
Furthermore, the go guides (24) and (25) are also arranged on the sealer bases (26) and (27), and are configured to be slidable in the left-right direction by a sliding mechanism (not shown).

First, the packaging machine (10) is disposed below the winding frame (A), and the film sheet (C) is laid substantially horizontally with a predetermined tensile force as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 11, since the hand body (102) is inclined, the hand body (102) is overlapped with the film sheet (C) in FIG.
The film sheet (C) can be controlled by a tensile force control mechanism (not shown), and can be realized, for example, by controlling the driving force between the driving motors of the film sheet winding / supply roller.

And as a 1st step of this invention, as shown in FIG. 2, a sealer base (26) (27) is raised and it is in the state which a film sheet (C) presses a hollow fiber bundle (B). At this time, the film sheet (C) is refracted into a valley shape by stress, and the inclination angle of the valley surface is substantially the same as the inclination angle of the fixed guides (20) and (21). Thereby, a film sheet (C) is reliably hold | maintained toward a hollow fiber bundle (B) by a fixed guide (20) (21) upper surface.

Next, as a second step of the present invention, the surrounding guides (24) and (25), which are the surrounding means, close at the top of the hollow fiber bundle (B), and the film sheet (C) sandwiches the hollow fiber bundle (B). Like that.
Further, in the third step, the hollow fiber bundle (B) is narrowed to such an extent that the sealer bases (26) and (27) are lowered as shown in FIG. 3 and come into contact with the hollow fiber bundle (B) as shown in FIG.

Here, regarding the second step and the third step, a configuration suitable for carrying out the present invention will be shown.
First, in the second step, as shown in FIG. 7, the surrounding guides (24) and (25) are closed from the left and right toward the film sheet (C), respectively, and the surfaces of the film sheets are brought into close contact with each other. At this time, the contact portion between the hollow fiber bundle (B) and the surrounding guides (24) and (25) is kept at an appropriate interval.

Then, as a third step, as shown in FIG. 8, by lowering the sealer base (26) (27), the surrounding guides (24) (25) are turned into the hollow fiber bundle (B) by the film sheet (C). To push through. At the same time, the hollow fiber bundle (B) is narrowed down by drawing the film sheet (C) in the direction of the arrow in the figure by the action of the tensile force control mechanism.

Conventionally, when the film sheet (C) is narrowed by such a method, the surrounding guides (24) and (25) may be opened and protrude with the film sheet (C), which causes a product defect.
In the present invention, by controlling the closing force of the surrounding guides (24) and (25) to be larger than the tensile force of the tensile force control mechanism, the possibility of opening the surrounding guides (24) and (25) is eliminated. Yes.

Further, in the third step, as shown in FIG. 9, the fixing guides (20) and (21) are closed to fix the film sheet (C) also at the upper part. Here, the fixing guides (20) and (21) fix the film sheet (C) so as not to shift. On the other hand, the go guides (24) and (25) are closed with a pressing force not fixed so that the film sheet (C) is slid when being narrowed.

Furthermore, since this packaging machine (10) is provided with the fusing sealers (22) and (23) as the adhesive cutting means, in the fourth step of the present invention, the film sheet (C) is fused. The fusing sealers (22) and (23) are located between the fixed guides (20) and (21) and the surrounding guides (24) and (25), and are heated by the heaters (28) and (29). By closing the sealer bases (26) and (27) toward the film sheet (C), the ends of the fusing sealers (22) and (23) abut against each other, and the film sheet (C) is melted.

FIG. 10 is a view showing the state of the fusing, in which the tip (22a) of the fusing sealer (22) forms a mountain shape, the tip (23a) of the fusing sealer (23) that is opposite forms a trapezoid, By heating, the film sheet (C) is melted and cut. Needless to say, the film sheet (C) is in a state where the surfaces are in close contact with each other in the form of a palm after the hollow fiber bundle (B) is wound.

When the fusing is completed as shown in FIG. 5, the film sheet (C) is welded to both the upper and lower parts of the cut portion, so that the hollow fiber bundle (B) is simultaneously wrapped and the upper film sheet ( C) becomes a continuous sheet again, and the film position is adjusted by the film sheet winding / feeding roller in preparation for the next packaging operation.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 6, when the packaging mechanisms (11) and (12) are retracted to the left and right, the rotary cutter (32) rises from below, and the hollow fiber bundle is cut at predetermined lengths. Through the above series of steps, the hollow fiber bundle wound around the winding frame (A) is packaged, cut and removed.

Thus, the present invention can provide a packaging machine capable of satisfactorily wrapping a hollow fiber bundle fixed on a winding body, and can automate packaging without moving the hollow fiber bundle as in the prior art. You can also In particular, the operations shown in Step 2 and Step 3 are techniques for preventing the hollow fiber from protruding and increasing production efficiency, and form the core of the present application.

In this embodiment, a fusing sealer is used as the adhesive cutting means. However, this is a suitable means because the film sheet is a thermoplastic resin, and an adhesive is applied to adhere in the form of a palm. The structure cut | disconnected by etc. may be sufficient. As the film sheet, any material such as paper or other resin can be used.
