Description

The present invention relates to a shield connector for equipment.

FIG. 3 shows a device shield connector 101 for connecting an electric wire to a device 100 such as an electric vehicle motor. The device-side connector 101 is configured by attaching a device-side housing 104 to the mounting hole 103 of the case 102 of the device 100 and fixing a device-side shield shell 105 surrounding the device-side housing 104 to the outer surface of the case 102. . The device-side connector 101 is provided with a waterproof seal member 106 between the device-side shield shell 105 and the outer surface of the case 102 as a waterproof means, and the device-side terminal 107 has a male shape. The device-side housing 104 is penetrated in a liquid-tight state by means such as insert molding or press-fitting.

On the other hand, the electric wire side connector (not shown) has a female electric wire side terminal fixed to the end portion of the electric wire constituting the wire harness, and the electric wire side terminal is accommodated in the electric wire side housing. JP 2002-125348 A

In the above-described conventional shield connector for equipment, water immersion along the path from the mounting hole 103 to the inside of the case 102 through the outer face of the case 102 of the equipment 100 is interposed between the equipment-side shield shell 105 and the outer face of the case 102. The sealing member 106 is blocked.
However, since a waterproof means is not provided in the gap between the device-side housing 104 and the device-side shield shell 105, the inside of the case 102 is attached to the mounting hole 103, when the wire-side connector is removed from the device-side connector 101. And it communicates with the outside through a gap S between the device-side housing 104 and the device-side shield shell 105. For this reason, there is a possibility that liquid from the outside enters the case 102 or the liquid in the case 102 leaks to the outside.
As a countermeasure, a dedicated sealing means may be provided between the device-side shield shell and the device-side housing. In this case, however, there is a problem that the number of parts increases.
The present invention has been completed based on the above situation, and without increasing the number of parts, the waterproofing of the path connecting the inside and the outside of the case through the gap between the device side shield shell and the device side housing is achieved. The purpose is to plan.

As a means for achieving the above object, the invention of claim 1 comprises a device-side connector and a wire-side connector that can be fitted and detached, and the device-side connector is a device case. A female-side electric wire-side terminal capable of accommodating the electric-wire-side terminal, enclosing the electric-wire-side housing capable of fitting with the device-side housing, and surrounding the electric-wire-side housing, Vessel side is constituted by a capable and has been wire-side shield shell connected to the shield shell, the apparatus side housing hood portion of the wire-side housing is fitted, the device-side shield shell A wire-side seal member that seals a gap with the inner peripheral surface of the hood portion in a state of being fitted to the hood portion on the outer periphery of the wire-side housing . It has the characteristics.

A second aspect of the present invention is the press portion according to the first aspect, wherein the device-side shield shell is made of aluminum die cast, and presses the device-side housing to the outer surface side of the case over the entire circumference. It has the feature in having.

<Invention of Claim 1>

A path that communicates the inside and outside of the case through a gap between the shell and the device-side housing is waterproof. Thus, since the apparatus side sealing member has the function which waterproofs two paths, it does not need to increase the number of parts.

<Invention of Claim 2>
The device side shield shell is made of aluminum die cast, which is harder to deform than the thin plate shape, and the pressing part of the device side shield shell presses the device side housing to the outer surface side of the case over the entire circumference. The device-side seal member is firmly sandwiched between the case with the device-side housing, and the reliability of the sealing performance by the device-side seal member is high.

The device-side housing 20 is made of synthetic resin, and a plurality of fitting recesses 22 (three not shown in the present embodiment) opened to the front are arranged side by side in a housing body 21 having a horizontally long oval shape. It is formed with. The housing body 21 is formed with a horizontally long oval hood portion 23 that protrudes forward from the outer peripheral edge of the front end portion and is slightly larger than the housing body 21. The inside of the hood portion 23 is partitioned into a plurality (three) of circular holes 24, and a fitting concave portion 22 of the housing body 21 is opened at the back end surface of each circular hole 24. From the rear end of the housing body 21, a plurality (three) of terminal holding portions 25 corresponding to the fitting recesses 22 are formed so as to protrude rearward. It is held in a form that penetrates in the front-rear direction.

The device-side terminal 30 is a male terminal having a tab shape elongated in the front-rear direction, and the device-side housing 20 is set by insert molding by setting the device-side terminal 30 in a mold for forming the device-side housing 20. And integrated. The gap between the terminal holding portion 25 and the device side terminal 30 is tightly sealed (sealed) with an adhesive 31 applied to the outer periphery of the device side terminal 30 during insert molding. The front end portion 30F of the device side terminal 30 protrudes from the front end surface of the terminal holding portion 25 into the fitting recess 22, and the rear end portion 30R of the device side terminal 30 is rearward from the rear end surface of the terminal holding portion 25 (inside the case 10). To the outside of the device-side housing 20.

In addition, the device-side housing 20 is formed with two partition walls 26 projecting in a cantilevered manner from the position between the terminal holding portions 25 on the rear end surface of the housing body 21. The upper edge of the partition wall 26 is flush with the upper surface of the housing body 21, the lower edge of the partition wall 26 is flush with the lower surface of the housing body 21, and the device-side terminal 30 is connected to the lower edge of the partition wall 26. Located at the height between the edges. Further, the rear end of the partition wall 26 is located further rearward than the rear end portion 30 </ b> R of the device-side terminal 30. On the outer periphery of the rear end portion of the hood portion 23, a pressed portion 27 having an oblong flange shape that is continuous over the entire circumference is formed, and the rear end surface of the pressed portion 27 and the rear end surface of the hood portion 23 are The housing body 21 is connected to be flush with the outer periphery of the housing body 21. Then, on the rear end face of the pressed portion 27 and the hood portion 23 that are flush with each other, a horizontally long oval seal groove 28 is formed so as to surround the outer periphery of the housing body 21. A rubber device-side seal member 29 having an oval ring shape is mounted.

The device-side shield shell 40 is made of aluminum die-casting, and is formed by integrally forming a cylindrical pressing portion 41 having a horizontally long oval shape and a flange portion 42 formed on the outer periphery of the pressing portion 41. The substantially first half portion of the pressing portion 41 is slightly smaller than the substantially latter half portion in a stepped manner, and due to this step, the inner periphery of the pressing portion 41 is continuous over the entire circumference and faces backward. A circular pressing surface 43 is formed. The flange portion 42 is formed with a bolt hole (not shown) corresponding to the female screw hole (not shown) of the case 10. The pressing portion 41 of the device side shield shell 40 is assembled to the device side housing 20 so as to surround it.

The device-side connector Ca is assembled into the mounting hole 11 from the outside of the case 10. In the assembled state, the partition wall 26 and the terminal holding portion 25 pass through the mounting hole 11 and advance into the case 10, the housing body 21 penetrates the mounting hole 11, and the pressed portion 27 is close to the outer surface of the case 10. The device-side seal member 29 is in close contact with the outer surface of the case 10. The device-side shield shell 40 is assembled to the device-side housing 20 so as to be externally fitted to the hood portion 23 outside the case 10, and the rear end portion of the hood portion 23 and the pressed portion 27 are accommodated in the pressing portion 41. At the same time, the pressing surface 43 presses the front end surface of the pressed portion 27 backward (case 10 side) over the entire circumference. When a bolt (not shown) passed through the bolt hole of the flange portion 42 of the device-side shield shell 40 is screwed into the female screw hole of the case 10, the device-side shield shell 40 causes the rear end face of the pressing portion 41 to face the case 10. It is fixed so as to be conductive with respect to the case 10 while being in surface contact with the outer surface. Further, the pressing surface 43 presses the pressed portion 27, whereby the sealing member is pressed against the outer surface of the case 10, and by this sealing member, the peripheral portion of the mounting hole 11 on the outer surface of the case 10 and the outer periphery of the device-side housing 20. Is sealed in a liquid-tight manner over the entire circumference. As described above, the assembly of the device-side connector Ca to the case 10 is completed, and the hood portion 23 projects forward from the device-side shield shell 40 and stands by in preparation for connection with the wire-side connector Cb. Further, the rear end portion of the device-side terminal 30 is fixed to a terminal fitting (not shown) connected to the device M main body by a bolt so as to be conductive.

A terminal portion of a shield member 66 made of a braided wire that collectively surrounds a plurality (three) of electric wires 64 is fitted on the outer periphery of a substantially latter half portion of the main body 71, and the shield member 66 is secured by a caulking ring 67. The main body 71 is fixed to be conductive. The shield member 66 and the electric wire 64 constitute a wire harness W. The flange-shaped attachment portion 72 is formed with a bolt hole (not shown) corresponding to a female screw hole (not shown) of the case 10 and a bolt hole (not shown) of the device side shield shell 40. Yes. Furthermore, the shield member and the electric wire are covered with a metal or hard synthetic resin cover, and this cover is engaged with the electric wire side shield shell 70.

The electric wire side connector Cb is fitted to the device side connector Ca outside the case 10. At the time of fitting, each fitting portion 52 is fitted into the corresponding hood portion 23 and fitting recess 22 to fit the device-side housing 20 and the wire-side housing 50. Further, the mounting portion 72 of the wire side shield shell 70 is brought into contact with the outer surface of the flange portion 42 of the device side shield shell 40 in a surface contact state, and the bolts passed through both bolt holes are screwed into the female screw holes of the case 10. By doing so, the electric wire side shield shell 70 is fixed to the case 10 through the device side shield shell 40 so as to be conductive. Thus, the fitting between the connectors Ca and Cb is completed. In the fitted state, the front end portion 30F of the device-side terminal 30 enters the rectangular tube portion 61 of the electric wire-side terminal 60 and makes elastic contact with the elastic contact piece 65 in the rectangular tube portion 61. Are connected in a conductive manner. Further, in the fitting portion between the housings 20 and 50, the gap between the inner periphery of the circular hole 24 of the device-side housing 20 and the outer periphery of the fitting portion 52 of the wire-side housing 50 is liquid-tight by the wire-side seal member 55. Sealed to state.

In a state where both the connectors Ca and Cb are fitted, the gap between the mounting hole 11 and the device-side housing 20 is sealed by the device-side seal member 29, so that liquid along the outer surface of the case 10 enters the mounting hole 11. Intrusion is prevented. Further, liquid that has entered from the outside to the outer periphery of the hood portion 23 of the device-side housing 20 through the gap between the device-side housing 20 and the device-side shield shell 40 or through the gap between the device-side shield shell 40 and the wire-side shield shell 70. Is prevented from entering the inside of the hood portion 23 (connection portion between the terminals 30 and 60) by the electric wire side sealing member 55. The liquid that has entered the gap between the electric wire side housing 50 and the electric wire side shield shell 70 is also prevented from entering the hood portion 23 (the connection portion between the terminals 30 and 60) by the electric wire side sealing member 55.

On the other hand, when liquid (for example, oil) stored in the case 10 enters the gap between the mounting hole 11 and the device-side housing 20, the liquid is between the device-side housing 20 and the outer surface of the case 10. Leakage to the outside of the case 10 is prevented by the device side seal member 29 provided in the case 10. Therefore, even when the electric wire side connector Cb is removed from the device side connector Ca, the liquid in the case 10 does not leak outside through the gap between the mounting hole 11 and the device side housing 20.

As described above, in the present embodiment, water in the path from the mounting hole 11 to the inside of the case 10 through the outer surface of the case 10 of the apparatus M, and water leakage in the path opposite to this, It is blocked by a device-side seal member 29 interposed between 20 and the outer surface of the case 10. Further, in a state where the wire side connector Cb is removed from the device side connector Ca, the gap between the device side housing 20 and the device side shield shell 40 is isolated from the inside of the case 10 in a liquid-tight manner by the device side seal member 29. As a result, the path connecting the inside and the outside of the case 10 through the gap between the device-side shield shell 40 and the device-side housing 20 is waterproofed. Thus, since the apparatus side sealing member 29 has the function to waterproof two paths, it does not need to increase the number of parts.

In addition, the device-side shield shell 40 is made of aluminum die cast which is not easily deformed as compared to a thin plate shape, and the pressing portion 41 of the device-side shield shell 40 extends around the device-side housing 20 on the outer surface of the case 10. Since the device side sealing member 29 is firmly sandwiched between the device side housing 20 and the case 10, the reliability of the sealing performance by the device side sealing member 29 is high.
