図4は、従来の排水管の保護構造を示す模式的断面図である。埋立処分施設等の地盤1には溝2が形成され、地盤1上には遮水シート3が敷設されている。溝2内には保護材4が充填され、保護材4上に排水管5が配設されている。排水管5の周囲には被覆材6が充填され、遮水シート3上にも保護材7が充填され、被覆材6および保護材7上に埋立廃棄物8を重機で撤きだしながら埋め立てている。前記保護材4、7としては土とセメントを混合した材料が用いられ、被覆材6としては礫などの材料が用いられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記被覆材6は、排水を集める機能と排水管5の保護機能を目的としているが、重機荷重によって被覆材6の礫が割れて鋭利な部分が生じる可能性があり、また、礫の一部には納入時に鋭利な部分がある可能性もある。一方で、遮水シート3は厚さが1.5mm程度であるため、埋立中に重機の荷重が直接的に被覆材6および遮水シート3に作用し、被覆材6の鋭利な部分が遮水シート3に突き刺さってシートが破損し、止水性に重大な損傷をおよぼす恐れがあるという問題を有している。

そのために、本発明の廃タイヤを利用した排水管保護構造は、埋立処分施設等の地盤に敷設された遮水シートと、該遮水シート上に間隔をおいて配設された複数の廃タイヤと、該複数の廃タイヤ内を貫通して配設された排水管と、該排水管の周囲に充填された廃タイヤチップとから構成されていることを特徴とする。

以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面を参照しつつ説明する。図1は、本発明の廃タイヤを利用した排水管保護構造の1実施形態を示す模式的断面図、図2は施工方法を説明するための図である。

図1において、埋立処分施設等の地盤1には溝2が形成され、地盤1上には遮水シート3が敷設されている。溝2内には、図2(A)にも示すように、間隔をおいて複数の廃タイヤ9が配設され、複数の廃タイヤ9内を貫通して排水管5が配設されている。図2(B)に示すように、排水管5の周囲には廃タイヤをチップ化した廃タイヤチップ10が充填され、さらに図2(C)に示すように、廃タイヤ9の外側にも廃タイヤチップ10が充填される。廃タイヤチップ10の外側の遮水シート3上には保護材7が充填される。
