Claims (16)
- 光学的な装置であって、
コヒーレントな放射ビームを提供する光学系、
該コヒーレントな放射の経路に位置した強く散乱する対象、及び、
入射するスペックルパターンを検出するピクセル化された光検出器を含み、
該スペックルパターンは、該強く散乱する対象に入射する該コヒーレントな放射によって生じさせられ、
該光検出器のピクセルの大きさは、該強く散乱する対象に対する当該光学的な装置におけるそれの位置によって決定され且つλ/NAによって決定されるような該スペックルパターンに存在する明るいパッチ及び暗いパッチのものと実質的に同じ大きさに設定され、
λは、該コヒーレントな放射の波長であると共にNAは、該光学系の開口数である、光学的な装置。 - 前記光学系は、半径aのコヒーレントな放射ビームを提供するコヒーレントな放射源を含み、前記光検出器は、前記強く散乱する対象から距離zに位置させられ、NA=a/zである、請求項1に記載の光学的な装置。
- 当該光学系は、半径aのコヒーレントな放射ビームを提供するコヒーレントな放射源及び前記強く散乱する対象と前記光検出器との間における前記コヒーレントな放射ビームの経路に、焦点距離fを有する一つ以上の収束光学素子を含み、NA=a/fである、請求項1に記載の光学的な装置。
- 前記一つ以上の光学素子は、前記強く散乱する対象から距離vに且つ前記光検出器から距離bに位置させられ、1/v+1/b=1/fである、請求項3に記載の光学的な装置。
- 空間光変調器が、前記コヒーレントな放射源と前記強く散乱する対象との間に提供される、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の光学的な装置。
- 光学的なパワーを備えた一つ以上の素子が、前記コヒーレントな放射源と前記強く散乱する対象との間の放射の経路に提供される、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の光学的な装置。
- 前記強く散乱する対象によるスペックルパターンの形成は、物理的にクローニング不能な機能の実施である、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の光学的な装置。
- 前記光検出器及び前記強く散乱する対象は、前記光検出器のピクセルが、少なくとも、ηmaxλ/NAよりも小さいものであるように、相互に対して位置させられ、ηmaxは、1から20までの範囲における数である、請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の光学的な装置。
- ηmaxは、1から10までの範囲における数である、請求項8に記載の光学的な装置。
- ηmaxは、5から10までの範囲における数である、請求項9に記載の光学的な装置。
- ηmax=5である、請求項10に記載の光学的な装置。
- 前記光検出器及び前記強く散乱する対象は、前記光検出器のピクセルが、ηminλ/NAよりも大きいものであるように、相互に対して位置させられ、ηminは、0と2との間の数である、請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の光学的な装置。
- ηminは、0と1との間の数である、請求項12に記載の光学的な装置。
- ηminは、0.05及び0.5の範囲における数である、請求項13に記載の光学的な装置。
- ηmin=0.05である、請求項14に記載の光学的な装置。
- スペックルパターンを検出する方法であって、
強く散乱する対象をコヒーレントな放射で照射すること及び結果として生じるスペックルパターンを受けるピクセル化された光検出器を提供することを含み、
前記光検出器のピクセルの大きさは、前記強く散乱する対象に対するそれの位置によって決定され且つλ/NAによって決定されるような前記スペックルパターンに存在する明るいパッチ及び暗いパッチのものと実質的に同じ大きさに設定され、
λは、前記コヒーレントな放射の波長であり、且つ、NAは、前記光学系の開口数である、方法。
