Description

The present invention relates to a television receiver that is assumed to be used in an environment exposed to wind and rain such as outdoors.

Conventionally, a television receiver in which a cabinet is sealed has been proposed on the assumption that it is used in a humid environment such as a bathroom (see Patent Document 1). The same cabinet structure is also applied to a television receiver that is assumed to be used in an environment exposed to wind and rain such as outdoors.

Since the cabinet is hermetically sealed and used outdoors, the air pressure in the cabinet may change due to a sudden change in temperature, which may damage the cabinet. As a countermeasure against this, it is conceivable to provide an internal pressure regulating valve in the cabinet to allow the air to flow inside and outside the cabinet, and to adjust the change in the cabinet internal pressure due to a sudden change in temperature.
However, if the internal pressure regulating valve allows the air inside and outside the cabinet to flow, water vapor enters the cabinet. As a result, when the temperature falls, condensation occurs inside, which may adversely affect the electrical components inside the cabinet.
An object of the present invention is to provide a television receiver that achieves both adjustment of cabinet internal pressure change and prevention of internal condensation.

The present invention relates to an outdoor television receiver in which an internal pressure regulating valve (5) that allows ventilation inside and outside the cabinet (2) is provided on a sealed cabinet (2) that is partially made of metal. (2), characterized in that the humidity material for condensation prevention having an inner moisture absorption effect (7) is attached.

Although the change in the atmospheric pressure in the cabinet (2) can be adjusted by the internal pressure regulating valve (5), there is a possibility that water vapor outside the cabinet (2) enters by the internal pressure regulating valve (5). When the external temperature of the cabinet (2) decreases, the relative humidity increases and condensation tends to occur.
Therefore, the moisture conditioner (7) absorbs water vapor and lowers the relative humidity to prevent condensation. If the internal temperature of the cabinet (2) increases, the relative humidity decreases. At this time, the humidity control material (7) releases moisture contained therein.
As described above, the combination of the humidity control material (7) and the internal pressure regulating valve (5) has an effect of keeping the air-tightness outdoors for a long time and suppressing the condensation inside the cabinet (2) for a long time.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the television receiver (1) of this example as seen from the front, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view as seen from the rear. The television receiver (1) includes a cabinet (2) which is an external part. The cabinet (2) includes a front cabinet (10) in which an image receiving unit such as a liquid crystal panel or a plasma display panel is provided, and an internal part. It is composed of a cabinet (11) after dissipating the heat. The boundary line between the cabinets 10 and 11 is indicated by a line L in FIGS.
The rear cabinet (11) comprises a metal rear frame (3) formed with fins (33), and the rear frame (3) connects four elongated rear frame components (30, 30) in a rectangular shape. It is configured together. The fin (33) extends over the entire length of the rear frame component piece (30). The front cabinet (10) is configured by connecting four front frame constituent pieces (20) and (20) in a rectangular shape. The rear opening (31) of the rear frame (3) is covered with a sealing plate (4) as described later, and the cabinet (2) is sealed.
The television receiver (1) in this example is assumed to be used outdoors, and the cabinet (2) is sealed to prevent the possibility of rainwater or the like entering the inside. Due to the heat generated in the internal circuit, the high-temperature internal air contacts the rear frame (3) and is radiated to the outside.

Each rear frame component piece (30) is specifically formed by extrusion of aluminum. That is, the rear frame component piece (30) is cut out to a desired length from a long material (not shown) obtained by extruding aluminum, and the end surface (30a) of the rear frame component piece (30) is the rear surface. It is inclined about 45 degrees with respect to the longitudinal direction of the frame component piece (30). Thereby, the adjacent rear frame constituent pieces (30), (30), and (30) can be connected substantially orthogonally to each other.
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of FIG. 1 taken along the plane including the line BB. The rear frame component piece (30) includes a plurality of fins (33) and (34) in multiple stages, and a sealing plate (4) covers the rear opening (31) of the rear frame (3). Thereby, since the rear cabinet (11) is sealed, it is possible to prevent water or the like from entering the rear cabinet (11). Further, since the metal rear frame (3) provided with the fins (33) is exposed outward, the rear cabinet (11) is sealed by the rear frame (3) and the sealing plate (4). However, the heat from the rear cabinet (11) is radiated outward.

As shown in FIG. 3, in the front cabinet (10), a transparent cover plate (50) is attached in front of the panel unit (5) which is an image receiving unit. The cover plate (50) is made of glass or acrylic, and protects the panel unit (5) from scratches and has a waterproof effect. In other words, compared to the configuration in which the front surface of the panel unit (5) is exposed, the cover plate (50) can prevent water from entering the front cabinet (10), and has a high waterproof effect.

As described above, the rear opening (31) of the rear frame (3) covers the sealing plate (4) to seal the rear cabinet (11). Internal pressure regulating valves (5) and (5) are provided apart from each other at two locations on the sealing plate (4), and the internal pressure regulating valves (5) (5) ( In the vicinity of 5), humidity control materials (7) and (7) having a moisture absorbing action are attached. The reason why the internal pressure regulating valves (5) and (5) are provided is to alleviate the atmospheric pressure change in the cabinet (2) as described above. Further, the mounting position of the humidity control materials (7) and (7) is not limited to the position shown in FIG.

FIG. 4 is an enlarged sectional view of the internal pressure regulating valve (5). A cap (8) is covered on the upper surface of the valve body (50), and air inflow holes (80, 80) are formed on the side surface of the cap (8). The lower end portion of the valve body (50) is screwed into the nut (85) inside the sealing plate (4) and attached to the sealing plate (4). A vent hole (51) having an open lower surface is formed at the center of the valve body (50) in the planar direction, and the upper surface of the vent hole (51) forms a mesh portion (52). A ventilation filter (6) is placed on the mesh portion (52), and the ventilation filter (6) allows air and water vapor to pass but does not allow water to pass. An O-ring (53) is fitted to the peripheral portion of the valve body (50) to enhance the adhesion with the sealing plate (4).
Air inside the cabinet (2) is discharged to the outside of the cabinet (2) through the vent hole (51), the mesh portion (52), the vent filter (6), and the hole (80). Similarly, the outside air of the cabinet (2) enters the inside of the cabinet (2) through the hole (80), the ventilation filter (6), the mesh point (52), and the ventilation hole (51). At this time, although it is a minute amount, the water vapor passes through the ventilation filter (6) and enters the inside of the cabinet (2).

When the outside temperature of the cabinet (2) is lowered, the rear frame (3) is made of aluminum having an endothermic effect, so the inside of the cabinet (2) is drastically lowered. Naturally the relative humidity increases. As is well known, the relative humidity is the amount of water vapor in the air divided by the amount of water vapor that the air can contain. Therefore, if the relative humidity exceeds 100%, the amount exceeding the saturated water vapor amount is dew condensation. Become.
Therefore, the moisture conditioner (7) absorbs water vapor and lowers the relative humidity to prevent condensation. Due to the combination of the humidity control material (7) and the internal pressure regulating valve (5), the change in the internal pressure of the cabinet (2) is slight and the airtightness is maintained even when the external temperature is lowered.

There is a limit to the amount of moisture absorbed by the humidity control material (7). However, when the television receiver is energized and the internal temperature of the cabinet (2) increases, the relative humidity decreases. At this time, the humidity control material (7) releases moisture contained therein. Further, when the humidity outside the cabinet (2) is low, the internal pressure regulating valve (5) also has a function of releasing moisture inside the cabinet (2) to the outside of the cabinet (2).
As described above, the combination of the humidity control material (7) and the internal pressure regulating valve (5) has an effect of keeping the air-tightness outdoors for a long time and suppressing the condensation inside the cabinet (2) for a long time.

Various humidity control materials (7) are conceivable. As an example, the applicant has proposed a sheet in which a synthetic rubber compounded with a superabsorbent polymer is wrapped with a nonwoven fabric. The water absorption absorbs 0.6 g of water per gram and the specific gravity is 1.3, but is not limited to this physical property.
When the manufacturer of the moisture conditioning material (7) conducted a periodic steady moisture absorption and desorption test by the moisture absorption and desorption test method (humidity measurement method) of JIS A1470-1 moisture control building material, the weight change indicating the moisture absorption and desorption state Was stable, and it was confirmed that the performance particularly in the high humidity region was excellent.
In addition, when a moisture absorption / release test was performed by the manufacturer of the humidity control material (7) using the moisture absorption / release test method (sealed box method) of JIS A1470-2 humidity control building material, It was confirmed that the temperature and humidity changes were well followed.
