本発明は、計量キャップに関し、特に容器本体の口首部に取り付けられた液回収用凹部を有する本体キャップに着脱可能に装着される計量キャップに関する。

【従来の技術】
内容液として例えば液体洗剤等を収容する容器は、これらの内容液を計量しつつ使用される場合があり、計量用のカップ等を別途に用いることが煩わしいことから、キャップとして内容液を計量する機能を備えた計量キャップを、例えば合成樹脂製のボトル容器等の口首部に装着して使用されることになる。計量キャップは、目盛り等を備えていて、内容液の種類や使用量に応じて適量を容易に計量することができるようになっている他、計量した内容液を注ぎ出した後に、再び計量キャップを口首部に装着する際に、液だれが生じないようにする必要がある。

口首部への再装着時に液だれが生じないように工夫した計量キャップとしては、例えば、計量キャップの注ぎ口を上方から挿入可能な液回収用の凹部を有する本体キャップを口首部に取り付け、この液回収用の凹部に注ぎ口部を挿入させつつ計量キャップを本体キャップに装着するようにしたものが知られている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。また、注ぎ口の開口周縁部分をラッパ口形状に形成して、液切れが良好となるようにしたものも開示されている(例えば、特許文献2、特許文献3参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の計量キャップは、主として射出成形によって形成される合成樹脂製のキャップであったため、成形時の金型の抜き易さ等から、計量キャップの液溜め部分の断面形状は、注ぎ口部の断面形状に制約され、これと同等かこれより小さい形状とする必要があった。したがって、上記従来の注ぎ口部を容器の口首部や本体キャップの内側に挿入配置するようにした計量キャップによれば、計量可能な量を増大するべく、液溜め部分の容量を増やそうとした場合、注ぎ口部と同等の断面で、計量キャップの口首部からの突出長さを大きくする必要があり、高さ方向にかさばることになると共に、外観上不安定な印象を与えやすくなる。また、計量キャップの注ぎ口部を横断方向に拡径して容量を増大しようとすると、注ぎ口部が挿入される口首部や本体キャップもまた横断方向に拡径する必要が生じて、容器や本体キャップを形成する際に使用する樹脂の量が増えることになる。

さらに、計量キャップの注ぎ口部を横断方向に拡径することに伴ない、容器の口首部の径も大きくなるため口首部の径の寸法が不安定になり、品質面での不具合(液モレ、嵌合外れ等)を生じる虞れがあった。

これに対し、例えば計量キャップの成形方法等を工夫することにより、本体キャップの液回収用凹部に挿入配置される液戻し筒部の上方に当該液戻し筒部の内径よりも大きな内径を備える液溜め膨出部を設け、これによって計量キャップの口首部からの突出長さを大きくすることなく、また本体キャップを横断方向に拡径することなく計量可能な容量を増やすようにした計量キャップが、本願出願人の出願に係る特願2002−377863号に記載されているが、計量のし易さや成形のし易さをさらに改良すると共に、清掃性の向上、製造価格の安さ、容量のさらなる増大をもたらす計量キャップの開発が要望されている。

本発明は、口首部からの突出長さを過度に大きくすることなく、且つ本体キャップを横断方向に拡径することなく液溜め部分の容量を増大して、計量キャップによって計量可能な容量を容易に増やすことができると共に、計量のし易さや成形のし易さを向上させ、且つ清掃性の向上、製造価格の安さ、容量のさらなる増大をもたらすことのできる計量キャップを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、容器本体の口首部に取り付けられた液回収用凹部を有する本体キャップに着脱可能に装着される計量キャップであって、先端の注ぎ口を下方に向けて、装着時に前記本体キャップの液回収用凹部に挿入配置される液戻し筒部と、該液戻し筒部と連接して前記液回収用凹部の上方に配置される、液戻し筒部の内径よりも大きな内径を備える液溜め膨出部とを有しており、且つ前記液溜め膨出部と前記液戻し筒部との接続部が、前記液戻し筒部に向けて斜めに延設してその内径を徐々に縮径させていると共に、装着時にその外周面の一部を前記液回収用凹部の上端部内周面に密着せさている計量キャップを提供することにより、上記目的を達成したものである。

ここで、上記記載において、液戻し筒部の内径と比較される液溜め膨出部の内径は、当該液溜め膨出部における胴部の内径を意味するものであり、当該胴部において、液戻し筒部の内径よりも内径が大きい部分を少なくとも一部に有していれば良い。また、内径は、液戻し筒部又は液溜め膨出部の断面形状が円形である場合にはこれの直径を意味し、円形以外のものである場合には、当該断面形状の断面二次半径の2倍を意味するものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1に示す本発明の好ましい実施形態に係る計量キャップ10は、例えば内容液として液体洗剤や柔軟剤、糊剤等を収容する合成樹脂製のボトル容器の口首部11に着脱可能に装着されると共に、外周面又は内周面に目盛り等が描かれていて、適量の液体洗剤を計量して洗濯機等に投入することのできる機能を備えている。

また、本実施形態によれば、ボトル容器を構成する容器本体12の上端部から突出して設けられた口首部11には、液回収用凹部20を有する本体キャップ13が取り付けられており、この本体キャップ13に螺合装着されることにより、計量キャップ10は、当該本体キャップ13を介して口首部11に着脱可能に装着されることになる。なお、本実施形態によれば、口首部11の内径D1は、例えばφ32.0mmとなっている。

スカート壁部22は、その下端部内周面に係合用凹凸部28を有しており、本体キャップ13をボトル容器の口首部11に押し込んで、この係合用凹凸部28を口首部11の基端部外周面に形成した被係合用凹凸部29に係止することにより、本体キャップ13がボトル容器の口首部11に装着固定される。また、雄ネジ壁部24の雄ネジ25には、後述する計量キャップ10のスカート状の環状壁30に形成された雌ネジ31が螺合され、また雄ネジ壁部24は、受け皿部27と共にその内側に液回収用凹部20を形成する。

受け皿部27は、ボトル容器の口首部11の内側に挿入配置される椀状部分であって、これの斜めに傾斜する底面板26には、その最も低い部分に位置して液戻し開口32か形成されている。そして計量キャップ10を再装着した際に、計量キャップ10から液回収用凹部20に回収された余剰液を、この液戻し開口32を介して容器本体12の内部に戻すことができるようになっている。また、底面板26の周縁部分から離れた中央部分には、当該底面板26から雄ネジ壁部24の上方まで突出させて注出ノズル21が設けられている。注出ノズル21は、その基端部において底面板26に開口形成した流出開口33と連通しており、計量キャップ10の注ぎ口14よりも断面形状が小さくなった先端注出口34を介して、計量キャップ10に液体洗剤をスムーズに注出することができるようになっている。

本実施形態によれば、本体キャップ13を介して口首部11に装着される計量キャップ10は、例えば透明な合成樹脂を射出成形して形成される下方部材18と上方部材19との2部材で構成されている。下方部材18及び上方部材19は、いずれも、射出成形時に金型を容易に抜くことができるように設計された形状を有している。下方部材18及び上方部材19は、成形後に環状接合部17を介して接合一体化することによって、装着時に本体キャップ13の液回収用凹部20に挿入配置される液戻し筒部15と、液戻し筒部15と連接一体化されて本体キャップ13の上方に配置される液溜め膨出部16とを備える計量キャップ10を構成することになる。

下方部材18は、内径D2が例えばφ26.6mmとなった円筒状部分である液戻し筒部15と、この液戻し筒部15の基端部から液溜め膨出部16に向けてその内径を徐々に拡径させつつ斜めに延設する部分を備える接続部35とを有しており、また接続部35の基端部から外側に張り出した環状リブ43の外周縁部から垂下されて、内周面に雌ネジ31を有するスカート状の環状壁30が、液戻し筒部15と同心状に設けられている。このスカート状の環状壁30を、外周面に雄ネジ25が設けられた本体キャップ13の雄ネジ壁部24に螺合することによって、計量キャップ10が口首部11に着脱可能に装着される。なお、環状壁30の雌ネジ31を介して計量キャップ10を本体キャップ13に螺合装着することにより、注ぎ口14から液戻し筒部15の外周面に液体洗剤が液だれした場合でも、当該液体洗剤が雌ネジ31に付着するのを効果的に回避できると共に、計量キャップ10を着脱する際に指が汚れるのを回避することが可能になる。

液戻し筒部15は、環状リブ43の下面が本体キャップ13の雄ネジ壁部24の上端に当接するまで計量キャップ10を螺合装着した際に、先端の注ぎ口14が受け皿部27の底面板26の近くに配置される長さで設けられている。また、計量キャップ10が本体キャップ13に螺合装着された際に、注ぎ口14の開口周縁部分は、液回収用凹部20の下部において受け皿部27の内周面に形成された当接段差部36と密着当接するようになっており、これによって、収容された液体洗剤等が、液戻し筒部15の外側の液回収用凹部20との間の隙間に回り込むのを防止するシール機能を、効果的に発揮するようになっている。さらに、液戻し筒部15とこれに連接する接続部35には、外周面又は内周面に、計量用の目盛りが適宜描かれている。

本実施形態によれば、内用液(液体洗剤等)を計量キャップ10で計量した後に本体キャップ13に挿入された液戻し筒部15は、小さな起伏で内側に傾かせた形状となっているので、液溜め膨張部16を含めた計量キャップ10の内壁面に付着している内容液を、本体キャップ13を経由して容器本体12の内部に容易に戻すことが可能になる。また、液戻し筒部15は、その注ぎ口14の開口周縁部分が当接段差部36と密着して下方シール面を構成し、本体キャップ13への上方シール面37と共に2重にシールすることが可能になっているので、液漏れをより確実に防止することが可能になる。さらに、液戻し筒部15の外周部分には、環状壁30による雌ネジ31が形成されており、環状壁30の雌ネジ31と液戻し筒部15とが一体となって本体キャップ15に嵌着(螺合)されることにより、摩擦や内容液の付着等によって液戻し筒部15の嵌合が緩くなるのを回避して、計量キャップ10の落下をより効果的に防止することが可能になる。

なお、本実施形態によれば、液戻し筒部15の注ぎ口14の先端の開口周縁部分は、図2に示すように、外側に折り返すように湾曲するラッパ口形状を備えるように形成することもできる。すなわち、本実施形態によれば、液戻し筒部15が設けられる下方部材18は、例えば射出成形時に金型を容易に抜くことができるように設計された形状を有していることから、このようなラッパ口形状を注ぎ口14の開口周縁部分に容易に形成することが可能になる。また注ぎ口14の先端の開口周縁部分がラッパ口形状となっていることにより、計量キャップ10から液体洗剤等を注ぎ出した後の開口周縁部分における液切れが確実かつ容易に行われることになり、これによって液体洗剤等の回り込みをさらに効果的に回避することが可能になると共に、周辺部分を汚損することもない。さらに、汚れなどの付着した部分には塗布しやすくなり、必要な箇所に適量塗布することが可能になる。

接続部35は、図1にも示すように、液溜め膨出部16と液戻し筒部15との間に介在してこれらを接続する部分であって、戻し筒部15の基端部から斜めに延設する傾斜部35aと、環状リブ43に近接する部分において垂直に延設する垂直部35bとからなり、垂直部35bの外周面が、計量キャップ10の装着時に液回収用凹部20の上端部内周面と密着する上方シール面37を構成している。この上方シール面37と環状壁30の内側面との間に本体キャップ13の雄ネジ壁部24の上端部を挟み込みようにしつつ、計量キャップ10が本体キャップ13に装着されることになる。

なお、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されることなく種々の変更が可能である。例えば、計量キャップの液戻し筒部や液溜め膨出部は円筒形状のものである必要は必ずしもなく、また雄ネジや雌ネジを介して本体キャップに螺合装着されるものである必要は必ずしもない。さらに、容器本体に収容される内容液は、液体洗剤、柔軟剤、糊剤等の他、計量を必要とするその他の種々の液体製品であっても良い。さらにまた、計量キャップは、射出成形によって形成した下方部材と上方部材とを環状接合部を介して接合一体化したものである必要は必ずしもなく、環状接合部は、例えば下方部材の上端部に上方部材をネジ嵌合するものであっても良い。

【発明の効果】
本発明の計量キャップによれば、口首部からの突出長さを過度に大きくすることなく、且つ本体キャップを横断方向に拡径することなく液溜め部分の容量を増大して、計量キャップによって計量可能な容量を容易に増やすことができると共に、計量のし易さや成形のし易さを向上させることができる。

容器本体の口首部に取り付けられた液回収用凹部を有する本体キャップに着脱可能に装着される計量キャップであって、
先端の注ぎ口を下方に向けて、装着時に前記本体キャップの液回収用凹部に挿入配置される液戻し筒部と、該液戻し筒部と連接して前記液回収用凹部の上方に配置される、液戻し筒部の内径よりも大きな内径を備える液溜め膨出部とを有しており、
且つ前記液溜め膨出部と前記液戻し筒部との間に介在してこれらを接続する接続部が、前記液溜め膨出部から前記液戻し筒部に向けて斜めに延設してその内径を徐々に縮径させていると共に、前記液溜め膨出部に近接する部分において垂直に延設する垂直部を備えており、該垂直部の外周面が、装着時に前記液回収用凹部の上端部内周面と密着するシール面を構成している計量キャップ。
