Claims (12)
- ある期間について無線ネットワークのネットワークアロケーションベクトルをサンプリングすることと、

第2タイプの無線ネットワークでの前記計算された無線ネットワークサービス品質尺度が第1タイプの無線ネットワークでの観察された無線ネットワークサービス品質より高い場合に、前記第1タイプの無線ネットワークから前記第2タイプの無線ネットワークへの垂直ハンドオフを開始することとを備えることを特徴とするコンピュータ実施された方法。 - ネットワークアロケーションベクトル占有に関して前記無線ネットワークサービス品質尺度を計算することは、ネットワークアロケーションベクトル占有の線形関数として前記無線ネットワークサービス品質尺度を計算することを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 低いネットワークアロケーションベクトル占有は、高い無線ネットワークサービス品質尺度に対応し、高いネットワークアロケーションベクトル占有は、低い無線ネットワークサービス品質尺度に対応することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記無線ネットワークサービス品質尺度は、前記無線ネットワーク内の推定残余帯域幅を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 高いレベルのネットワークアロケーションベクトル占有は、前記無線ネットワーク内のゼロの推定残余帯域幅に対応することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記無線ネットワークサービス品質尺度は、無線媒体アクセス制御伝送遅延を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- ネットワークアロケーションベクトル占有に関して前記無線ネットワークサービス品質尺度を計算することは、ネットワークアロケーションベクトル占有対無線ネットワークサービス品質尺度ルックアップテーブル内で前記無線ネットワークサービス品質尺度をルックアップすることを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1タイプの無線ネットワークは、無線広域ネットワークであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2タイプの無線ネットワークは、無線ローカルエリアネットワークであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第2タイプの無線ネットワークは、無線ローカルエリアネットワークであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2タイプの無線ネットワークへの無線ネットワークインターフェースで受信された信号強度が減少していると判定され、前記第2タイプの無線ネットワークへの無線ネットワークインターフェースで受信された信号強度のサンプルの算術平均が最小動作信号強度閾値未満である場合に、前記第2タイプの無線ネットワークから前記第1タイプの無線ネットワークへの垂直ハンドオフを開始することをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法を実行するコンピュータ実行可能命令を記録したことを特徴とするコンピュータ可読媒体。
