当該パッキン(1)における少なくとも摺動面側の軸方向両端部にそれぞれ断面直線状の面取り部(4)を設け、前記面取り部(4)の軸方向内側にそれぞれ断面直線状のテーパー部(5)を設け、前記面取り部(4)が中心軸線となす角度をα、前記テーパー部(5)が中心軸線となす角度をβ1として、

の関係を充足する尖角状のリップ端(6)を前記面取り部(4)およびテーパー部(5)間に設け、
前記軸方向一対のテーパー部(5)間に断面円弧状を呈するグリース溜まり用の溝部(7)を設け、前記テーパー部(5)が中心軸線となす角度をβ1、前記溝部(7)がその軸方向端部において中心軸線となす角度をβ2として、
