Description
前記雑草刈払い工程においては、前記水田の稲の前記出穂期前28〜14日に第1回目の雑草刈払いが行われ、前記第1回目の雑草刈払いから14〜28日経過後に第2回目の雑草刈払いが行われ、
前記収穫工程においては、畦畔に隣接する水田の外周部である第1領域と、この第1領域の内側である第2領域とに区分され、前記第1及び前記2領域における稲がそれぞれ別個に稲刈り収穫され、
前記色彩選別工程においては、前記第1領域において稲刈り収穫された玄米から前記色彩選別機によって前記斑点玄米が色彩選別され、前記色彩選別工程により前記斑点玄米が除かれた玄米と前記第2領域における稲が稲刈り収穫された玄米とが混合されることを特徴とする。
また、本発明の請求項4に記載の米の生産方法では、前記色彩選別工程においては、前記第1領域において稲刈り収穫された玄米からカメムシ被害による前記斑点玄米が色彩選別されることを特徴とする。
特に、この雑草刈払い工程においては、稲の出穂期前28〜14日に第1回目の雑草刈払いが行われ、この第1回目の刈払いから14〜28日経過後に第2回目の雑草刈払いが行われるので、稲の出穂期の前後約5〜7週間にわたって畦畔にイネ科雑草の穂が少ない状態をつくることができる。従って、斑点米カメムシ類が畦畔のイネ科雑草に集まることを防ぐことができ、これによって、畦畔のイネ科雑草の穂と水田の稲の穂との間を斑点米カメムシ類が往復移動することを防止し、化学合成農薬を用いることなく、斑点米カメムシ類による被害を少なくすることができる。
次に、実施例として雑草刈払いを2回行った場合の畦畔のイネ科雑草(メヒシバ類、ノビエ、エノコログサ類)の畦畔1m2当たりの穂数、畦畔及び水田内の斑点米カメムシ類(アカスジカスミカメ、ホソハリカメムシ、クモヘリカメムシ及びその他カメムシ類)の総個体数及び水田の稲への斑点玄米の混入率と、雑草刈払いを1回しか行わなかった場合のものとを調べた。耕作した稲の種類はコシヒカリであった。

- 畦畔に生えた雑草を刈払いする雑草刈払い工程と、出穂した稲を稲刈りして収穫する収穫工程と、前記収穫工程によって得られた玄米から斑点を有する斑点玄米を色彩選別機によって色彩選別する色彩選別工程と、を有する米の生産方法において、
前記雑草刈払い工程においては、前記水田の稲の前記出穂期前28〜14日に第1回目の雑草刈払いが行われ、前記第1回目の雑草刈払いから14〜28日経過後に第2回目の雑草刈払いが行われ、
前記収穫工程においては、畦畔に隣接する水田の外周部である第1領域と、この第1領域の内側である第2領域とに区分され、前記第1及び前記2領域における稲がそれぞれ別個に稲刈り収穫され、
前記色彩選別工程においては、前記第1領域において稲刈り収穫された玄米から前記色彩選別機によって前記斑点玄米が色彩選別され、前記色彩選別工程により前記斑点玄米が除かれた玄米と前記第2領域における稲が稲刈り収穫された玄米とが混合されることを特徴とする米の生産方法。 - 前記雑草刈払い工程においては、前記第1回目の雑草刈払いが前記出穂期前23〜19日に行われ、前記第2回目の雑草刈払いが前記第1回目の雑草刈払いの後19〜23日に行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の米の生産方法。
- 前記第1領域は、前記水田の外周部に帯状に設けられ、前記帯状領域の幅が2〜5mであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の米の生産方法。
- 前記色彩選別工程においては、前記第1領域において稲刈り収穫された玄米からカメムシ被害による前記斑点玄米が色彩選別されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の米の生産方法。
