【0033】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a substrate for inkjet printing and a method for producing the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, paper and films have been used for inkjet printing substrates. In the paper and film used as the base material for inkjet printing, for the purpose of preventing blurring and improving the printability by improving the color developability, fillers such as clay, calcium carbonate, talc, etc., starch, polyvinyl Surface treatment may be performed with a coating liquid composed of a composition with a paste such as alcohol, and as a result, those having excellent printability have been developed.
However, paper and film are easy to break and easily torn or torn. In particular, since paper is not premised on getting wet with water or the like, it is inferior in water resistance, and as it is, it is limited to indoor use of OA paper or the like, and its use is limited.
[0003]
In order to solve this problem, an inkjet printing base material using a fiber fabric has been studied. However, since the fiber fabric has a coarse fiber structure, it has poor smoothness and unevenness compared to paper and film, and is not well suited for printing. Furthermore, ink droplets by the ink jet method penetrate from one point to a wide peripheral area by capillarity, but the substrate for ink jet printing using a fiber fabric has a tendency to penetrate into the inside and is rather printable. It was sometimes reduced.
Further, since the fiber fabric is generally soft, it is difficult to perform ink-jet printing without providing a support such as paper and film having hardness, elasticity, and stiffness, and the fiber fabric is pressed by pressure during ink-jet printing. Movement and print position were sometimes shifted. In addition, depending on the fiber fabric, there is a case where a back-through phenomenon occurs in which the ink passes through the fiber fabric from the printing surface to the back surface thereof, and the fiber fabric that can be used is limited.
For this reason, when printing on fiber fabrics, it is common to perform screen printing that is not easily affected by unevenness. At that time, an ink having a certain degree of high viscosity in which a pigment or a dye is mixed with a base paste and a binder is used. By using it, measures such as preventing penetration (crying phenomenon) due to capillary action have been taken. Further, since screen printing is performed in a state of being attached to a table or a belt, it is not affected by the fact that the hardness, stiffness and stiffness of the fiber fabric are small. However, in screen printing, it is necessary to prepare a screen by making a plate by tracing or the like, a complicated process must be performed, and a mechanical device becomes large.
[0004]
By the way, even if the fiber fabric has a smooth surface appearance, hardness, firmness, and stiffness similar to those of paper and film, improvement for preventing bleeding and improving printability is required.
As the improvement method, for example, a technique in which a fiber liquid is coated with a resin liquid in which a porous fine powder is blended with a polyurethane resin and wet coagulated is disclosed (Patent Document 1). In addition, a technique of impregnating or coating a resin liquid containing gas phase method silica in which primary particles have a network structure or a chain shape is disclosed (Patent Document 2).
In addition, for the purpose of enhancing the smoothness of the surface, it is conceivable to apply the following paper technology to a fiber fabric. That is, after forming a resin layer corresponding to the ink absorption layer, a synthetic paper technique (Patent Document 3) in which a smooth film is overlapped in the middle of drying and the smooth film is peeled off after drying, a light calcium carbonate-containing resin. A technique for neutral paper in which a mirror-finished cylindrical outer surface is press-contacted after cast coating (Patent Document 4). Further, Japanese paper or campus technology (Patent Document 5) in which a resin layer corresponding to an ink absorption layer composed of at least two layers is formed is applied.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the technique described in Patent Document 1 or Patent Document 2, since the resin liquid is impregnated or directly coated, the resin liquid penetrates from the fiber surface to the inside. For example, if the fiber fabric has a smooth surface. Although the blur prevention and the printability are improved, when a fiber fabric having unevenness is used, the surface unevenness remains even if the resin liquid is soaked, and printing is difficult. In addition, the back-through phenomenon of thin fiber fabrics cannot be solved, and usable fiber fabrics are limited. Further, when the coating is thick to suppress the phenomenon of back-through, the characteristics of the fiber fabric are impaired.
In addition, when the resin liquid is directly coated or cast coated, the resin liquid is likely to penetrate from the fiber surface to the inside. Therefore, even if the smooth surface is pressed as in the techniques of Patent Documents 3 and 4, the unevenness is large. It has been difficult to smooth the surface of a substrate for inkjet printing using a fiber fabric or a thin fiber fabric through which ink passes, and the resin layer serves as a support in the thin fiber fabric. There was no fulfillment. In addition, as in the technique of Patent Document 5, providing an ink absorption layer composed of two or more layers not only increases the number of processes, but also causes a problem that the ink back-through phenomenon cannot be solved when a thin fiber fabric is used. Had. That is, it has been difficult to apply the techniques described in Patent Documents 3 to 5 to the manufacture of a substrate for inkjet printing using a fiber fabric.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and is not easily torn, difficult to tear, hardly folds, has excellent water resistance, and does not impair fiber characteristics, and can be used indoors and outdoors. An object of the present invention is to provide an ink-jet printing substrate that is excellent in printability in an ink-jet system, and can be used as a fiber cloth, which can be an uneven fiber cloth or a thin fiber cloth that allows ink to pass through. . Furthermore, it aims at providing the manufacturing method.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The substrate for inkjet printing of the present invention has a fiber fabric and an ink absorption layer bonded to at least one surface of the fiber fabric, and the ink absorption layer is A polyurethane resin or a polyolefin resin, and A base material for inkjet printing containing an inorganic powder or an organic powder,
Fiber fabric and ink absorbing layer Through glue It is characterized by being laminated.
In the ink jet printing substrate of the present invention, the ink absorbing layer may further contain a pigment.
[0009]
Claim of this application 3 The manufacturing method of the substrate for inkjet printing is A polyurethane resin or a polyolefin resin, and A step of applying an ink absorption layer by applying a resin liquid containing an inorganic powder or an organic powder on a release sheet; and applying an adhesive on the ink absorption layer. It has the process of bonding a fiber fabric on an absorption layer, and the process of peeling a release sheet, It is characterized by the above-mentioned.
Claim of this application 4 The manufacturing method of the substrate for inkjet printing is A polyurethane resin or a polyolefin resin, and Applying a resin liquid containing an inorganic powder or an organic powder on a release sheet to form an ink absorbing layer, and applying an adhesive on the fiber cloth, and then using the adhesive on the fiber cloth And a step of attaching the ink absorbing layer to the substrate and a step of peeling the release sheet.
[0010]
In the present invention, the ink absorption layer (in the present invention, the resin layer forming the ink absorption layer serves as both an ink absorption layer and a support layer. The object is achieved by obtaining a base material for ink jet printing by laminating a fiber cloth and a fiber fabric together.
That is, when an ink absorption layer is formed by impregnation or direct coating, for example, when the fiber cloth has irregularities, the resin liquid that also serves as the ink absorption layer remains uneven on the surface of the fiber cloth. Penetrates inside. As a result, in the cross section of the base material for inkjet printing, the thickness of the ink absorption layer and the fiber fabric layer varies depending on the location, so that the so-called residence is not clear.
On the other hand, the present invention is a method in which a smooth ink absorbing layer (resin layer) is formed in advance and bonded to the fiber fabric, so that the reason for living becomes clear, and the resin layer that is the ink absorbing layer has The fiber fabric can also be supported by serving as a support. As a result, even if the fiber fabric has unevenness, even if it is a thin fiber fabric that allows ink to pass through, it is as smooth as paper and film, and can be used for inkjet printing. Since movement due to pressure is prevented and the printing place is fixed, it can be applied to any fiber fabric.

In addition, the above-described fibers may contain various additives and processing agents that are usually used in order to improve productivity and fiber characteristics in the production process and processing process of the raw yarn. Examples of such additives and processing agents include heat stabilizers, antioxidants, light stabilizers, smoothing agents, antistatic agents, plasticizers, adhesives, pigments, flame retardants, flame retardants, and the like. .

Here, the inorganic powder and the organic powder are not particularly limited, but are preferably a porous inorganic powder or organic powder in order to improve ink absorbability. Examples of the porous inorganic powder include silica (synthetic silica, natural silica), clay, talc, calcium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, titanium oxide and the like. In particular, if synthetic silica having a constant particle diameter and pore diameter is used, print reproducibility is high.
As the organic powder, for example, powder of cellulose, nylon, polyamino acid or the like can be used. Among these, cellulose powder is particularly preferable because it absorbs a large amount of ink and has excellent color developability.
[0015]
The particle size of the porous inorganic powder and organic powder is preferably 0.5 to 30 μm. If it is less than 0.5 μm, the whitening phenomenon of the printed matter may be too strong, and if it exceeds 30 μm, processing defects are likely to occur, which may cause problems in workability.
The content of the inorganic powder or organic powder varies depending on the type and combination of the powder, but is 5 to 120% by mass with respect to the mass of the resin (solid content) in the

Furthermore, it is possible to use a fiber fabric that has conventionally required backing to improve strength, printability and workability without backing. In particular, even in the case of a fiber fabric having irregularities and a thin fiber fabric through which ink passes, an ink absorption layer that is as smooth as paper and film can be formed by laminating, and the printability is improved. In addition, since movement due to pressure during ink jet printing is suppressed and the printing place is fixed, it can be used as a base material for ink jet printing, and more types of fiber fabrics can be applied. .

Subsequently, it was washed with hot water at 80 ° C. for 10 minutes, dried with hot air, and then heat-treated at 150 ° C. for 2 minutes to obtain a substrate for inkjet printing. At that time, the thickness of the ink absorbing layer after drying was set to 10 μm. Table 1 shows the evaluation results of the base material for ink jet printing thus obtained.
[0040]
[Example 2] (Laminated fiber fabric with unevenness)
Made of polyester fiber of 200 denier / 72 filaments, with a basis weight of 190 g / cm 2 The polyester twill fabric was scoured with a nonionic surfactant and heat treated at 180 ° C. for 1 minute. This polyester twill fabric had irregularities.
Next, a mixed solvent of silica powder (average particle size 9 μm) 12.5 parts (manufactured by Fuji Silysia), polyurethane resin 20 parts, N, N-dimethylformamide 30 parts and toluene 50 parts (hereinafter referred to as DMF / TOL). ) An inorganic powder-containing polyurethane resin solution comprising 100 parts was prepared. Next, this inorganic powder-containing polyurethane resin liquid was applied onto a release paper with a comma coater and dried at 120 ° C. for 3 minutes to obtain an ink absorbing layer as a resin layer. The ink absorbing layer had a thickness of 30 μm and an inorganic powder content of 60%.
[0041]
Next, an adhesive solution consisting of 30 parts of a two-component polyurethane resin, 12 parts of a crosslinking agent isocyanate, and 58 parts of methyl ethyl ketone was prepared. Then, this adhesive solution was applied on the ink absorbing layer with a comma coater so as to have a thickness of 15 μm, and dried at 120 ° C. for 3 minutes to form an adhesive layer. Next, a polyester twill fabric was bonded onto the adhesive layer and thermocompression bonded at a temperature of 120 ° C. and a pressure of 0.4 MPa to obtain a laminated sheet.
The obtained laminated sheet was allowed to stand in a room heated to 60 ° C. for 24 hours to sufficiently cure the adhesive, and then the release paper was peeled off from the ink absorbing layer to obtain an inkjet printing substrate. . Table 1 shows the evaluation results of the base material for ink jet printing thus obtained.
[0042]
[Comparative Example 3] (Direct coating on uneven fiber fabric)
A silica powder-containing urethane resin solution was directly applied to the same polyester twill fabric as in Example 2 with a comma coater, and dried at 120 ° C. to form an ink absorbing layer to obtain a substrate for inkjet printing. At that time, the thickness of the ink absorbing layer after drying was set to 15 μm. Table 1 shows the evaluation results of the base material for ink jet printing thus obtained.
[0043]
[Comparative Example 4] (wet coated on uneven fiber fabric)
A silica powder-containing urethane resin solution was directly applied to the same polyester twill fabric as in Example 2 with a comma coater, then immersed in water (20 ° C.) and allowed to gel for 10 minutes.
[0044]
Since the base materials for inkjet printing of Examples 1 and 2 are produced by laminating, even when a thin fiber fabric is used (Example 1), when a fiber fabric having irregularities is used ( Even in Example 2), an ink absorbing layer having a smooth surface was provided, and the printability was excellent. Further, since the ink absorbing layer could be made thin, it was flexible and was excellent in abrasion and stagnation.
On the other hand, since the inkjet printing base materials of Comparative Examples 1 and 2 using a thin fiber fabric were not prepared by laminating, the ink passed through and was inferior in printability.
Moreover, since the base material for inkjet printing of Comparative Examples 3 and 4 using a fiber fabric having irregularities was not produced by laminating, the surface smoothness was low, the ink was blurred, and the printability was poor. .
[0045]
【The invention's effect】
According to the substrate for inkjet printing of the present invention, not only ink absorbability is improved and printability is improved, but also it is difficult to tear, torn, and not easily creased. And since it is excellent in water resistance, it is excellent in applicability regardless of the use environment indoors or outdoors. Moreover, since it is flexible, it has excellent mechanical properties such as sag resistance and friction resistance. Furthermore, even fiber fabrics having irregularities and thin fiber fabrics can be used, and more types of fiber fabrics can be applied.
Further, according to the method for producing a substrate for ink jet printing of the present invention, even a fiber fabric having unevenness and a thin fiber fabric can be used, and more types of fiber fabrics can be applied. Moreover, the surface becomes smooth and the printability can be improved. Moreover, the ink absorbing layer can be made thin, and the weight can be reduced without impairing the surface appearance and texture of the fiber fabric.
