所定の搬送方向に延びると共にその幅方向側面部に溝が形成された直動ベアリング用レールの前記溝を高周波熱処理する高周波熱処理方法において、
前記直動ベアリング用レールをその厚さ方向から矯正しながら搬送して前記溝を所定の焼入温度に誘導加熱し、この誘導加熱の直後に冷却し、
この冷却された直動ベアリング用レールをその厚さ方向から矯正しながら搬送して該直動ベアリング用レールを所定の焼戻温度に誘導加熱して焼戻しを施し、
この焼戻しが施された直動ベアリング用レールをその厚さ方向から矯正しながら搬送することを特徴とする高周波熱処理方法。

この第2上下矯正ローラ対よりも前記搬送方向下流側に配置された、前記溝を所定の焼戻温度に加熱する焼戻用誘導加熱コイルと、
前記直動ベアリング用レールをその厚さ方向から所定の圧力で挟んで矯正しながら前記搬送方向に搬送する、前記焼戻用誘導加熱コイルよりも前記搬送方向下流側に配置された第3上下矯正ローラ対とを備えたことを特徴とする高周波熱処理装置。
