Claims (11)
- a)支持体と
b)レーザ光を放出するための前記支持体上のレーザと、
c)モジュールから可変距離を隔てた空間における走査角範囲にわたって、各々が多数のピクセルを有する複数の走査線のパターンをスイープするための前記支持体上のスキャナと、
d)前記レーザ及び前記スキャナに作動関係で接続され、選択されたピクセルを前記レーザ光によって照射し可視化させて画像を生成するための制御装置と、
を備える、二次元画像を投射するための画像投射モジュールであって、
e)レーザ光をモジュールからの距離がゼロに近い位置でスポットサイズに合焦させる凸レンズ及び凹レンズからなる光学レンズ組立体が前記支持体上に設けられ、該光学レンズは、前記スポットサイズに対する前記可変距離の比が前記走査角範囲にわたり実質的に一定に維持されるように前記レーザ光を成形し、かつ、各ピクセルのサイズが、前記モジュールから前記画像までの前記可変距離の関数として、前記ゼロに近い位置からの距離の増加に従って線形に比例する関係で増加するようにすることを特徴とする画像投射モジュール。 - 前記支持体がプリント回路基板であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の画像投射モジュール。

- 前記走査速度の少なくとも1つが、可聴周波数を超えることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の画像投射モジュール。
- 前記走査ミラーの少なくとも1つが、慣性駆動装置によって振動させられることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の画像投射モジュール。

- 前記制御装置が、前記選択されたピクセルを可変輝度で照射するように前記レーザ光を変調して、グレー・スケールをもつ画像を生成するための手段を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の画像投射モジュール。
- 前記画像解像度が、各々の走査線について少なくとも160ピクセル、及び、少なくとも160走査線を解像可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の画像投射モジュール。
- 前記支持体、前記レーザ、前記スキャナ、前記制御装置及び前記光学系を合わせて、5立方センチメートルより小さい体積を占めることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の画像投射モジュール。
- 前記慣性駆動装置が、電力消費を1ワット未満にまで低減されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の画像投射モジュール。
