Description
各プラスチックシートを加熱する工程と、
前記加熱されたプラスチックシートをその周辺端部に沿って空気圧でクランプすると共に、当該シートを、それが各処理ラインに沿って移動する間、実質的に平坦な状態で真空により支持する工程と、
加熱された各プラスチックシートを、上向きをした成形用キャビティを有するそれぞれの成形用金型の上方に、当該シートを前記実質的に平坦な状態に空気圧で保持しながら位置付ける工程と、
前記加熱されたシートをそれぞれの金型へ降下する工程と、
各加熱されたシートを、成形用金型の上方に開いたキャビティに当該シートが付着するようにして、それぞれの殻を熱成形する工程と、
からなる主要工程を有し、さらに前記方法は、
成形用金型の一方およびその熱成形された殻を上下に転倒させる工程と、
前記転倒された金型を他方の上向きの金型に重ね合わせ、2つの、重ね合わされ熱成形された殻周辺部のシール領域を重ねる工程、および、
成形用金型のクランプ面の間の前記重ねられたシール領域を押圧することによって当該殻のシール領域を溶融し且つ密封溶着する工程とからなる追加的工程を有する。
前記第1および第2の成形用金型は、両方の成形用金型のキャビティが上向きに開口した状態で、並んで配置されており、
前記製造設備において、
各処理ラインは、前記プラスチックシートを周辺端部で把持するための空気圧作動の把持手段と加熱したプラスチックシートのための真空によるシート保持装置を有しており、前記空気圧による把持手段と真空によるシート保持装置は処理ラインに沿って移動可能であり、
また、加熱したプラスチックシートを実質的に平坦な状態で支持する前記真空保持装置用の真空制御手段を有しており、
さらに、一方の金型を他方の金型に重ね合わせるため上下を転倒させ、当該金型を押圧することにより前記熱成形された殻の重なったシール領域を溶着させるよう同調され準備する駆動手段を有する。
Claims (20)
- プラスチック製燃料タンクを対シート熱成形する方法であって、熱成形可能なプラスチック材料の第1および第2のシート(SA、SB)は、ローディングステーション(11A、11B)からそれぞれの熱成形ステーション(16A、16B)に至るそれぞれ第1(A)および第2(B)の処理ラインに沿って別々に加熱され、移動されるようになっており、前記方法は、
各プラスチックシート(SA、SB)を加熱する工程と、
前記加熱されたプラスチックシート(SA、SB)をその周辺端部に沿って空気圧でクランプすると共に、当該シート(SA、SB)を、それが各処理ライン(A、B)に沿って移動する間、真空度を調整することによって実質的に平坦な状態に真空支持する工程と、
加熱された各プラスチックシート(SA、SB)を、上向きをした成形用キャビティを有するそれぞれの成形用金型(17A、17B)の上方に、当該シート(SA、SB)を前記実質的に平坦な状態に空気圧で保持しながら位置付ける工程と、
前記加熱されたシート(SA、SB)をそれぞれの金型(17A、17B)へ降下する工程と、
各加熱されたシート(SA、SB)を、成形用金型(17A、17B)の上方に開いたキャビティに当該シート(SA、SB)が付着するようにして、それぞれの殻(GA、GB)に熱成形する工程と、
からなる主要工程を有し、さらに
前記方法は、
成形用金型(17A、17B)の一方(17B)およびその熱成形された殻(GB)を上下に転倒させる工程と、
前記転倒された金型(17B)を他方(17A)の上向きの金型(17A)に重ね合わせ、2つの、重ね合わされ熱成形された殻(GA、GB)周辺部のシール領域を重ねる工程、および、
成形用金型(17A、17B)のクランプ面の間の前記重ねられたシール領域を押圧することによって当該殻(GA、GB)のシール領域を溶融し且つ密封溶着する工程とからなる追加的工程を有する。 - 各プラスチックシート(SA、SB)を熱成形温度より低い第1の加熱温度に予熱する(12A、12B)工程と、前記シート(SA、SB)の加熱を、それが前記処理ライン(A、B)に沿って移動する間維持する工程を備えた請求項1記載の燃料タンクを対シート熱成形する方法。
- 前記加熱の間垂れ下がりを防止するため、前記シート(SA、SB)を支持するための真空度を制御および調整する工程を備えた、請求項1又は2いずれかに記載の燃料タンクを対シート熱成形する方法。
- 前記プラスチックシート(SA、SB)の熱成形前に、前記燃料タンク用の挿入品および/または部品を、前記金型の上向きのキャビティへ導入する工程を備えた、請求項1記載の燃料タンクを対シート熱成形する方法。
- 前記燃料タンク用の挿入品および/または部品を、前記金型(17A、17B)の上向きのキャビティを介して前記熱成形された殻(GA、GB)の中へ導入する工程を備えた、請求項1記載の燃料タンクを対シート熱成形する方法。
- 前記閉じた金型(17A、17B)を取り除きさらに前記処理ラインの外側で当該閉じた金型(17A、17B)の冷却を遂行する工程を備えた、請求項1記載の燃料タンクを対シート熱成形する方法。
- 第1と第2の対シートを熱成形した殻(GA、GB)からなるプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備であって、第1および第2の熱成形可能なプラスチックシート(SA、SB)は、ローディングステーション(11A、11B)から少なくとも1つの加熱ステーション(12A、14A、12B、14B)を通り、それぞれの熱成形ステーション(16A、16B)へ至るそれぞれ第1および第2の処理ライン(A、B)に沿って別々に加熱され、移動されるようになっており、前記熱成形ステーションでは、個々のプラスチックシート(SA、SB)は、それぞれ第1および第2の成形用金型(17A、17B)の中で第1および第2の殻(GA、GB)に熱成形されるようになっており、前記製造設備において、
前記第1および第2の成形用金型(17A、17B)は、両方の成形用金型(17A、17B)のキャビティが上向きに開口した状態で、並んで配置されており、
前記製造設備において、
各処理ライン(A、B)は、前記プラスチックシート(SA、SB)を周辺端部で把持するための空気吸込フレーム(24A、24B)と、加熱したプラスチックシート(SA、SB)を保持するために、真空チャンバー22を含む真空シート保持装置(15A、15B)を有しており、前記空気吸込フレーム(24A、24B)と真空シート保持装置(15A、15B)は処理ライン(A、B)に沿って移動可能であり、
また、加熱したプラスチックシート(SA、SB)を実質的に平坦な状態で支持するために、真空シート保持装置(15A、15B)の真空チャンバー22内の真空度を制御する調整可能真空源を含む真空制御手段を有しており、
さらに、一方の金型(17A、17B)を他方の金型(17A、17B)に重ね合わせるため上下を転倒させ、当該金型(17A、17B)によるシール面の圧力によって前記熱成形された殻(GA、GB)の重なったシール領域を溶着させるよう同調され準備する駆動手段(33)を有する。 - シートの予熱ステーション(12A、12B)を備えた、請求項7記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- シートの芯だしステーション(13A、13B)を備えた、請求項7記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- 前記シートの芯だしステーション(13A、13B)は、前記シートの予熱ステーション(12A、12B)の上流側に設けたことを特徴とする、請求項8又は9いずれかに記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- 前記芯だしステーション(13A、13B)は、前記予熱ステーション(12A、12B)と前記プラスチックシート(SA、SB)用の第2の加熱ステーション(14A、14B)との間に設けたことを特徴とする、請求項8又は9いずれかに記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- 前記真空支持装置(15A、15B)は、前記プラスチックシート(SA、SB)用の加熱要素(28)を備えたことを特徴とする、請求項7記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- 各金型(17A、17B)は、第2の空気圧で動作するシート把持装置(36A、36B)を備えたことを特徴とする、請求項7記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- 前記真空保持装置(15A、15B)は、空気圧で動作する、真空チャンバーを形成している周辺壁を有する釣鐘形状である吸引ベルの構成であることを特徴とする、請求項7記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- 前記閉じた金型(17A、17B)を前記製造設備の熱成形ステーション(16A、16B)と前記冷却ステーション(20)の間で搬送するため、前記熱成形ステーション(16A、16B)と面を整列した状態で前記処理ライン(A、B)の1つの側方にある金型冷却ステーション(20)を設けたことを特徴とする、請求項7記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- 前記冷却ステーション(20)は、複数の金型支持面(51、52)を有する回転テーブル(50)を備えたことを特徴とする、請求項15記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- 前記冷却ステーション(20)は、前記処理ライン(A、B)と平行に配置された往復動可能な金型支持シャトル(54)を備えており、当該シャトル(54)は少なくとも第1および第2の金型支持面(55、56)を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項15記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- 前記金型(17A、17B)の搬送手段は、熱成形ステーション(16A、16B)と前記冷却ステーション(20)の間で往復可能な金型クランプ用ケージ(40、41)を備えたことを特徴とする、請求項15記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- 一方の金型(17B)の上下を転倒させる前記駆動手段は、2つの金型を重ね合わせて、それぞれの熱成形用殻を、その一方が上下を転倒されて他方の上端部に重ねられ且つ、それら周辺のシール領域が適合する両面書架(book press)を備えたことを特徴とする、請求項7記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
- 各金型(17A、17B)は、前記加熱されたプラスチックシート(SA、SB)の端部を把持するため追加の機械的手段(48)を備えたことを特徴とする、請求項13記載のプラスチック製燃料タンクの製造設備。
