Claims (2)
- 骨折部又は関節両側の第1の骨部及び第2の骨部の各々の外周に、他方の骨部側にはみ出さないように固定される、磁性材料からなる一対の磁性体部と、
前記骨折部又は関節近傍の人体組織の外側に配置され、前記磁性体部を磁化させる磁場を発生させる磁場発生部と、で構成され、
前記磁場発生部で発生される磁場により、前記一対の磁性体部が対向する面が互いに引き合うように磁化され、前記第1の骨部及び前記第2の骨部が固定されることを特徴とする創外固定器。 - 前記磁場発生部は、前記骨折部周囲の前記人体組織の外側に配置される筒状の筐体と、磁気的軸が前記第1の骨部又は前記第2の骨部の延在方向に略一致するように、前記筐体の周囲に螺旋状に巻回される1又は複数のコイルと、前記コイルに電流を供給する電流源とを少なくとも備え、前記電流源では、前記コイルに、電流値の符号が同じでその大きさが周期的に変動する電流を供給し、前記電流値の変動に対応して前記一対の磁性体部の引力が周期的に変化して骨癒合が促進されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の創外固定器。
