【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、受口管部に挿入接続された挿入管部の外周面と、該挿入管部に外装する状態で前記受口管部に管軸芯方向から固定連結される押輪の内周面との間に、挿入管部の外周面に喰い込み可能な抜止部材を設けるとともに、前記抜止部材を挿入管部の外周面に押圧する押圧手段を設けてある管継手部の離脱防止装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
この種の管継手部の離脱防止装置としては、図10、図11に示すように、前記押輪4の内周面に、抜止部材50を管径方向内方から着脱自在に装着可能な凹部9を形成し、この凹部9内の抜止部材50に対して管径方向内方への押付力を付与するための押圧手段Aを構成するボルト11を、押輪4の外周面側から螺合して、該ボルト11の先端に形成された偏平状のカム面11aと抜止部材50の傾斜外側面50aとをもって、受口管部1と挿入管部2との管軸芯X方向での相対離脱移動に連れて抜止部材50を管径方向内方側に変位させるカム手段Bを構成するとともに、抜止部材50の内側面50bには、管周方向に沿って挿入管部2の外周面2aに喰い込み可能な二本の第1 喰込み突起部50Aと、管軸芯X方向に沿って挿入管部2の外周面2aに喰い込み可能な一本の第2喰込み突起部50Bとを、ほぼエの字状に配置させた状態で一体形成したものが提案されている(例えば、特開平7−280147号公報参照)

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の管継手部の離脱防止装置では、押圧手段Aを構成するボルトを締込み操作して、抜止部材50に管径方向内方への押付力を付与すると、該抜止部材50の内側面に形成された第1 喰込み突起部50Aと第2喰込み突起部50Bが挿入管部2の外周面2aに喰い込み、接続された受口管部1と挿入管部2との管軸芯X方向での相対移動を阻止する離脱防止機能を発揮させることができるばかりでなく、受口管部1と挿入管部2との相対回転を阻止する回転防止機能も発揮させることができるから、特に、配管系の途中に空気弁や消火栓等の機器が接続されていて、それらの機器を特定の姿勢に維持しなければならない場合でも、機器の特定姿勢を維持するための特別な回転防止用の支持工事が不要で、管接続工事費の低廉化を図ることができる。
しかしながら、従来では、前記抜止部材50の内側面に、互いに方向の異なる第1 喰込み突起部50Aと第2喰込み突起部50Bとが形成されているため、例えば、鋳造で製作された抜止部材50の第1 喰込み突起部50A及び第2喰込み突起部50Bを切削加工する場合に手間取り易く、特に、第1 喰込み突起部50Aと第2喰込み突起部50Bとが連続又は近接する場合では、切削加工に多くの手間を要する問題があった。

本発明は、上述の実状に鑑みて為されたものであって、その主たる課題は、抜止部材に対する合理的な改造をもって、優れた離脱防止機能と回転防止機能とを確実に発揮させながら能率良く容易に製作することのできる管継手部の離脱防止装置を提供する点にある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の構成は、受口管部に挿入接続された挿入管部の外周面と、該挿入管部に外装する状態で前記受口管部に管軸芯方向から固定連結される押輪の内周面との間に、挿入管部の外周面に喰い込み可能な抜止部材を設けるとともに、前記抜止部材を挿入管部の外周面に押圧する押圧手段を設けてある管継手部の離脱防止装置であって、
前記抜止部材の内側面に、管周方向の成分が主体となる方向に沿って挿入管部の外周面に喰い込み可能な第1喰込み突起部を形成するとともに、前記抜止部材に、管軸芯方向の成分を含む方向に沿って挿入管部の外周面に喰い込み可能な第2喰込み突起部を備えた廻り止め部材を設けていてもよい。

上記構成によれば、前記押圧手段によって抜止部材を挿入管部の外周面側に押圧すると、第1喰込み突起部及び第2喰込み突起部が挿入管部の外周面に喰い込み、管周方向の成分が主体となる方向に沿う第1喰込み突起部をもって、接続された受口管部と挿入管部との管軸芯方向での相対移動を阻止する離脱防止機能を発揮させることができるとともに、管軸芯方向の成分を含む方向に沿う第2喰込み突起部をもって、受口管部と挿入管部との相対回転を阻止する回転防止機能も発揮させることができる。
しかも、前記第1喰込み突起部は抜止部材の内側面に形成され、かつ、第2喰込み突起部は、抜止部材に設けられる廻り止め部材に形成されているから、一方の第1喰込み突起部又は第2喰込み突起部が他方の第2喰込み突起部又は第1喰込み突起部に対する加工の妨げになることがない。
従って、第2喰込み突起部を備えた廻り止め部材を抜止部材に設けるだけの簡単かつ安価な改造をもって、優れた離脱防止機能と回転防止機能とを確実に発揮させながら能率良く容易に製作することができる。

本発明の構成は、前記廻り止め部材が、抜止部材に対して脱着自在に構成されていてもよい。
上記構成によれば、配管系の途中に空気弁や消火栓等の機器が接続されていて、それらの機器を特定の姿勢に維持する必要のある場合では、第1喰込み突起部を備えた抜止部材に、第2喰込み突起部を備えた廻り止め部材を取付けることにより、接続された受口管部と挿入管部との管軸芯方向での相対離脱移動及び相対回転を共に阻止して、機器を特定の姿勢に維持することができる。
また、地中等に埋設される配管系で、かつ、不同沈下や地震等に起因して回転力や捻じれ力等の管周方向の外力が作用する場合では、第1喰込み突起部を備えた抜止部材から第2喰込み突起部を備えた廻り止め部材を取外すことにより、接続された受口管部と挿入管部との相対離脱移動を防止しながらも、受口管部と挿入管部との相対回転によって管周方向の外力を吸収することができる。
従って、第1喰込み突起部を備えた抜止部材に対して、第2喰込み突起部を備えた廻り止め部材を脱着するだけの簡単な操作をもって、離脱防止機能と回転防止機能とを備えたものと、離脱防止機能のみを備えたものとに使い分けることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
〔第1実施形態〕
図1〜図7は、流体輸送管(例えば、水道管やガス管)の管継手部の離脱防止装置を示し、一方の流体輸送管Pの受口管部1に挿入接続された他方の流体輸送管Pの挿入管部2に、前記受口管部1の内周面1cと挿入管部2の外周面2aとの間を密封可能な合成ゴム製(例えば、スチレンブタジエンゴム)のシール材3と、該シール材3を管軸芯X方向から押圧して密封状態(水密状態)にまで圧縮可能な鋳鉄製の押輪4とが外装されているとともに、前記押輪4と受口管部1とを管軸芯X方向から締付け固定する締結手段5が設けられている。

尚、その他の構成は、第1実施形態で説明した構成と同一であるから、同一の構成箇所には、第1実施形態と同一の番号を付記してそれの説明は省略する。

(1)上述の各実施例では、前記受口管部1と挿入管部2との管軸芯X方向での相対離脱移動に連れて抜止部材8を管径方向内方に変位させるカム手段Bを設けたが、このようなカム手段Bを備えていない管継手部の離脱防止装置に本発明の技術を適用して実施してもよい。
つまり、前記各凹部9内に装着された抜止部材8を挿入管部2の外周面2aに押圧する押圧手段Aのみを備えた管継手部の離脱防止装置に本発明の技術を適用してもよい。
