(4)あらかじめ偏光フィルムセットユニット11に糊面を下側にしてセットされた偏光フィルム12を偏光フィルム供給アーム13にて仮貼付ステージ4の上まで搬送し、偏光フィルムクリーナー10にて糊面を清掃する。清掃完了後、液晶パネル6の上に供給すると同時に偏光フィルム供給アーム13に取り付けられた仮貼付用加熱装置14が下降し、偏光フィルム12を液晶パネル6に仮貼付する。
(5)両面に偏光フィルムを仮貼付した液晶パネル6は、本貼付搬送アーム15にて加熱オーブン16内に準備されたパネルセット冶具17に搬送される。

以上説明したように、本発明によれば、液晶パネルに偏光フィルムを貼付する光学フィルム取付装置において、加熱により粘着力を生ずる糊面を持つ偏光板を使用し、仮貼付ユニットにおいては、液晶パネルに偏光フィルムを部分的に仮止めする作業を1パネル毎に行う機能を有し、また、本貼付ユニットにおいては、複数のパネルに対して加圧・加熱を行い、偏光フィルムを貼付け、脱泡する作業を同時に行う。従って、偏光フィルムの糊面にセパレータが無いため、セパレータ剥離時に発生する周辺糊欠け不良を防止すると同時に、セパレータ剥離用テープ及びセパレータからなる大量の産業廃棄物の発生を無くすことができる。また、従来オートクレーブ装置を使用して行っていた糊面と液晶パネル間の脱泡を本貼付ユニットで貼付と同時に行うことができる。

積み重ねた前記複数の仮貼付液晶パネルを加熱しながら上側から加圧して前記液晶パネルの上下面に前記上側光学フィルム及び前記下側光学フィルムを接着させる工程と、

A process of bonding the upper optical film and the lower optical film to the upper and lower surfaces of the liquid crystal panel by applying pressure from above while heating the plurality of temporarily attached liquid crystal panels stacked;
