Description

The present invention relates to a surgical staple remover for removing staples with sutured skin. Specifically, it is equipped with a storage unit that collects the staples that have been removed, and improves the efficiency and safety of the staple removal process by allowing staples to be removed and the staples that have been removed to be collected in a series of operations. It has been made.

In surgery, staples (needles) are used for suturing skin that has been cut open. Conventionally, a surgical staple remover has been proposed in order to remove the staple stitched on the skin (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

A conventional surgical staple remover has a configuration in which a staple is deformed and pressed out from the skin by pressing the central portion of the crown of the staple, and the needle can be pulled out in the manner of handling a scissors.

Japanese Examined Patent Publication No. 62-44935

However, the conventional surgical staple remover has a problem in that it is necessary to place the removed staples on a tray or the like each time the staples are removed, and the efficiency of the removal process is poor. For example, for laparotomy or thoracotomy, it is necessary to remove 30 to 60 staples. However, in the operation of removing a large number of staples and placing them one by one in the tray, it takes time to work. There is a problem that it takes.

Also, while the staples that have been pulled out are held by the staple remover and moved to the tray, there is a possibility that the staples may fall on the floor surface, etc. There's a problem.

The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a surgical staple remover that improves the efficiency and safety of staple removal processing.

To solve the problems described above, the invention of claim 1 includes a needle receiving guide having two guide supporting portion supporting the staples penetrate the lower side of the crown portion of the staple suturing skin, needle guard The crown of the staple supported by the guide is pressed to deform the staple, and is pulled out from the skin. The pressing slider pulls the staple pulled out from the skin using the needle receiving guide as a guide, and the storage for storing the staple pulled in by the pressing slider. A pressing slider is connected to the slider body, which is slidable in a direction along the two guide support portions of the needle receiving guide, at the fulcrum portion, and the crown portion of the staple is used as the fulcrum portion as a fulcrum. A pressing lever that deforms in the pressing direction is provided, and the pressing lever supports the crown portion of the staple supported by the two guide support portions and the fulcrum portion. A pressing portion that is pressed by deformation of the pressing lever, and a pull-in portion that pulls the staple that is pressed by the pressing portion and pulled out from the skin using the two guide support portions as a guide by sliding the pressing lever and the slider body. When the pressing lever of the pressing slider is pressed, the pressing portion presses the crown of the staple, and the staple is removed from the skin by deforming the supporting portion of the two guide supporting portions as a fulcrum, and pressing the pressing lever. By pulling the continuous pressing lever from the slider, the slider body moves in the direction along the two guide support portions, so that the drawing portion abuts against the crown portion where the staple is deformed, and the two guides are moved. The staple is pulled into the storage portion using the support portion as a guide .

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect of the present invention, the pressing slider is configured such that the pressing lever and the slider main body are integrally formed, and when the pressing lever is pressed, the fulcrum portion is elastically deformed and the pressing force is relaxed. It is characterized by returning to its initial shape when it is pressed.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the invention according to the first or second aspect, the storage portion includes a check portion that prevents the stored staples from dropping.

According to the surgical staple remover of the present invention, the removal of staples with sutured skin and the collection of the removed staples are performed in a series of operations, so that the efficiency of staple removal processing is improved, and the operation is improved. You can speed up.

In addition, since the staples pulled out from the skin are collected in the storage section provided in the main body, the staples that have been pulled out do not fall on the floor or the like. It is not touched, the safety of staple removal processing is improved, and the risk of infection and the like can be eliminated.

Embodiments of a surgical staple remover according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

<Configuration example of surgical staple remover>
1A and 1B are configuration diagrams showing an example of a surgical staple remover 1 according to the present embodiment. FIG. 1A is an external perspective view, and FIG. 1B is a side sectional view. In the following description, the surgical staple remover will be referred to as a staple remover.

FIG. 2 is an explanatory view showing the sutured state of the skin with staples. First, the staple 21 to be removed by the staple remover 1 will be described with reference to FIG. 2. The staple 21 includes a crown portion (crown portion) 21b that connects the two leg portions 21a and the leg portions 21a. The leg portion 21a is bent in an L shape toward the inside, and the skin 22 is sutured.

Next, the configuration of the staple remover 1 of the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.

The staple remover 1 according to the present embodiment is a pressing mechanism that pulls out and collects staples 21 in cooperation with the main body 2, the needle receiver guide 3 attached to the distal end side of the main body 2, and the needle receiver guide 3. A slider 4 is provided.

As shown in FIG. 1B, the main body 2 has a space formed therein, and the storage portion 5 is configured in this space. In addition, the main body 2 is formed with an intake opening 6 on the distal end side, and the storage 5 is connected to the intake opening 6.

Further, for example, a protrusion 6a is formed on the bottom surface of the intake opening 6 and a check part is provided, so that the staple 21 collected in the storage part 5 does not fall from the intake opening 6 to the outside as will be described later. Is done.

Here, if the staple remover 1 is of a type that can be used up once, it is not necessary to have a configuration for discharging the staples 21 collected in the storage unit 5. On the other hand, it is good also as a structure which makes the accommodating part 5 cartridge type and can be attached or detached.

The needle receiving guide 3 is a U-shaped member made of metal and includes two guide support portions 3a. The interval between the two guide support portions 3 a is configured to be slightly narrower than the interval between the leg portions 21 a of the staple 21, and the needle receiving guide 3 is configured to be able to enter between the leg portions 21 a of the staple 21. The needle receiver guide 3 is attached to the intake opening 6 of the main body 2 at the rear end side of the two guide support portions 3 a, and the needle receiver guide 3 and the storage portion 5 are connected via the intake opening 6. .

The pressing slider 4 includes a slider body 7, a pressing lever 8, and a needle pressing bracket 9. The slider body 7 is attached to a guide portion 10 formed on the body portion 2 via a spring 11 so as to be slidable in a direction along the guide support portion 3 a of the needle receiving guide 3.

In this example, the pressing lever 8 is integrally formed with the slider body 7, and one end side of the pressing lever 8 is connected to the slider body 7. The pressing lever 8 has a fulcrum portion 8a at the connecting portion with the slider body 7, and extends obliquely upward along the needle receiving guide 3 from the fulcrum portion 8a, and a handle portion 8b is formed on the other end side which becomes a free end. The

The slider body 7 and the pressing lever 8 are made of, for example, resin, and the pressing lever 8 has a spring property. When the handle portion 8b is pressed from above, the slider body 7 and the pressing lever 8 can be elastically deformed in a form that uses the fulcrum portion 8a as a fulcrum It has become.

The handle portion 8 b is attached with a needle pusher 9 on the lower surface facing the needle receiving guide 3. The needle press fitting 9 is made of a metal member, protrudes from the lower surface of the handle portion 8b, has a pressing portion 9a formed at the lower end facing the needle receiving guide 3, and the front side of the forming portion of the pressing portion 9a further downwards. The lead-in portion 9b is formed on the rear surface of the protruding portion.

The spring 11 biases the pressing slider 4 forward, and in the initial state, the pressing portion 9a of the needle pressing bracket 9 provided in the pressing slider 4 is a guide supporting portion of the needle receiving guide 3 provided in the main body 2. It faces the tip side of 3a. Further, a predetermined gap is opened between the pressing portion 9 a of the needle pressing fitting 9 and the guide support portion 3 a of the needle receiving guide 3 due to the shape of the pressing lever 8.

<Operation example of staple remover>
3 and 4 are explanatory views showing the flow of the needle removal process by the staple remover 1, and FIG. 5 is an explanatory view showing a change in the shape of the staple 21 accompanying the needle removal process. The staples will be described below with reference to each drawing. The operation of the staple removal process of the staple 21 using the remover 1 will be described.

First, as shown in FIG. 3A, the needle receiver guide 3 of the staple remover 1 is inserted between the crown portion 21b of the staple 21 to be pulled out and the skin 22, and the two guide supports of the needle receiver guide 3 are supported. The both ends of the crown portion 21 b of the staple 21 are supported by the portion 3 a, and the needle pressing fitting 9 of the pressing lever 8 is opposed to the staple 21.

Next, as shown in FIG. 3B, the handle portion 8b of the pressing lever 8 is pushed. When the handle portion 8b is pressed from above, the pressing slider 4 is elastically deformed so that the pressing lever 8 has the fulcrum portion 8a shown in FIG. 1B as a fulcrum, as shown in FIG. The pressing portion 9 a of the needle holder 9 attached to the lower surface of the handle portion 8 b comes into contact with the central portion of the crown portion 21 b of the staple 21 supported by the guide support portion 3 a of the needle receiver guide 3.

When the handle portion 8b is further pressed, the pressing portion 9a of the needle pressing fitting 9 presses the central portion of the crown portion 21b of the staple 21 in the direction of arrow A. As a result, the staple 21 opens in the direction of the arrow B with the support portion by the two guide support portions 3a of the needle receiving guide 3 as a fulcrum, and the needle pusher 9 has two guides as shown in FIG. 5B. The staple 21 is inserted into the space between the support portions 3a, and the staple 21 is deformed into a substantially M shape with the pressing portion by the pressing portion 9a of the needle pusher 9 and the supporting portion by the two guide support portions 3a as fulcrums. Exit.

When the staple 21 comes off the skin 22, as shown in FIG. 4A, the handle portion 8b is pulled forward while the handle portion 8b is pressed. When the handle portion 8b is pulled toward the front, the pressing slider 4 moves in the direction of arrow C against the spring 11 with the slider main body 7 using the guide portion 10 shown in FIG.

When the pressing slider 4 moves in the direction of arrow C, the retracting portion 9b of the needle pusher 9 abuts against the deformed crown portion 21b of the staple 21, and as the pressing slider 4 moves in the direction of arrow C, FIG. ), The staple 21 is pulled toward the main body 2 using the guide support portion 3a of the needle receiving guide 3 as a guide.

When the handle portion 8b is pulled forward to a predetermined position, the staple 21 enters the main body portion 2 from the take-in opening 6 of the main body portion 2. FIG. 6 is a side cross-sectional view of the staple remover 1 showing a state in which the staple is retracted. When the handle portion 8b is pulled forward and the staple 21 is pulled to a position where it is disengaged from the guide support portion 3a of the needle receiving guide 3, an arrow is shown. As indicated by D, it is collected in the storage unit 5.

Here, the used staple 21 collected in the storage unit 5 is prevented from falling to the outside from the intake opening 6 by providing the intake opening 6 of the main body 2 with the protrusion 6a. .

When the handle portion 8b is returned to the original position, the next staple 21 can be removed. The pressing slider 4 returns to the initial shape in which the needle pressing metal 9 is separated from the needle receiving guide 3 when the pressing force on the handle portion 8b is loosened because the pressing lever 8 has a spring property. Further, the pressing slider 4 is returned to the initial position where the pressing portion 9 a of the needle pusher 9 is opposed to the distal end side of the guide support portion 3 a of the needle receiving guide 3 by the force of the spring 11.

As described above, by using the staple remover 1, the operation of pulling out the staple 21 stitched with the skin 22 and collecting it in the storage unit 5 can be performed without touching the staple 21. Further, since the collected staple 21 is stored in the storage unit 5, the collected staple 21 is not touched. As a result, the safety of the staple 21 pull-out process is improved, and the risk of infection and the like can be eliminated.

In addition, the removal of the staple 21 with the skin 22 sutured and the collection of the removed staple 21 can be performed by a series of operations by operating the handle portion 8b. It is not necessary to perform processing such as placing stapled staples 21 one by one on the tray, so that the efficiency of staple removal processing can be improved and the operation speed can be increased.

The present invention is applied to a staple remover for pulling out a staple for suturing skin that has been incised by a surgical operation or the like.
