従来の蝶番はいずれも、扉を扉枠に取り付けるには、蝶番で扉と扉枠を接合するまで、扉をずっと支えていなければならなかった。扉はかなりの重量があるのが普通であり、それをたとえ数分ないし十数分とはいえ、支え続けるのは相当に体力と集中力を必要とする仕事である。

本発明はこの問題点に鑑み、取り付け作業中に扉を支えている時間を大幅に短縮する方法及びこの方法に使用する蝶番を提供することを目的とする。
