Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to resource recycling by melt reforming of slag generated in a steelmaking process.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, in slag produced by dephosphorization, desulfurization, and decarburization refining (hereinafter referred to as steelmaking slag), the lime charged is not completely dissolved and exists as undecomposed lime. For this reason, the volume stability is low, and after a long time, this uncalcified lime undergoes a hydration reaction and expands, so that the steelmaking slag cannot be directly applied to, for example, a road base material.
[0003]
As a countermeasure, a method for promoting the hydration reaction of unhatched lime by natural curing or steam aging is generally employed.
[0004]
A method for reforming decarburized slag discharged from a converter in a molten state is disclosed in (Non-Patent Document 1). This is a method in which oxygen and silica are blown into the molten slag through an immersion lance, the basicity is reduced by the modifier while oxidizing and heating (FeO) in the slag, and the undehydrated lime is converted into a compound. is there. The modified slag that has been treated in this way has good volume stability and is used as a paving stone for river construction.
[0005]
[Non-Patent Document 1]
M.Kuehn, et al.2 nd European Steelmaking Congress , Taranto (1997) p445 / 453
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above-described method of promoting the hydration reaction of undehydrated lime by natural curing or steam aging requires long-term curing and a large site before the expansion characteristics can be ignored. In addition, this method is not a measure for completely eliminating undehydrated lime, and therefore, the use of steelmaking slag is strongly restricted even when it is treated.
[0007]
The method of Non-Patent Document 1 is effective when high-temperature slag of 1600 ° C. or higher and fluidity is ensured as in the case of decarburized slag, but the slag temperature and the total Fe in the slag ( When% T.Fe) is low or the basicity (% CaO /% SiO 2 ) is high, the fluidity of slag is lost and the reforming effect cannot be exhibited sufficiently.
[0008]
For example, when the refining temperature is as low as 1300 to 1400 ° C, such as dephosphorization slag, the solid phase ratio is already high at the time of discharge from the metallurgical furnace, and the oxidation reaction continues in a state where it is difficult to blow oxygen or even when blown. It becomes difficult to happen. If the temperature of the slag does not rise, the viscosity is high and a uniform reaction by the modifier does not occur.
[0009]
Currently, steelmaking slag is used for civil engineering materials, which have relatively loose regulations on volume expansion. However, as described above, the volume expansion of steelmaking slag due to the influence of undehydrated lime, etc. has not been solved yet, and its resource utilization is decreasing, and new steelmaking slag application development is required. .
[0010]
The present invention provides a method for improving volumetric expansibility of discharged steelmaking slag, which increases volume stability over conventional methods and relaxes slag constraints (basicity, temperature, etc.). With the goal.
[0011]
In other words, the present invention reduces melted lime and the like more uniformly than by reforming in natural aging and steam aging by performing melt reforming, and also by adding a heat source, even with relatively low temperature slag and high basicity slag. It aims at providing the method which can perform melt modification easily.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The configuration of the present invention is as follows.
(1) To slag of 1345 ° C or lower discharged from the metallurgical furnace to the transfer container,
The slag is modified by spraying the reformer with an oxygen burner, spraying the oxygen burner after adding the reformer, or spraying the reformer with the oxygen burner after adding the modifier. A method for melting and reforming steelmaking slag, characterized in that oxygen is blown into the slag at the same time or alternately with thermal spraying of a modifying material using an oxygen burner or irradiation with an oxygen burner .
( 2 ) The steelmaking slag melting and reforming method according to ( 1 ), wherein steelmaking slag generated in dephosphorization, desulfurization or decarburization refining is used as the slag.
( 3 ) The method for melt reforming steelmaking slag according to (1) or (2), wherein industrial waste having a lower basicity than slag before reforming is used as a reforming material.
( 4 ) The method for melt reforming steelmaking slag according to any one of (1) to ( 3 ), wherein mechanical stirring is performed to promote the reaction between the reformer and the steelmaking slag.
( 5 ) After the slag is reformed, the molten slag is discharged and solidified by tilting the slag transport container, and the steelmaking slag is melt-modified according to any one of (1) to ( 4 ). Quality method.
[0013]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below.
[0014]
This onset Ming, the slag discharged in the transport container from the metallurgical furnace, spraying modifier using oxygen burners, or irradiated with oxygen burners after the modifier was added, or the addition of modifier This is a method of reforming slag by spraying a modifying material later using an oxygen burner.
[0015]
By receiving slag discharged from a refining vessel such as a metallurgical furnace in a transport container and performing slag melting and reforming treatment in that container, high-temperature slag discharged from the refining vessel can be quickly processed. Heat can be used effectively. However, the amount of heat for performing the melt reforming process is usually insufficient only by sensible heat of the slag.
[0016]
Therefore, an oxygen burner is used as a heat source to eliminate the heat shortage. At the same time, the melting of slag and the reaction of Free CaO can be promoted by lowering the melting point of the slag using a modifier.
[0017]
Here, the modifying material is not particularly limited as long as it has a lower basicity (CaO / SiO 2 ) than the slag discharged from the metallurgical furnace to the transfer container.
[0018]
Next, a specific slag reforming method will be described.
[0019]
First, the slag discharged from the metallurgical furnace to the transfer container is a method of spraying the reforming material using an oxygen burner, but particularly when using a powdery reforming material, by projecting to the burner frame, Since the modifying material melts in the frame and then adheres to the surface of the slag, the efficiency of heat receiving on the slag can be improved.
[0020]
Next, a method of irradiating an oxygen burner after adding a modifying material to the slag discharged from the metallurgical furnace to the transfer container, but using a modifying material that is not suitable for thermal spraying due to its relatively large particle size. In some cases, it is sprayed on the surface of the slag before irradiation with the burner, or when the slag is discharged from the converter, it is mixed with the slag and then irradiated with an oxygen burner, thereby modifying the slag Is melted.
[0021]
Furthermore, after adding the modifier to the slag discharged from the metallurgical furnace to the transfer container, the modifier is sprayed using an oxygen burner. It is also possible to use a modifier having a different particle size in combination by projecting the powder modifier to the burner frame.
[0022]
Further, as the fuel for the oxygen burner, LPG, heavy oil, pulverized coal, exhaust plastic or the like can be used.
[0023]
Here, the use amount of the reforming material may be set as appropriate based on the slag component and temperature, the target reforming slag component, and the like, and is not particularly defined.
[0024]
As described above, when melting of slag is promoted, mixing of the added modifier and slag is promoted, and further, the reaction between Free CaO and SiO 2 , iron oxide, etc. is promoted. Since Free CaO in the slag is reduced, volume expansion can be suppressed. In particular, it is preferable to use a modifier having a low basicity because the melting point is lowered due to the low basicity of the slag, and Free CaO can be more easily reduced by the reaction with SiO 2 .
[0025]
This onset bright, in addition to the foregoing, the oxygen flow to the slag, sprayed oxygen-fuel burner modifier with or irradiation of oxygen burners, a method of performing the simultaneous or alternating.
[0026]
By blowing oxygen into the slag, FeO in the slag is oxidized, and the heat of oxidation generated at that time can be used effectively for melt reforming of the slag.
[0027]
As a method of performing oxygen blowing into the slag at the same time as the spraying of the modifier using the oxygen burner or the irradiation of the oxygen burner, for example, by enriching the oxygen in the oxygen burner, the FeO on the slag surface is oxidized. In addition, oxidation heat can be used effectively.
[0028]
Moreover, as a method of performing the above alternately, there can be exemplified a method in which burner irradiation is temporarily interrupted and oxygen gas is directly blown into the slag using an oxygen blowing pipe or a refractory lance. This is because oxygen gas is directly blown to promote mixing by agitating the slag phase and the modifier, and at the same time oxidizes FeO and granular iron in the slag and promotes the reforming reaction with the heat of oxidation. Therefore, it is effective for promoting the reforming reaction.
[0029]
What is necessary is just to set the blowing amount of oxygen gas suitably as needed.
[0030]
In addition, the operation of the burner irradiation and the stirring is effective even once, but it is preferable to repeat the operation a plurality of times because the melt reforming can be efficiently performed even with low temperature slag.
[0031]
If the slag fluidity is low and oxygen blowing is difficult, the heat of oxidation of Fe or FeO in the slag can be used for slag melt reforming if the air-fuel ratio of the oxygen burner is set to 1 or more. This is preferable because it is possible.
[0032]
This onset bright, in addition to the above, as a slug, a method using a steelmaking slag generated dephosphorization, in desulfurization or decarburization refining.
[0033]
Steelmaking slag generated in dephosphorization, desulfurization, or decarburization refining contains a relatively large amount of unrefined flux added in the steelmaking process, that is, a large amount of Free CaO remains. Therefore, the effects of the present invention are particularly great for these slags.
[0034]
This onset bright, in addition to the foregoing, a method of using a low industrial waste basicity than pre-upgrading slag as modifier.
[0035]
The reason why a basic material lower than the slag is preferable as the modifier is as described above. Specifically, industrial waste such as coal ash and waste glass has a lower basicity than the slag. It is preferable from the viewpoint that waste can be used effectively.
[0036]
In addition, Al 2 O 3 is also present in industrial waste such as coal ash, which also has the effect of lowering the melting point of slag, so that melting is promoted, and because the viscosity of slag is lowered, mixing is also promoted. .
[0037]
Moreover, you may use red mud etc. as another modifier.
[0038]
This onset bright, in addition to the above, by performing a mechanical stirrer, a method for promoting the reaction between the steelmaking slag and the modifier.
[0039]
By giving mechanical stirring during or after the oxygen burner irradiation, the surface of the slag is renewed, the surface temperature is lowered, and the effect of increasing the heat receiving efficiency is preferable. It is also important in promoting the reaction between the slag with different viscosity and the modifier.
[0040]
From the viewpoint of further providing stirring, gas blowing stirring may be used in combination. Moreover, you may repeat heating and stirring operation as needed.
[0041]
The timing of use of mechanical stirring may be set as appropriate, and is not particularly specified, but it is efficient to use gas stirring when the slag is in a molten state and mechanical stirring when it is in a semi-solidified state. Therefore, it is preferable.
[0042]
This onset bright, in addition to the above, after the reforming process the slag by tilting the slag-carrying container, a method for solidifying and discharging molten slag.
[0043]
The slag transport container is generally made of cast steel, and therefore the slag near the inner wall is in a solidified state. Furthermore, a highly viscous slag layer exists between the solidified slag and the molten slag.
[0044]
Although molten slag is slag that has been sufficiently melt-modified, solidified slag and highly viscous slag are slag that is hardly reformed or slag that is not sufficiently reformed.
[0045]
Therefore, when the entire amount is discharged from the slag transport container, the reformed slag and the slag that is not sufficiently reformed are mixed, and as a result, the quality of the slag is impaired.
[0046]
Therefore, the molten slag is discharged and solidified while gradually tilting the transport container, and solidified slag or highly viscous slag is left in the transport container. It becomes possible to separate and collect slag which is not quality.
[0047]
【Example】

【The invention's effect】
By applying and agitating a modifier such as coal ash to unsaturated lime-containing slag through an oxygen burner and applying agitation, restrictions on conditions such as basicity and temperature of unsaturated lime are not much. It is possible to easily modify slag without receiving it, to eliminate volume instability caused by unfoamed lime, etc., and to simultaneously make steelmaking slag and waste such as coal ash into resources became.
