[Patent Document 2]
Japanese Patent Application No. 2002-190269 [0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
A livestock feed comprising onion debris powder according to the present invention and a method for producing the same will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a front view of an onion for explaining a feed raw material according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the onion.
The main raw material of livestock feed comprising onion debris powder according to the present invention is onion debris, and the use of the central part of onion bulbs is not planned. The onion 100 harvested by the producer is cut off at the top and bottom. The livestock feed according to the present invention is mainly composed of onion thin skin 101, bulbous outer skin (outermost part of bulb portion) 104, bulb top excision 102, and excision 103 including a fine root at the bottom. The part from which these onion debris is removed is shipped to the market as edible. In FIG. 2, a portion surrounded by 105 is a portion provided for food.
[0007]
When the main raw material consisting of the onion debris contains moisture 70-90%,
Onion thin skin: other debris = 2: 98 (weight ratio). This amount varies depending on the type of onion, but is considered to be in the range of about 1:24 to 98 (weight ratio). The onion shell part is substantially the same component as the edible part and contains abundant sulfur-containing organic compounds and carbohydrates. Other debris, mainly brown thin skin, is rich in quercetin (flavonoid) pectin and tannin, which have an antioxidant effect. However, the skin does not contain the sulfur-containing organic compound of onion.
[0008]
The main raw material consisting of the onion debris, as shown in FIG. 3, from the raw material hopper 2 is crushed is introduced into the crushing machine 1, it is supplied to the pressure air injector 5 for grinding dry. A pressurized air supply device 3 and a hot air generator 4 are connected to the pressurized air injection device 5. The pressure air injection device 5 is provided with a plurality of Laval tubular nozzles, seven in this embodiment, and the pressure air hits the main raw material made of the onion debris introduced into the superheated gas. The main raw material is pulverized, sent to a dryer 6 and dried.
[0009]
The water content of the powder is 15% or less, more preferably 10% or less to prevent deterioration and increase the storage stability. The raw material sent to the dryer 6 and dried is sent to the cyclone 7 and put into the sorter 8. The powder is selected so that the maximum outer length (mesh) of the powder is 2 mm or less, more preferably 1 mm or less. The selected powder is put into a product tank 9 and provided to a pig farmer or the like as a product 10 packed in a bag.
[0010]
Using the livestock feed made of the onion debris powder, the livestock feed addition zone made of the onion debris powder and the four pigs in each target zone were compared from the viewpoints of fattening, disease, meat quality, and breeding environment. In both cases, the addition group was overwhelmingly superior.
This is presumed to be due to the following causal relationship. The portion of the outer skin 104 contains sulfur-containing organic compounds and carbohydrates (fructooligosaccharides). Other portions, particularly the thin skin 101, contain quercetin (a kind of flavonoid). The sulfur-containing organic compound has blood circulation promotion, vitamin B 1 absorption promotion, and bactericidal action. Carbohydrates (fructooligosaccharides) promote the growth of bifidobacteria in the intestines of pigs. Due to the effects of promoting blood circulation and absorption of vitamin B 1 , the spirit of the pig is stabilized, and healthy pigs are bred and the meat quality is improved. Moreover, since the immunity is enhanced by the bactericidal action and the improvement of the intestinal environment, the incidence of disease can be suppressed and the growth can be improved even if the use of currently used antibiotics is avoided. Quercetin contained in the thin skin has an antioxidant effect, and thus generally works effectively on other diseases such as contributing to lowering blood pressure.
[0011]
FIG. 4 shows an example of onion debris powder (indicated as dry onion) and a feed nutrient comparison table of corn. As shown in FIG. 5, the control group and the onion-added group were each composed of two males and two females, and comparative observation was performed from around July 18, 2002. In the addition group, 3% of the onion debris powder was added to the feed (whole agricultural compound feed) and reared. In general components, the protein content was relatively high, so there was no problem in nutrition, and the palatability was also good at this addition rate.
[0012]
(Comparison of fattening) The average body weight at the beginning (July 18) was 30 kg in each section. The weight of each pig is measured from August 1 and shown in FIG. FIG. 6 is a graph showing the average weight value.
The graph of FIG. 6 shows that after the middle period of fattening (weight: about 60 kg, fattening days: 40 days), the effect of improving the growth was great. In order to improve the intestinal environment and obtain the effect of fructooligosaccharides in dry onions, it is effective to consume more than a certain amount every day. As a result of continuous intake every day, it can be said that the growth has been improved.
FIG. 7 shows the arrival days of 110 kg as a bar graph. It may be considered that fattening is quicker when the arrival time of 110 kg is shorter. The control zone has a large variation and takes a long time on average. On the other hand, the addition zone has little variation and the average number of days required is short.
[0013]
(Feed demand rate) The feed demand rate indicates how many kilograms of feed is required to make 1 kg of product (weight gain), which is useful for evaluating the economics of fattening.
Feed demand rate = feed intake / weight gain (production)
Onion addition group is 2.95, and control group is 3.12.
The onion added section was more advantageous in productivity.
[0014]
(Comparison of diseases) Onion-added plots showing disease by numbering solids Control plot
NO.109 Mild pleural pneumonia NO.83 Heavy pleural pneumonia
NO.111 Liver congestion NO.85 Pleural pneumonia Medium SEP Mild colitis
NO.80 Heavy SEP NO.82 Liver congestion
NO.86 Nodule Disposal NO.94 Nodule Disposal SEP is an abbreviation for swine epidemic pneumonia.
There are many occurrences and types of diseases in the control group. Compared with the control group and the control group, colitis occurs only in the control group, because in the added group, the effect of fructooligosaccharides is used to proliferate intestinal bifidobacteria and suppress the occurrence of colitis. Conceivable. It is considered that the effect of fructooligosaccharides is also the reason why the addition group is lighter for diseases mainly consisting of pneumonia.
It can be considered that the antioxidant effect of quercetin contained in the thin skin contributes to the maintenance of pig health as a whole.
[0015]
The inspection of meat quality (taste) was judged by a sensory test (three panelists A, B, and C sample pork loin and evaluate meat quality and flavor).
The softness was evaluated in five levels. The softest is 5 and the hard is 1.
Paneler A B C
Addition zone 5 5 5
Control zone 4 3 3
The juiciness was also evaluated in five stages. 5 is good and 1 is bad.
Paneler A B C
Addition zone 5 4 4
Control zone 4 3 3
As a result of the texture analysis, an analysis result that the control group is harder than the additive group is obtained with respect to the hardness, which corresponds well to the five-step evaluation of softness.
As for the juiciness, the water retention was analyzed, and the result showed that the water retention in the added group was larger than the water retention in the control group.
[0016]
(Comparison of pig housing environment) The odor of the excrement of the swine in the added area is due to the effect of fructooligosaccharides to promote the growth of good bacteria in the intestines of the pig and suppress the growth of bad bacteria, such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, etc. Can suppress malodorous substances produced by bad bacteria.
[0017]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, the livestock feed comprising onion debris powder according to the present invention is mainly composed of onion thin skin, bulb outer skin, bulb top excision, and excised part including the fine root at the bottom, This uses waste. Therefore, the raw material is very inexpensive. In addition to the thin skin components, it also contains the ball components, and concentrates the various benefits of onions, contributing to the growth of healthy pigs with a small amount of use and significantly reducing the production costs of pig farmers. Has contributed. Moreover, the manufacturing method of the said onion debris powder is excellent at the point which does not use pressing or slaked lime like the conventional method. Compared with the conventional method, the running cost and initial cost are halved and the cost is superior.
[0018]
Livestock feed consisting of the present onion debris powder can be considered as an antibiotic substitute. The pig farmer can reduce the production cost because the use of the antibiotics that have been used in the past can be omitted by mixing about several percent of the onion residue powder into the feed. Furthermore, meat with good meat quality can be provided.
Moreover, the livestock feed which consists of this application onion waste powder can be used by adding to the milk of the piglet stage. Thereby, disease prevention and growth promotion of piglets can be aimed at without using antibiotics. The pork meat fattened with feed supplemented with the onion debris powder of the present application is safe because there is no residual antibiotic.
