BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a battery capacity control apparatus and a battery capacity control method, and more particularly, to a battery capacity control apparatus and a battery capacity control method for controlling a capacity of a battery that performs charge / discharge with an electric load to a target capacity.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-217206, an apparatus for controlling charging / discharging of an in-vehicle battery is known. This device normally charges the battery to a fully charged state, but controls the battery to a target capacity of about 90% that does not reach full charge when a relatively large amount of power is expected to be regenerated by the vehicle. For this reason, according to the above-described conventional apparatus, when a relatively large amount of power is regenerated, the battery has a remaining capacity for storing the regenerated power, so that the regenerative power from the vehicle can be effectively collected in the battery. It becomes.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the above conventional apparatus, as a method for controlling the battery capacity to the target capacity, the current capacity of the battery and the target capacity are compared in size, and the battery capacity matches the target capacity based on the comparison result. To charge or discharge the battery. However, with such a method, it is necessary to always detect the battery capacity accurately in order to control the battery capacity to the target capacity, but it is difficult to accurately detect the battery capacity in the process of repeated charge and discharge. is there. For this reason, in the said conventional apparatus, there existed a possibility that the capacity | capacitance of a battery could not be maintained at a desired target capacity correctly.
[0004]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to provide a battery capacity control device and a battery capacity control method capable of accurately maintaining the battery capacity at a desired target capacity. .
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The above object is achieved by a battery capacity control device for controlling the target capacity battery capacity for performing charging and discharging between the Jo Tokoro electric load,
A target open circuit voltage calculating means for calculating a target battery open voltage corresponding to the target capacity of the battery using a map indicating a relationship between the target capacity and the battery open voltage;
Capacity discriminating means for discriminating whether or not the difference between the actual capacity of the battery and the target capacity is a predetermined value or more;
When it is determined by the capacity determination means that the difference is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, when the actual capacity of the battery is greater than the target capacity, the target corresponding to the target capacity calculated by the target open circuit voltage calculation means A voltage lower than the battery open voltage is set as a new target battery open voltage, and when the actual capacity of the battery is smaller than the target capacity, it corresponds to the target capacity calculated by the target open voltage calculation means Target open circuit voltage correction means for setting a voltage higher than the target battery open circuit voltage as a new target battery open circuit voltage; and
When the capacity determining means determines that the difference is less than a predetermined value, the target battery open voltage corresponding to the target capacity calculated by the target open voltage calculating means, while the capacity determining means determines the difference. There at the new target battery open voltage set by the target opening voltage correction means when it is determined that a predetermined value or more, by charging and discharging of the battery, the goal volume capacity of the battery Capacity control means to control ;
It is achieved by a battery capacity control device comprising:
[0006]
Further, the above object is achieved, the capacity of the battery to perform charging and discharging between the Jo Tokoro electrical load a battery capacity control method of controlling the target volume,
A target open circuit voltage calculating step for calculating a target battery open voltage corresponding to the target capacity of the battery using a map indicating a relationship between the target capacity and the battery open voltage;
A capacity determining step of determining whether or not a difference between the actual capacity of the battery and the target capacity is a predetermined value or more;
When it is determined in the capacity determination step that the difference is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, when the actual capacity of the battery is larger than the target capacity, the target corresponding to the target capacity calculated in the target open circuit voltage calculation step A voltage lower than the battery open voltage is set as a new target battery open voltage, and when the actual capacity of the battery is smaller than the target capacity, it corresponds to the target capacity calculated in the target open voltage calculation step. A target open voltage correction step for setting a voltage higher than the target battery open voltage as a new target battery open voltage;
If it is determined in the capacity determination step that the difference is less than a predetermined value, the target battery open voltage corresponding to the target capacity calculated in the target open voltage calculation step, while the difference in the capacity determination step There at the new target battery open voltage set in the target open-circuit voltage correction step when it is determined that a predetermined value or more, by charging and discharging of the battery, the goal volume capacity of the battery A capacity control step to control;
It is achieved by the battery capacity control method characterized by comprising a.
[0007]
In the inventions of these aspects , when the difference between the actual capacity and the target capacity is small , the battery is controlled to the target capacity by charging / discharging at the target battery open voltage corresponding to the target capacity. Generally, in a battery, there is a correlation between the battery open voltage and the capacity. Therefore, the capacity of the battery approaches the target capacity by being repeatedly charged and discharged at the target battery open voltage. For this reason, according to the present invention, the capacity of the battery can be accurately maintained at a desired target capacity.
If the battery is charged and discharged at a voltage that matches the target battery open voltage corresponding to the target capacity in a situation where the actual capacity of the battery and the target capacity are far apart, It may take a long time to control the capacity to the target capacity.
On the other hand, in the present invention, when the difference between the actual capacity and the target capacity is large, the battery is charged / discharged with a new target battery open voltage increased or decreased from the target battery open voltage corresponding to the target capacity. Is controlled to the target capacity. Specifically, when the actual capacity is larger than the target capacity, a voltage lower than the target battery open voltage corresponding to the target capacity is set as a new target battery open voltage, while the actual capacity is smaller than the target capacity. When the charging / discharging is performed using a voltage higher than the target battery open voltage corresponding to the target capacity as a new target battery open voltage, the target capacity is controlled. For this reason, according to the present invention, the capacity of the battery can reach the target capacity in a relatively short time.
[0008]
In this case, in the battery capacity control device described above , the target open circuit voltage correction unit is configured such that the target capacity corresponding to the target capacity calculated by the target open circuit voltage calculation unit when the actual capacity of the battery is larger than the target capacity. A value obtained by subtracting a predetermined voltage from the battery open voltage is set as a new target battery open voltage, and when the actual capacity of the battery is smaller than the target capacity, the target capacity calculated by the target open voltage calculating means A value obtained by adding a predetermined voltage from the target battery open voltage corresponding to is set as a new target battery open voltage.
Further, in the battery capacity control method described above, the target open circuit voltage correction step includes a target battery corresponding to the target capacity calculated in the target open circuit voltage calculation step when the actual capacity of the battery is larger than the target capacity. A value obtained by subtracting a predetermined voltage from the open voltage is set as a new target battery open voltage, and when the actual capacity of the battery is smaller than the target capacity, the target capacity calculated in the target open voltage calculation step is set. A value obtained by adding a predetermined voltage from the corresponding target battery open voltage may be set as a new target battery open voltage .
[0009]
Note that the relationship between the battery capacity and the battery open voltage varies depending on the temperature of the battery.
[0010]
Accordingly, in the battery capacity control device described above, the target open-circuit voltage calculation means, the target by using the map relationship changes between the target volume and the battery open voltage according to battery temperature, corresponding to the target capacity of the battery If the battery open voltage is calculated, the capacity of the battery can be controlled to the target capacity more accurately.
