【0040】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle sun visor including a support shaft that is detachably latched on a hook on a ceiling surface of a passenger compartment.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A vehicle sun visor generally has a support shaft that is detachably attached to a hook on the ceiling surface of the passenger compartment. For example, according to Patent Document 1, the support shaft has a shaft body and a cylindrical body that covers the shaft body.
A vehicle sun visor having a mirror unit has also been known. For example, according to
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP 2002-192948 A [Patent Document 2]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-254928
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the case of a vehicle sun visor having a mirror unit, it has been desired that when the mirror unit receives an impact at the time of a vehicle accident or the like, it is not damaged by the impact. Then, this invention makes it a subject to provide the sun visor for vehicles provided with the structure where a mirror unit is hard to be damaged by an impact.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention is a vehicle sun visor having a configuration as described in the above claims.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the support shaft is a weakened portion that breaks before the mirror unit breaks when the visor body or the mirror unit receives an impact when the support shaft is hooked. This prevents the mirror unit from being damaged.
[0006]
That is, when an impact is applied to the visor body or the mirror unit, the fragile portion that is a part of the support shaft is damaged before the mirror unit.
Therefore, the energy of impact is consumed by the breakage of the weak part of the support shaft, and the breakage of the mirror unit is prevented.
The weak part may be anything as long as it is easily damaged compared to other parts of the support shaft. For example, a form in which a notch (groove) is formed over the outer periphery of the support shaft, or a part of the outer periphery is notched. A form having a notch or a form formed of a material that easily breaks brittlely.
[0007]
According to the invention described in claim 1, support shaft is configured to laterally bridged protrudes a concave portion on the concave portion of concave part outer periphery of the visor body. Moreover, it has a small diameter part in both ends, and has a large diameter part in the center part. The large-diameter portion has a larger diameter than the small-diameter portion and can be hooked on the hook. And the weak part is provided in the boundary of a large diameter part and a small diameter part.
That is, the support shaft has a small diameter portion and a large diameter portion having different diameters. And the weak part is provided in the boundary of a small diameter part and a large diameter part. The large diameter portion is hooked on the hook.
Therefore, when the visor body or the mirror unit receives an impact, the impact is received by the large-diameter portion hooked on the hook. In this case, stress tends to concentrate between the large diameter portion and the small diameter portion. And the weak part is provided in the boundary. For this reason, the fragile portion is easily subjected to stress by impact and is easily damaged by the stress. Thus, the weak part effectively prevents the mirror unit from being damaged.
[0008]
According to invention of
That is, the fragile portion has a notch portion in the support shaft, and is thus easily damaged. The notch is formed on a part of the outer periphery of the support shaft when the visor body is in the storage position on the vehicle ceiling surface side.
By the way, the visor body is often in the storage position in view of the frequency of use. And a notch is provided in the compartment ceiling surface side at the time of a storage position, and is provided in the position where it is hard to see. Therefore, the fragile portion is provided without substantially impairing the appearance of the vehicle sun visor.
[0009]
According to invention of
That is, since the support shaft is configured to include a shaft body and a cylindrical body, the diameter of the shaft body is smaller than that of the cylindrical body. And the weak part is provided in the shaft.
Therefore, the fragile portion is easily damaged by an impact by being provided on the shaft having a small diameter. Therefore, the fragile portion can prevent the mirror unit from being damaged accurately.
[0010]
According to the invention described in
That is, the fragile portion is provided in a part of the shaft body that is not covered by the cylindrical body.
Therefore, when a weak part is damaged, the weak part tends to be separated from the cylinder. For this reason, the support shaft is easily damaged, and thus the mirror unit is prevented from being damaged properly.
[0011]
According to invention of
In other words, the fragile portion has a notch portion in the shaft body, and is thus easily damaged. The notch is formed on the occupant side of the shaft body when the visor body is in the light shielding position along the windshield.
By the way, when the visor body is placed in the light shielding position, if the visor body receives an impact from the occupant side, the shaft body is likely to receive tensile stress on the occupant side. And the notch part is provided in such a position. Therefore, the notch is easily damaged by impact. Thus, the weak part effectively prevents the mirror unit from being damaged.
