Description
The present invention relates to a neutral point voltage adjustment device that performs voltage adjustment in a neutral state in a torque sensor that detects torque based on inductance changes of a pair of coils having inductances that change in opposite directions.
Such a torque sensor uses, as a torque detection voltage, a voltage difference between a first voltage and a second voltage based on each inductance change of a pair of coils whose inductances change in opposite directions according to torque, and based on the torque detection voltage. The torque is detected at the same time.
However, the coil itself has temperature characteristics, and a temperature change due to thermal expansion or the like of the components of the torque sensor such as the entire housing affects the torque detection output, thereby preventing accurate torque detection.
Therefore, the applicant attaches a detection circuit for detecting the temperature from the voltage obtained by adding the first temperature detection voltage and the second temperature detection voltage based on the inductance change of the pair of coils, and the detection circuit detects the temperature based on the detection temperature of the detection circuit. A temperature compensation device that corrects the value of the torque detection voltage has been proposed (see Patent Document 1).
The torque detection voltage is corrected from the detected temperature on the assumption that the reference neutral point voltage of the torque detection voltage in the neutral state is a predetermined constant voltage, but in reality, the neutral point voltage is not necessarily due to variations in parts and its assembly. The specified voltage is not reached.
Therefore, after assembly of the torque sensor, it is necessary to further measure the voltage difference from the reference neutral point voltage by measuring the torque detection voltage in a neutral state, and the torque detection voltage also changes if the temperature is different. Set the reference neutral point voltage at the reference temperature and assemble the parts in the work place maintained at the reference temperature, measure the torque detection voltage in the neutral state with the reference temperature after assembly of the torque sensor, and The voltage difference must be obtained as the adjustment voltage.
If the temperature setting is incorrect, an accurate adjustment voltage cannot be obtained, so the temperature in the workplace must be thoroughly controlled, and the torque detection voltage for determining the adjustment voltage can be measured at any time by assembling the torque sensor. I couldn't.
The present invention has been made in view of the above points. The purpose of the present invention is to detect torque for assembling a torque sensor and finding an adjustment voltage that eliminates mechanical variations anytime and anywhere, without requiring temperature management in an assembly workplace. It is in the point which provides the temperature compensation apparatus of the torque sensor which can measure a voltage.
In order to achieve the above object, the invention according to
Since the temperature characteristics of the torque detection voltage in the neutral state and the ideal temperature characteristics corresponding to the reference neutral point voltage are stored in the reference temperature, the adjustment voltage calculation can be performed if the temperature of the torque sensor is detected simultaneously with the torque detection voltage measurement. Since the neutral point adjustment voltage can be calculated by the means, the torque detection voltage for obtaining the adjustment voltage can be measured by assembling the torque sensor anytime and anywhere without being affected by the temperature environment, and the torque can be measured by the calculated adjustment voltage. By adjusting the detection voltage, it is possible to absorb the influence of variations in parts and their assembly.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the neutral point voltage adjusting device of the torque sensor according to the first aspect, the adjustment voltage calculating means obtains a calculated torque detection voltage corresponding to the detected temperature of the ideal temperature characteristic, and calculates the same. A voltage difference between the torque detection voltage and the measured torque detection voltage is calculated as a neutral point adjustment voltage.
The voltage difference between the calculated torque detection voltage corresponding to the measured temperature of the ideal temperature characteristic and the measured torque detection voltage is the voltage difference between the torque detection voltage and the reference neutral point voltage (assuming that it is measured at the reference temperature). Therefore, it is not necessary to measure the torque detection voltage while maintaining the reference temperature.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the neutral point voltage adjusting device of the torque sensor according to the first aspect, the torque detecting voltage is corrected by the temperature detected by the temperature detecting means.
The temperature change due to thermal expansion or the like of the housing of the torque sensor affects the torque detection voltage can be removed by correcting the torque detection voltage based on the detected temperature using the temperature detection means. it can.

The neutral torque detection voltage Vt that is not biased to either the right steering torque (right torsion torque) or the left steering torque (left torsion torque) is referred to as a neutral point voltage. the voltage V 0 becomes a neutral point voltage.

If left steering torque is increased also, the second voltage V 2 decreases contrary to the above, the first voltage V 1 is increased (see FIG. 3 (1)).

The steering torque to the left and right can be detected from the torque detection voltage Vt based on the slope line of the torque detection voltage Vt shown in the graph of FIG.

The temperature characteristic of the temperature detection voltage Vs that is the output of the adder 47 is measured in advance.
FIG. 4 shows the result of measuring the temperature detection voltage Vs by changing the temperature when the left and right steering is in the neutral state.
Based on the temperature characteristic result, the corresponding temperature can be obtained from the temperature detection voltage Vs, and this temperature characteristic is stored in the memory of the

FIG. 5 shows the temperature characteristics of the torque detection voltage Vt 0 in the neutral state.
The normal voltage in the neutral state of the torque detection voltage Vt is a constant value at the bias voltage V 0 , but shows a temperature characteristic curve (substantially straight line) that is inclined due to the temperature and is inclined.

Based on this corrected torque detection voltage Vt + ΔV, the actual steering torque is detected based on FIG.

The above is a case where there is no influence due to variations in parts and assembly. In fact, there is a difference in temperature characteristics in FIG.
Therefore, the ideal temperature characteristic of the torque sensor with little mechanical variation corresponding to the reference temperature Tf and the temperature characteristic of the torque detection voltage in the neutral state is stored in the memory 31 of the
