【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前述の特許文献1あるいは特許文献2によって知られるような建設用リフトにあっては、搬器フレームの前側に資材等を搭載する荷台が設けられていて、その前面と左右両サイドとに手摺あるいはガードが着脱可能もしくは起倒可能に取付けられている。しかし、一般にその荷台床の寸法は比較的小さく、周囲に設けられる手摺あるいはガードは、搭載物を荷台上から外部に落下しないように保護するものであるが、使用される作業現場の状況に応じて場合によっては荷台を拡張して使用できるようにすることもある関係上、手摺などの構造を強固なものとすることに無理がある。
