【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した従来の電鋳母型を用いた転写方法は、剥離層としての酸化物層3の形成方法が、約20℃の洗浄水で洗浄し、乾燥することによって、下地金属層2を酸化させて、下地金属層2の上面に酸化物層3を設けるだけであるため、酸化物層3の厚みが約10Å程度のものしか得られない。この結果、転写金属5を転写対象物6に転写することを繰り返すと、容易に酸化物層3が無くなるため、転写金属5が不安定となる課題を有していた。

本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するもので、転写金属の安定性を向上させることができ、且つ特別な設備や装置を必要とせず、さらに人体へ害を与えることがない電鋳母型を用いた転写方法を提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明の電鋳母型を用いた転写方法は、基板と、この基板の表面に電気めっき法で形成された下地金属層と、この下地金属層を酸化させて得られた酸化物層とを有する電鋳母型を形成する工程と、前記酸化物層の上面の一部に転写金属が構成されるように絶縁膜を形成する工程と、前記絶縁膜が設けられていない前記酸化物層の上面に前記転写金属を形成する工程と、前記転写金属を前記転写対象物に転写することにより金属パターンを形成する工程とを備え、前記電鋳母型を形成する工程において、前記下地金属層を形成した直後、水洗前に湯洗を行うことによって前記下地金属層を酸化させるようにしたもので、この転写方法によれば、転写金属の安定性を向上させることができ、且つ特別な設備や装置を必要とせず、さらに人体へ害を与えることがないという優れた効果が得られるものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の請求項1に記載の発明は、基板と、この基板の表面に電気めっき法で形成され た下地金属層と、この下地金属層を酸化させて得られた酸化物層とを有する電鋳母型を形成する工程と、前記酸化物層の上面の一部に転写金属が構成されるように絶縁膜を形成する工程と、前記絶縁膜が設けられていない前記酸化物層の上面に前記転写金属を形成する工程と、前記転写金属を前記転写対象物に転写することにより金属パターンを形成する工程とを備え、前記電鋳母型を形成する工程において、前記下地金属層を形成した直後、水洗前に湯洗を行うことによって前記下地金属層を酸化させるようにしたもので、この転写方法によれば、下地金属層を電気めっき法で形成し、且つ下地金属層を形成した直後、水洗前に湯洗を行うことによって下地金属層の上面に剥離層としての酸化物層が形成されるようにしているため、下地金属層の酸化速度を速くでき、これにより、酸化物層の厚みを厚くすることができるため、転写金属を転写対象物に転写することを繰り返しても、容易に酸化物層が無くなることはなく、転写金属の安定性を向上させることができる。さらに、化学的処理、機械的処理を施すものではないため、有害物質を使用せずに済み、これにより、特別な廃液処理設備が必要となったり、人体へ害を与えたり、電解装置やUV処理装置などの特別な装置が必要となったりすることは無くなるため、特別な設備や装置を必要とせず、さらに人体へ害を与えることがないという作用効果を有するものである。

図6から明らかなように、80℃をピークに洗浄水の温度が高いほど酸化物層3の厚みが厚くなっている。また、洗浄水の温度が50℃を境として急速に酸化物層3の厚みが厚くなるため、湯洗は50℃以上で行うことが望ましい。そして洗浄水の温度が65℃〜85℃のときは特に酸化物層3の厚みが厚く、湯洗を65℃〜85℃で行うと非常に大きな効果が得られる。なお、湯洗に使用するのは水であるため、湯洗は100℃以下で行う必要がある。
