ところで、電気機器を防水型とする場合、この種の電気機器では、ハウジングの一端側に刃等の出力部を、他端側に充電器等との接続部を配置した形態となることから、ハウジングを両端が開口する筒状のものとし、一端側から電源部と駆動部とを一体化したモジュールを差し込み、その後、ハウジングの両端を閉じて防水型とするのが部品点数の点や組立の都合上、一般的である。
