Claims (23)
- 埋込み型聴覚人工器官の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品であって、
担体部材と、
上記担体部材の少なくとも一部に配置された複数の刺激部位と、
上記担体部材を通って上記担体部材の長手方向に延びる複数の信号伝送手段とを備え、
上記担体部材内の信号伝送手段の数が、上記刺激部位の数よりも少なく、
上記複数の刺激部位の各々が、上記担体部材の少なくとも一部において上記複数の信号伝送手段に沿って別々の位置に配置され、各刺激部位が、刺激電極要素と、対応する電子回路とを含み、上記対応する電子回路が、上記信号伝送手段によって上記刺激部位に送られた信号に応答して上記刺激電極要素によって出力される刺激を制御する埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。 - 上記聴覚人工器官は人工内耳装置である請求項1記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記各刺激電極要素は、上記担体部材の第1の側面に沿って接触面を露出させている請求項1記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記接触面同士は、上記担体部材に沿って等間隔で配置されている請求項3記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記信号伝送手段は、導電性の配線からなっている請求項1記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記装置は、少なくとも5つの信号伝送手段を備えている請求項1記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記5つの信号伝送手段は、クロック線、データ線、第1の刺激線、第2の刺激線、および共通の接地線からなっている請求項6記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記刺激電極要素とそれに対応する回路とが共通の基板上に実装されて集積回路を形成している請求項1記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記電子回路は、整流器、データ復号器、制御回路、および出力スイッチを備えている請求項8記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記整流器が供給される交流電源を整流することにより、前記刺激電極要素の直流電力が生成される請求項9記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記交流電力は、レシーバ・スティミュレータ回路から上記担体部材内を延びる2つの信号伝送手段で供給される請求項10記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記2つの信号伝送手段は、データ線とクロック線とからなっている請求項11記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記データ線および上記クロック線は、それぞれ対応する入力用パッドを用いて、上記担体部材の各刺激電極要素の対応する電子回路に容量結合されている請求項12記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記データ復号器は、レシーバ・スティミュレータ回路から送られたデータ信号と電力信号を復調し、データを抽出および復号化して上記刺激電極要素の刺激制御パラメータと遠隔計測制御パラメータを入手する請求項9記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記各電極用データ復号器は、上記刺激電極要素が電気刺激を出力する必要があるか否かを判定する請求項14記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記制御回路は、上記データ復号器によって復号化された刺激用データと遠隔計測用データに従って上記刺激電極要素の出力を設定できる請求項9記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記出力スイッチは、刺激用電流の選択された刺激電極要素への誘導および/または選択された刺激電極要素の遠隔計測回路への接続を行う請求項9記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記各出力スイッチは、さらに、フレーム間期間中の上記刺激電極要素の短絡を抑制する請求項17記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記各出力スイッチは、さらに、電圧および神経応答の遠隔計測中に上記刺激電極要素の出力をオープンにする請求項17記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記信号伝送手段は互いに電気絶縁されており、その電気絶縁材は、対応する回路の入力用パッドとの電気接続側で切除されている請求項7記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記信号伝送手段は、上記入力用パッドにギャップ溶接されている請求項20記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記入力用パッドは挿入押退けコネクタである請求項20記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
- 上記コネクタは、表面に複数の鋭利な櫛歯が形成されたくぼみを備えており、上記櫛歯は、上記くぼみ内に挿入された上記信号伝送手段の絶縁材に刺し入って上記信号伝送手段と電気接続するように構成されている請求項22記載の埋込み型組織刺激構成部品。
