Description

The present invention relates to a bad breath removing agent and an oral composition having an immediate and long-lasting deodorizing effect on the bad breath component methyl mercaptan emitted from the lungs through the oral cavity and blood.

In general, bad breath is eaten, tooth deposits in the oral cavity, exudates from periodontal pockets, saliva, tongue coating, periodontal diseases such as caries and oral hygiene such as oral bacteria, It is said that it occurs due to visceral diseases, smoking, foods that stay in the stomach, alcohol-related odors, and the like being released into the breath. The components of bad breath include ammonia, amines, sulfides, indole, skatole and the like, and are said to be mainly composed of methyl mercaptan and hydrogen sulfide, which are volatile sulfides.

In recent years, various foods and ingredients for removing bad breath have been proposed as consumers are becoming more clean. For example, as a food form, deodorant ingredients in chewing gum, candy, troches, and gelatin capsules that are intended to reduce the bad breath by inducing saliva by staying in the mouth for a long time or masking with a flavor in the food And capsules that are taken and dissolved in the stomach. As the deodorant component, tea extract, copper chlorophyll, champignon extract, fragrance, healthy stomach herbal component, flavonoid and the like are well known.

Unlike the mouthwash and dentifrice, the form of the food is widely used in that it can be easily deodorized regardless of location and time and without being noticed by others.

However, the deodorant component is disadvantageous in that, particularly in the case of viscoelastic foods such as chewing gum, it is easily adsorbed in the food dough, and the effect is not sufficiently exhibited. Also, in the case of forms other than viscoelastic foods, there are also disadvantages that it takes time until the effect is exhibited and that the deodorizing effect is short-lasting.

In addition, when eating garlic food, etc., volatile sulfide-based dietary halitosis is produced, but unlike other halitosis, this dietary property is strong volatile sulfide-based mainly after several hours even if it is deodorized immediately after eating. Bad breath recurs. Such recurrent bad breath is not sufficient for the deodorizing effect of the deodorizing component, and the sustainability of the deodorizing effect is required. In other words, flavonoids cannot be said to have a sufficient deodorizing effect on methyl mercaptan, and with respect to chlorophyll, it takes time to exert a deodorizing effect, both of which are inferior to immediate and sustained deodorizing effects. There was a problem.

Conventionally, oral compositions for preventing bad breath are known, which are composed of a water-soluble copper compound such as copper gluconate and copper citrate, a polyphosphate, and a bicarbonate. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).
However, it is difficult for the oral cavity composition for preventing bad breath of Patent Document 1 to prevent bad breath caused by methyl mercaptan.

Therefore, as a preventive agent for bad breath caused by methyl mercaptan, a bad breath preventive agent and a composition for oral cavity containing quinic acid and a deodorizing component are known, and according to these, the deodorizing effect is manifested early. However, it is known that this effect lasts (for example, see Patent Document 2).
However, the above agents and compositions have room for further improvement in the methyl mercaptan removal effect (immediate and sustained deodorizing effect).

The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and its object is to have an immediate and sustained deodorizing effect on methyl mercaptan which is a bad breath component emitted from the lungs through the oral cavity and blood. The object is to provide a bad breath remover and a composition for oral cavity.

The present invention achieves the above object with a bad breath removing agent characterized by containing minerals , yeasts and plant dry distillation components .

Preferably, the mineral is at least one selected from copper and zinc. More preferably, the mineral and yeast are contained in the state of mineral-containing yeast. Further, it is preferable that a deodorizing component is further contained, and it is more preferable that the deodorizing component is a plant dry distillation component.

Moreover, this invention achieves the said objective with the composition for oral cavity characterized by containing a mineral and yeast.

Preferably, the mineral is at least one selected from copper and zinc. The minerals are contained more than 0.0008 wt% for the composition total weight in the mouth, that are contained yeast least 0.01 wt% in the total weight oral composition.
More preferably, the mineral and yeast are contained in the state of mineral-containing yeast. And it is suitable for mineral content yeast to contain 0.01weight% or more in the whole oral cavity composition weight.
Further, it is preferable that a deodorizing component is further contained, and it is more preferable that the deodorizing component is a plant dry distillation component. The oral composition may be a viscoelastic food.

That is, the present inventor examined a bad breath removing agent and a composition for oral cavity having an immediate and long-lasting deodorizing effect on the bad breath component methyl mercaptan emitted from the lungs through the oral cavity and blood.
Therefore, attention was paid not only to methyl mercaptan generated in the oral cavity, but also methyl mercaptan generated by degrading proteins and the like by intestinal bacteria in the intestine. He then studied diligently on the idea that removing methyl mercaptan step by step at each site in the body could provide a powerful halitosis removal effect. As a result, they found that both methyl mercaptan generated in the oral cavity and intestine were removed by the combined use of mineral and yeast, and the present invention was achieved. In other words, regarding the mechanism of action by which the combination of minerals and yeast removes methyl mercaptan in the oral cavity, we presume that the cell wall on the surface of yeast cells changes the network structure by minerals and exhibits the removal effect of methyl mercaptan. ing. Regarding the mechanism of action for removing methyl mercaptan in the intestines, the yeast cells themselves serve as food for good enteric bacteria in the intestine, so it helps the good bacteria grow and suppresses the growth of bad bacteria. It is presumed that the removal of methyl mercaptan is exerted by suppressing the occurrence and at the same time the minerals originally present in the cell wall in yeast or intentionally taken in by ionization in the intestine.

According to the present invention, it has an immediate and continuous deodorizing effect on the bad breath component methyl mercaptan emitted from the lungs through the oral cavity and blood.

As the auxiliary material, saccharides, pigments, emulsifiers, stabilizers, acidulants, softeners and the like may be used in appropriate combination. For example, as an emulsifier, propylene glycol fatty acid ester, glycerin fatty acid ester, polyglycerin fatty acid ester and the like may be mentioned, and these may be used alone or in combination.

Next, the gum base is formed by kneading the components of the gum base by a conventional method. Subsequently, after adding a mineral, yeast, a deodorizing component, and an auxiliary material as needed to the obtained gum base, and mixing them, the chewing gum of the present invention is obtained by appropriately molding.

The chewing gum thus obtained has an immediate and long-lasting deodorizing effect on methyl mercaptan.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described based on examples.

<Examples 1-13, Comparative Examples 1-2>
A mouth odor remover was blended with the composition shown in Table 1, and a chewing gum as an oral composition was prepared as follows.
<Preparation of chewing gum>
The chewing gum composition shown in Table 1 was put into a chewing gum mixer and homogeneously mixed for 15 minutes, then rolled and cut to obtain 0.16 g of granular chewing gum. Sugar coating was applied thereto, and a sugar coating chewing gum having a size of 7 mm × 7 mm × 5 mm was obtained as a final product.
In addition, the measurement of mineral content is measured by the atomic absorption method.

Immediate and long-lasting deodorizing effect tests were performed on the chewing gum obtained as described above.
The test subjects were performed as follows by three adults who had completed dental treatment. First, food and drink were restricted 12 hours before measurement, 2.0 g of garlic powder encapsulated in a capsule was taken up with 100 ml of water, and then 1 with a garlic solution (0.5 g of garlic powder plus 10 ml of water). After rinsing the oral cavity for a minute, the garlic solution was swallowed and the chewing gum was eaten for 3 minutes, and the breath immediately after and 2 hours later was collected in a Tedlar bag.
The exhaled breath collected was judged according to the evaluation criteria of * 5 in Table 1 by smelling the smell of 10 expert panelists who had previously conducted sensory evaluation training. The results are also shown in Table 1.

From the results in Table 1, the chewing gums of the examples exhibited a deodorizing effect immediately after eating garlic and 2 hours later.
In contrast, the chewing gum of the comparative example could hardly obtain a deodorizing effect.
