【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、着脱自在のカートリッジを備えたカートリッジ付き文房具に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種のカートリッジ付き文房具としては、特許文献１及び図１１に記載されたものがある。この特許文献１に記載されたものは、修正テープ塗布具であって、図１１に示すように、その修正テープ塗布具が本体５０と、該本体５０から着脱可能となり使い捨てで交換可能な部品であるカートリッジ６０と、から構成されている。カートリッジ６０は、本体５０の後端に形成された後端開口５０ａから本体５０内へと挿入されており、本体５０の先端に形成された先端開口５０ｂからカートリッジ６０の使用に供される使用先端部６０ａが突出している。また、このカートリッジ６０の弾性突起６０ｂが、その後端開口５０ａの近傍に形成された係止孔５０ｃに係止する。このカートリッジ６０を本体５０から取り外すには、カートリッジ６０の両端に設けられた一対の弾性腕部６０ｃをそれぞれ互いに向かう合う方向に押し付けて、前記弾性突起６０ｂの係止孔５０ｃからの係止を外しつつ、本体５０から引っ張ることにより、行うことができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記公報に記載された構成のものは、カートリッジがキャップを備えていない構成となっている。カートリッジの使用先端部にキャップを被着する場合、上記公報に記載の構成のように、本体の後方からカートリッジを挿入する構成のものは、キャップを先端開口に挿通することが困難であり、不都合であるという問題がある。

一方、カートリッジを本体の先端開口から挿入する場合には、キャップを先端開口に挿通させる必要がなく、キャップを付けたままでカートリッジを本体に取り付けることが可能である。

しかしながら、そのようなキャップのあるカートリッジの場合、キャップを取り外す動作とカートリッジを本体から取り外す動作との区別をつけにくく、キャップを取り外して使用するつもりが、カートリッジ毎本体から取り外されてしまうおそれがあるという問題がある。

本発明は、かかる課題に鑑みなされたもので、その目的は、キャップを有するカートリッジにおいて、キャップの取り外しと、カートリッジの取り外しとを明確に区別することができるカートリッジ付き文房具を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明は、本体と、該本体に着脱自在のカートリッジとを有するカートリッジ付き文房具において、
カートリッジは、本体の先端開口から挿入可能となっており、且つ本体に対して係止可能となっており、カートリッジは本体に係止された状態で、本体から外方に露出する脱離ボタンを有し、カートリッジの使用先端部には、着脱自在にキャップが被着され、キャップは、カートリッジの使用先端部に被着した状態で前記脱離ボタンを覆うことを特徴とする。

カートリッジは本体の先端開口から挿入されるため、カートリッジの使用先端部にキャップを被着した状態で、カートリッジを本体に取り付けることができる。そして、取付後、キャップがカートリッジの使用先端部に被着されている状態では、キャップが脱離ボタンを覆っているために、脱離ボタンを操作することができず、従って、カートリッジを取り外すことはできない。キャップを取り外した後は、脱離ボタンが露出するために、脱離ボタンを操作してカートリッジと本体との係止を解除して、カートリッジを本体から取り外すことができる。このように、キャップの取り外しと、カートリッジの取り外しとを明確に区別することができる。

請求項２記載の発明は、請求項１記載のものにおいて、カートリッジには、本体に係止可能な弾性片部が形成されて、前記脱離ボタンは、弾性片部に設けられて、該弾性片部を揺動するためのものであることを特徴とする。脱離ボタンを操作して弾性片部を揺動することにより、カートリッジと本体との係止を解除することができる。

請求項３記載の発明は、請求項１記載のものにおいて、本体には、カートリッジに係止可能な弾性片部が形成されて、キャップは、カートリッジの使用先端部に被着した状態で該弾性片部を覆うことを特徴とする。キャップによって本体に形成された弾性片部が覆われて、弾性片部が変位することができないために、キャップが被着されている状態においては、カートリッジと本体との係止が解除されることはない。

請求項５記載の発明は、請求項１ないし４のいずれかに記載のものにおいて、前記キャップには、脱離ボタンを収容可能な溝が形成されており、該溝は、キャップの着脱方向に伸びることを特徴とする。キャップの溝に脱離ボタンが収容されるために、キャップの着脱の際に脱離ボタンを不用意に操作することがなく、キャップの取り外しと、カートリッジの取り外しとを明確に区別することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を用いて本発明の実施の形態を説明する。

図１は本発明の第１実施形態に係るカートリッジ付き文房具の全体図、図２はそのキャップを本体を分離した状態の図である。図において、カートリッジ付き文房具１０は筆記具であり、筆記具を構成する本体１２と、該本体１２に着脱自在のカートリッジ２０を有している。本体１２の一方の端部からは、本体１２内部に収納されたボールペンレフィール１４（図３参照）の使用（筆記）先端部１４ａが突出しており、本体１２の他方の端部からは、本体１２内に挿入されたカートリッジ２０の使用先端部２０ａが突出している。本体１２は、一つ以上の複数の部品から構成することが可能である。

尚、以下の説明において、カートリッジ２０を中心に説明するものとして、先方（前方）をカートリッジ２０の使用先端部２０ａが突出した側とし、後方をボールペンレフィール１４の使用先端部１４ａが突出した側とする。

この例の場合、カートリッジ２０は、修正テープ塗布具であるが、これに限るものではない。修正テープ塗布具であるカートリッジ２０は、公知のようにその内部に使用前のテープが巻回された供給リールと、使用済みテープを巻取る巻取リールと、これらのリールの間で回転をスリップ可能に伝達する伝達手段とを備えており、図５に示すように、これらを収容するケース２０ｂを備えている。また、カートリッジ２０の先端に使用先端部２０ａである転写ヘッドが備えられている。

図４に示すように、本体１２の先端側面部には、先端開口１２ａから伸びて互いに対向する一対の切欠１２ｂ、１２ｂが形成されており、一方の切欠１２ｂの近傍にある本体１２の側面部には、係止孔１２ｃが形成されている。また、これらの切欠１２ｂ、１２ｂ及び係止孔１２ｃが形成されている部分を包囲するようにして本体１２の側面部には、他の円周部分より凹んだ凹部または平坦部１２ｄが形成されている。

図５に示したように、カートリッジ２０のケース２０ｂの側面部には、本体１２に対する取付を行うための弾性片部２０ｃが形成されており、弾性片部２０ｃは、前記本体１２の一方の切欠１２ｂに嵌挿されて弾性片部２０ｃを揺動させるための脱離ボタン２０ｄと、前記本体１２の係止孔１２ｃに係止される係止突起２０ｅとを備える。脱離ボタン２０ｄの表面には操作を容易にするために凹凸が刻設されている。また、ケース２０ｂの側面部には、前記弾性片部２０ｃと反対側に、前記本体１２の他方の切欠１２ｂに嵌挿される第２脱離ボタン２０ｆが形成されており、第２脱離ボタン２０ｆの表面には脱離ボタン２０ｄと同様の凹凸が刻設されている。

カートリッジ２０の使用先端部２０ａには、非使用時に使用先端部２０ａを保護するためのキャップ２２が被着されている。キャップ２２は、キャップ本体２２ａと、キャップ本体２２ａの側面部に形成されて後方へと伸びる一対の耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄとを有する。キャップ本体２２ａは、使用先端部２０ａを包囲すると共に使用先端部２０ａに形成された環状溝に嵌合する。耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄの表面には、操作性を良好にするべく、適宜凹凸が形成されている。耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄの裏面には、前記第１脱離ボタン２０ｄ及び第２脱離ボタン２０ｆの幅寸法に対応した溝２２ｂ、２２ｂが形成されている（図３、図４参照）。溝２２ｂ、２２ｂは、キャップ２２の着脱方向に平行に伸びる。耳部２２ｄは、前記本体１２の凹部または平坦部１２ｄに嵌合し、耳部２２ｄの溝２２ｂ以外の裏面が凹部または平坦部１２ｄに接触する。

以上のように構成されるカートリッジ付き文房具１０において、カートリッジ２０を本体１２にセットする際には、カートリッジ２０にキャップ２２を被着した状態で行うことができる。即ち、キャップ２２の耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄの裏面に形成された溝２２ｂ、２２ｂに、前記カートリッジ２０の脱離ボタン２０ｄ、２０ｆが嵌挿されており、これにより、カートリッジ２０とキャップ２２との周方向の位置決めがなされている。また、カートリッジ２０の使用先端部２０ａに形成された環状溝に、キャップ２２のキャップ本体２２ａが嵌合しており、これによって、キャップ２２とカートリッジ２０は一体化されている。

キャップ２２及びカートリッジ２０を本体１２の先端開口１２ａに挿入すると、カートリッジ２０の弾性片部２０ｃが内方に撓み、その係止突起２０ｅが本体１２の係止孔１２ｃに係止され、同時に、脱離ボタン２０ｄ及び第２脱離ボタン２０ｆが切欠１２ｂ、１２ｂ内に嵌挿される。また、キャップ２２の耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄは本体１２の凹部または平坦部１２ｄ、１２ｄに嵌合する。

この状態で、脱離ボタン２０ｄ及び第２脱離ボタン２０ｆは、本体１２の切欠１２ｂ、１２ｂの周囲の凹部または平坦部１２ｄよりも若干、外径方向に突出しているが、キャップ２２の耳部２２ｄの溝２２ｂ内に収まっており、外部には露出していない。耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄによって脱離ボタン２０ｄ、第２脱離ボタン２０ｆが覆われており、さらに係止孔１２ｃ及び係止突起２０ｅが覆われており、見栄えを良好に保っている。また、耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄは、本体１２の凹部または平坦部１２ｄ、１２ｄに嵌合しており、これら耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄを内径方向に押圧することはできないため、耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄを押圧しても、脱離ボタン２０ｄが押圧されることはない。

次に、カートリッジ２０の先端使用部２０ａを使用するには、キャップ２２を引き抜いて、キャップ本体２２ａと使用先端部２０ａの環状溝との係合を外す。キャップ２２を引き抜く際には、キャップ２２の耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄを操作部としてこれらを掴んで引き抜くとよい。耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄを押圧しても、脱離ボタン２０ｄが押圧されることはなく、キャップ２２がカートリッジ２０の脱離ボタン２０ｄ及び第２脱離ボタン２０ｆを操作することはないため、カートリッジ２０が本体１２から取り外されることはない。こうして、カートリッジ２０の使用先端部２０ａが露出されて、使用に供することができる。このとき、キャップ２２は、ボールペンレフィール１４の使用先端部１４ａの側に被着しておくことができる（図３の仮想線）。

カートリッジ２０の内容物が消耗して、交換する必要が出た場合には、はじめにキャップ２２を取り外す。そして、本体１２から外方に露出される脱離ボタン２０ｄ及び第２脱離ボタン２０ｆを互いに接近する方向に押圧しつつ本体１２から引き抜くと、弾性片部２０ｃが撓み、係止突起２０ｅと係止孔１２ｃとの係止が外れるため、カートリッジ２０が本体１２から外れることとなる。

以上のようにこの実施形態においては、カートリッジ２０を取り付けるときには、キャップ２２を被着したままで行うことができる一方、カートリッジ２０の使用先端部２０ａを使用するためにキャップ２２を取り外すときには、誤ってカートリッジ２０が本体１２から取り外されることはなく、カートリッジ２０を取り外すときにはキャップ２２を取り外すことで、キャップ２２の取り外しと、カートリッジ２０の取り外しとを明確に区別することができる。

カートリッジ２０としては、同じ種類のものに限らず、図６に示すように、マーカーペンのような別のカートリッジ２０’及びこれに適合したキャップ２２’に交換することができる。

また、図４ないし図５に示したカートリッジ２０に設けられた弾性片部２０ｃは、その支点を脱離ボタン２０ｄよりも係止突起２０ｅの近傍に設けていたが、これに限るものではなく、図７に示すように、その支点を係止突起２０ｅよりも脱離ボタン２０ｄの近傍にすることにより、てこの原理を利用して、係止突起２０ｅの揺動ストロークを大きくとることができる。

次に、図８ないし図１０は本発明の第２実施形態に係るカートリッジ付き文房具１０−１の図である。

図において、本体１２−１にカートリッジ２０−１が着脱自在となっているが、この例では、カートリッジ２０−１には弾性片部が設けられておらず、その代わりに、本体１２−１の側面に切欠１２ｂからつながった一対のスリット１２ｅが形成されており、この一対のスリット１２ｅに挟まれた部分が弾性片部１２ｆとなっている。弾性片部１２ｆは、その内周面側に係止突起１２ｇを備えている。

そして、カートリッジ２０−１の側面部には、係止突起１２ｇに係止可能な係止突起２０ｇが形成されている。さらに、カートリッジ２０−１の側面部には、脱離ボタン２０ｄ、２０ｆが形成されており、それぞれ本体１２−１の先端開口１２ａから延びて互いに対向するよう形成された切欠１２ｂ、１２ｂに嵌挿されるようになっている。

カートリッジ２０−１の使用先端部２０ａを保護するべく、カートリッジ２０−１の使用先端部２０ａに被着されるキャップ２２−１は、キャップ本体２２ａと、キャップ本体２２ａの側面部に形成されて後方へと伸びる一対の耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄとを有する。キャップ本体２２ａは、使用先端部２０ａを包囲すると共に使用先端部２０ａに形成された環状溝に嵌合する。耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄの表面には、操作性を良好にするべく、適宜凹凸が形成されている。第１実施形態と同様に、耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄの裏面には、前記脱離ボタン２０ｄ及び第２脱離ボタン２０ｆの幅寸法に対応した溝２２ｂが形成されているとよい。また、耳部２２ｄは、本体１２の弾性片部１２ｆの外周面に形成された突起１２ｈに接触可能となっており、これらの間で摩擦力を発生すると共に本体１２−１の弾性片部１２ｆの外方への変位を阻止する役割をしている。

以上のように構成されるカートリッジ付き文房具１０−１においても、第１実施形態と同様に作用させることができ、カートリッジ２０−１を本体１２−１にセットする際には、カートリッジ２０−１にキャップ２２−１を被着した状態で行うことができる。即ち、キャップ２２−１の耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄの裏面に形成された溝２２ｂ、２２ｂに、前記カートリッジ２０−１の脱離ボタン２０ｄ、２０ｆが嵌挿されており、これにより、カートリッジ２０−１とキャップ２２−１との周方向の位置決めがなされている。また、カートリッジ２０−１の使用先端部２０ａに形成された環状溝に、キャップ２２−１のキャップ本体２２ａが嵌合しており、これによって、キャップ２２−１とカートリッジ２０−１は一体化されている。

キャップ２２−１及びカートリッジ２０−１を本体１２−１の先端開口１２ａに挿入すると、本体１２−１の弾性片部１２ｆが外方に撓み、その係止突起１２ｇがカートリッジ２０−１の係止突起２０ｇに係止され、同時に、脱離ボタン２０ｄ及び第２脱離ボタン２０ｆが切欠１２ｂ、１２ｂ内に嵌挿される。また、キャップ２２−１の耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄは本体１２−１の凹部または平坦部１２ｄ、１２ｄに嵌合する。また、耳部２２ｄは、本体１２−１の外周面に形成された突起１２ｈに接触する。

この状態で、耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄによって、脱離ボタン２０ｄ、第２脱離ボタン２０ｆが覆われており、さらに、弾性片部１２ｆ及び一対のスリット１２ｅが覆われており、見栄えを良好に保っている。

次に、カートリッジ２０−１の先端使用部２０ａを使用するには、キャップ２２−１を引き抜いて、キャップ本体２２ａと使用先端部２０ａの環状溝との係合を外す。キャップ２２−１を引き抜く際には、キャップ２２−１の耳部２２ｄ、２２ｄを操作部としてこれらを掴んで引き抜くとよい。ここで、キャップ２２−１とカートリッジ２０−１との係合力、即ち、キャップ本体２２ａと使用先端部２０ａの環状溝との係合力は、カートリッジ２０−１と本体１２−１との係合力、即ち、係止突起２０ｇと係止突起１２ｇとの係合力よりも小さくなるように設定されているとよい。また、キャップ２２−１の耳部２２ｄが弾性片部１２ｆの外側を覆っており、さらにその突起１２ｈに接触しており、弾性片部１２ｆの外方への変位を阻止するために、耳部２２ｄを押さえながらキャップ２２−１を引き抜くことにより、カートリッジ２０−１と本体１２−１との間の係止は解除されない。よって、キャップ２２−１を引き抜いても、カートリッジ２０−１が一緒に本体１２−１から引き抜かれることはない。こうして、カートリッジ２０−１の使用先端部２０ａが露出されて、使用に供することができる。

カートリッジ２０−１の内容物が消耗して、交換する必要が出た場合には、はじめにキャップ２２−１を取り外す。そして、本体１２−１から外方に露出される脱離ボタン２０ｄ及び第２脱離ボタン２０ｆを持ってカートリッジ２０−１を本体１２−１から引き抜くと、弾性片部１２ｆが外方へと撓み、係止突起１２ｇと係止突起２０ｇとの係止が外れるため、カートリッジ２０−１が本体１２−１から外れることとなる。

以上のようにこの実施形態においても、カートリッジ２０−１を取り付けるときには、キャップ２２−１を被着したままで行うことができる一方、カートリッジ２０−１の使用先端部２０ａを使用するためにキャップ２２−１を取り外すときには、誤ってカートリッジ２０−１が本体１２−１から取り外されることはなく、カートリッジ２０−１を取り外すときにはキャップ２２−１を取り外すことで、キャップ２２−１の取り外しと、カートリッジ２０−１の取り外しとを明確に区別することができる。

以上の第２実施形態では、弾性片部が本体に設けられており、カートリッジには弾性片部を設ける必要がないために、本体内に挿入されるカートリッジの実質的な容量を大きくとることができる、という優れた効果を有する。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明によれば、キャップがカートリッジの使用先端部に被着されている状態では、キャップが脱離ボタンを覆っているために、脱離ボタンを操作することができず、従って、カートリッジを取り外すことはできない。一方、キャップを取り外した後は、脱離ボタンが露出するために、脱離ボタンを操作してカートリッジと本体との係止を解除して、カートリッジを本体から取り外すことができ、こうして、キャップの取り外しと、カートリッジの取り外しとを明確に区別することができる。
