Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a digital camera that captures and records image information representing a subject image by photographing the subject.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Recently, digital cameras that can confirm the state of the subject's reflection on the spot where it was photographed and recorded are becoming widespread.
[0003]
The photographer can get the picture he wants by checking the subject's appearance each time and repeating the recording until he / she is satisfied, or by selecting a number after recording and confirming later. .
[0004]
As described above, a digital camera that can read image information and display an image obtained by shooting and recording is more convenient than a conventional camera that cannot be confirmed until the image of the subject is developed.
[0005]
However, even with such a convenient digital camera, when shooting and recording a subject whose name and outline are unknown, you can search for a guide board written about them or guidebooks as with conventional cameras. If you do not search for a description of the subject, you will not be able to obtain information about the subject. In some cases, the photographer will record the subject without knowing its name or outline (history). It is also possible.
[0006]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above circumstances, an object of the present invention is to provide a digital camera with a guide function that displays an image of information relating to a subject to be photographed and recorded.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a digital camera of the present invention provides:
In a digital camera that shoots a subject and obtains and records image information representing the subject image,
A position detector for detecting the geographical position of the digital camera;
An azimuth detector that detects the geographical azimuth of the direction in which the digital camera is directed;
An information storage unit for storing map information including object information, which is information on geographical objects that can be subjects of the camera;
Based on the position information and the direction information obtained by the position detection unit and the direction detection unit, object information relating to an object that can be the current subject in the camera is extracted from the map information stored in the information storage unit. An information extractor;
And an image display unit that displays the object information extracted by the information extraction unit.
[0008]
According to the above configuration, the digital camera of the present invention detects the geographical position of the digital camera and the geographical orientation of the direction in which the lens of the digital camera is facing, and can be a subject of the camera at that time. Object information relating to an object that is a target object (for example, a historical building or a famous landscape) is extracted and displayed as an image. For this reason, the photographer can obtain information on an object that can be a subject.
[0009]
Here, the image display unit displays an image by combining the subject image represented by the image information obtained by photographing the subject and the object information corresponding to the subject image extracted by the information extraction unit. Preferably there is.
[0010]
As described above, in the digital camera of the present invention, when the subject image and the object information extracted corresponding to the subject image are combined and displayed, the photographer can view the subject image while viewing the subject image. It is possible to know the corresponding object information, that is, what kind of object has been photographed.
[0011]
Furthermore, the digital camera of the present invention includes a recording unit that records image information obtained by photographing a subject and object information corresponding to the subject image represented by the image information on a recording medium. It is preferable.
[0012]
In the digital camera of the present invention, image information representing a subject image and object information extracted corresponding to the subject image are recorded in association with each other, so that a photograph displaying the object information, for example, FIG. As you can see, you can get a picture of Tokyo Tower with the letters “Tokyo Tower”.
[0013]
In addition, an image processing unit that processes image information obtained by photographing the subject according to object information corresponding to the subject image represented by the image information,
The recording unit may record image information processed by the image processing unit.
[0014]
In the digital camera of the present invention, when image information representing a subject image is processed according to object information corresponding to the subject image and recorded in a recording unit, for example, when a historical building is photographed, sepia color , Especially when taking a photo of a famous lake, you can get a photo that clearly shows the blueness of the lake surface. You can get it without.
[0015]
Further, an operator for instructing whether or not to perform processing according to the object information corresponding to the subject image represented by the image information on the image information obtained by photographing the subject,
An image processing unit that processes image information instructed to be processed by an operation of the operation element according to object information corresponding to a subject image represented by the image information;
The recording unit may record image information after being processed by the image processing unit or image information before being processed, depending on whether or not the operator has instructed to perform processing. Good.
[0016]
In this way, the photographer may be able to decide whether or not to process.
[0017]
In addition, an operator is provided for instructing whether or not a photograph obtained by applying processing according to object information corresponding to the subject image represented by the image information to the image information obtained by photographing the subject is desired,
In addition to the image information obtained by shooting the subject and the object information corresponding to the subject image represented by the image information, the recording unit further requests a processed photograph instructed by the operation of the operator. Instruction information indicating whether or not to do so may be recorded.
[0018]
Thus, instead of processing the image information itself, the photographer's intention as to whether or not the processed photograph is desired may be recorded separately. By doing so, it is possible to obtain a photograph according to the intention of the photographer without providing a function for processing image information in the digital camera of the present invention.
