この目的に対応して、この発明のプラスチック成形容器は上部に隣接する肩部と下部に隣接するヒール部との間のボトル胴部をそれぞれボトル中心線方向に沿って位置し、かつ互いに前記中心線周りに隣り合わせて配置されている4個のパネル面と隣り合う前記パネル面の間に位置する4個のコーナー面とで構成したプラスチック成形容器であって、前記胴部における前記中心線方向の中間部分に前記中心線に直交する面に沿って横ビードを形成しており、前記横ビードは前記パネル面を横断して前記パネル面の側縁に達している深さの一定な凹溝からなる横ビードからなり、かつ前記横ビードは前記コーナー面を横断していない構造をなしていて、前記パネル面における前記横ビードよりも前記中心線方向の上方部分及び下方部分には前記横ビードに平行に形成されていて前記パネル面の幅よりも長さが小さく全長にわたって一定の深さの、凹溝からなる他の横ビードからなるパネルビードを前記横ビードの近傍から肩部近傍及びヒール部近傍まで複数本を配置して形成してなり、かつ前記胴部の前記中心線を含み前記コーナー面の中央を通る断面における前記コーナー面の外面の形状は円弧であり、前記円弧の中心は前記中間部分の高さ位置よりもボトル底部寄りに位置することを特徴としている。

以下この発明の詳細を一実施例を示す図面について説明する。
