Description

The present invention relates to a silencer that is attached to a piece of a stringed instrument that vibrates a string by rubbing with a bow such as a violin or cello, and suppresses a sound generated from the stringed instrument.

One of the silencers includes a metal block (see Non-Patent Document 1) formed so as to be put on the top of the piece. As shown in FIGS. 13 and 201, this metal block has a shape like a thick comb, and receives the string between the teeth of the comb while adding the weight to the piece to suppress the vibration of the piece. It is configured as follows. Patent Document 1 discloses a metal clip silencer configured to clip a piece. Furthermore, Patent Document 2 describes a method of attaching a vibration suppression weight to a piece with a screw.

Conventionally, metal silencers are large and heavy, and only put on the top of the piece, or it is difficult to stably attach to the piece or instrument. The instrument may be accidentally dropped and damage the instrument, and the upper part of the silencer will come out on the string that is stretched over the piece when in use. There were also troubles such as hitting a bow or a hand, breaking a piece, or defeating the part. In addition, both the rubber silencer and the metal silencer have become obstacles to practice because the contact point 100 where the bow and the string come into contact with each other is difficult to see. When the clip-type silencer is attached or removed, the metal part may damage the instrument.
An object of the present invention is to provide a silencer 1 that solves the problems in the conventional silencer as described above, ensures safety during practice, and can practice comfortably.

In order to solve this problem, the invention according to claim 1 includes a musical instrument main body having a front plate and a piece for stretching a string raised on the front plate of the musical instrument main body. The present invention relates to a silencer that is attached to a bowed instrument to mute. One silencer member that can contact one surface of the piece and the other silencer member that can contact the other surface of the piece are configured to include the plate-like magnet and the plate. And a cushioning member (for example, a soft material such as rubber, silicone rubber, soft plastic, resin, etc.) that covers at least the peripheral edge (or the whole) of the magnet and absorbs vibration of the piece. It is. The other sound deadening member is (either the plate-like magnet or plate ferromagnetic, hereinafter the same) plate magnet or a plate-like ferromagnetic body and, at least of the plate-shaped magnet or a plate-like ferromagnetic body A buffer member for covering the periphery and absorbing the vibration of the piece, and the other muffler member is disposed on each side of the one muffler member via a connecting portion, and The connecting portion is configured to be bendable, so that the connecting portion is bent along the side edge of the piece while the one silencing member is in contact with the one surface of the piece . Any one or both of the other muffler members can be brought into contact with the surface for adjusting the muffler effect , and either of the one muffler member and the other muffler member when attached to a piece or the other or with both, a plate-shaped magnetic of said one silencing member And it is muted configured to be able to mounted on frame in the lower chord by a suction force acting between the plate-shaped magnet or a plate-like ferromagnetic member of the other of the sound deadening member.

According to the silencer according to the first aspect of the present invention, it is difficult to transmit the vibration of the string when played while suppressing the vibration of the piece by attaching it to the piece of the stringed musical instrument. As a result, the sound emitted from the entire instrument is suppressed (muted). That is, one silencing member and the other silencing member are respectively attached to both sides of the piece under the string. The silencing members are attached to each other by the action of the attractive force between the plate magnets and / or the plate ferromagnetic materials. Since it is attached by the action of adsorption force, it can be removed easily. Since the vibration is not suppressed by adding weight like a metal block or weight, but is suppressed by the sound absorbed by the buffer member, it is not necessary to make the silencer itself heavy. Therefore, even if a silencer is attached, the instrument itself is not heavy, so it does not hinder performance. Furthermore, since at least the peripheral edge of the plate-like magnet / plate-like ferromagnetic material is coated on the buffer member, even if the silencer is dropped, there is no risk of damaging the instrument body or the floor surface. In addition to these, the silencer for a bowed instrument is adapted to be attached to a piece, that is, under a string that is stretched. Therefore, the silencer for a bowed instrument does not protrude above the string, does not interfere with the performance, does not hit the bow or arm, and can prevent damage to the piece that would otherwise occur. . By having the connecting portion, one buffer member and the other buffer member can be integrated. That is, inconveniences such as losing only one can be solved. Furthermore, the one buffer member and the other buffer member integrated with each other can be attached to the piece without being separated by the bending action of the connecting portion. Incidentally, in a state contacting the one of the Mute member the one surface of the piece, one of the other side to the other of the silencing member of the frame by flexing the connecting portion along the Komano end one or Since the configuration is such that both can be brought into contact with each other, the silencing effect can be adjusted.

The invention according to claim 2 comprises the basic structure of the invention according to claim 1, and the buffer member of the one silencer member and the buffer member of the other silencer member are natural rubber or synthetic rubber, It is characterized by comprising a soft plastic.

According to the silencer according to the second aspect of the present invention, in addition to the function and effect of the first aspect of the invention, if the buffer member is constituted by the above-mentioned member, it is easy to obtain and can be manufactured at low cost.

(Usage example of silencer 1)
FIG. 7, FIG. 8, FIG. 9 are examples of use in which the present invention is attached to a stringed instrument. Hereinafter, examples of use of the silencer 1 of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. In FIG. 10, reference numeral 101 denotes a violin which is a typical example of a bowed instrument (see FIG. 7) . The violin 101 includes a musical instrument main body having a front plate 103 and a piece 109 for stretching a string 107 (see FIG. 11) standing on the front plate 103 of the musical instrument main body. The silencer 1 according to the present invention is an instrument for attaching to the piece 109 of the violin 101 to mute. Specifically, when the violin 101 is played, specifically, the string vibration when the string 107 is rubbed by the bow 111 is prevented from being transmitted to the instrument body . In addition, although the following description is performed on the assumption that the silencer 1 is attached to the violin, it is needless to say that the silencer 1 can be attached to a bowed instrument other than the violin, for example, a viola, a cello, a contrabass, or the like. .

(Structure of silencer)
The structure of the silencer 1 will be described with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4. The silencer 1 includes one silencer member 11, 11 that can contact one surface of a piece such as a violin and the other silencer member 21, 21 that can contact the other surface of the piece. The sound deadening members 11 and 11 each include a plate magnet 11 and a buffer member 13 that covers the entire plate magnet 11. On the other hand, each of the sound deadening members 21 and 21 includes a plate magnet 21 and a rubber buffer member 23 that covers the entire plate magnet 21. Each buffer member 13 is formed in a plate shape substantially similar to the plate magnet 11 and is made of natural or synthetic rubber in this embodiment. It is also possible to use a resin or the like. Moreover, although illustration is abbreviate | omitted, although the buffer members 13 and 23 coat | cover the whole plate-shaped magnets 11 and 21, it is sufficient if it covers at least the periphery. If the periphery is covered, even if the silencer 1 (plate magnets 11 and 21) is dropped on the musical instrument, for example, the cushioning members 13 and 23 serve as cushions and do not damage the musical instrument. Because. Note that one of the plate-like magnet 11 and the plate-like magnet 21 can be constituted by a plate-like ferromagnetic material. This is because the object of the present invention can be achieved if the other plate-like ferromagnetic material can be attracted by the attraction force of one plate-like magnet. In addition, the buffer members 13 and 23 can be comprised by the member which can absorb vibrations, such as rubber | gum, silicone rubber | gum, a soft plastic, resin, for example.

In FIG. 3, from left to right, between the silencing member 11 and the silencing member 21, between the silencing member 21 and the adjacent silencing member 21, and between the silencing member 21 and the silencing member 11, a connecting portion is provided. They are connected by 5a, 5b, 5c. The connecting portions 5a, 5b, and 5c are integrally formed of the same material as the buffer members 13 and 23, respectively, between the silencer member 11 and the silencer member 21, between the silencer member 21 and the silencer member 21, and Each of the silencer 21 and the silencer 11 is configured to be bendable. By making the bendable, as shown in FIG. 11, after the silencer members 21, 21 are brought into contact with one surface of the piece 109, the connecting parts 5 a, 5 c are bent to attach the silencer members 11, 11 to the piece 109. It is configured so that it can be folded back and brought into contact with the other surface side. In the silencer 1 attached in this way, the plate-like members 11 and 21 and the plate-like members 21 and 11 are attracted to each other with the piece 109 sandwiched by the adsorption force. As a result, the silencer 1 is attached to the piece. It is like that.

The buffer members 13 and 23 have at least two functions. The first function is a function to protect the main body of the violin (musical instrument) 101 from scratches, and the second function is to absorb the vibration of the piece 109 that is the attachment destination and cause the instrument main body (surface plate 103) to vibrate. It is a function to suppress the transmission of. That is, for example, with respect to the silencing member 1, the silencing member 1 has a plate-like magnet 11, but if the plate-like magnet 11 is in an exposed state, the violin 101 is made to collide with the violin 101 or the like. However, if the plate magnet 11 is covered with the buffer member 13, the violin 101 and the like can be effectively prevented from being damaged by the buffer effect. This is the first function described above. Further, if the buffer members 13 and 23 absorb the vibration of the piece 109, the vibration is not easily transmitted to the main body of the violin 101, that is, the sound is muted. This is the second function described above.

As described above, according to the silencer 1 described above, by attaching this to the piece 109 of the stringed instrument, it is difficult to transmit the vibration of the string when played while suppressing the vibration of the piece 109 to the instrument body. As a result, the sound emitted from the entire violin 101 is suppressed (muted). That is, one silencer member 1 and the other silencer member 1 are attached to both sides of the piece 109, respectively. The attachment of the sound deadening members 11 and 21 is performed by the action of the attraction force between the plate magnets 11, 21, 21 and 11. Since it is attached by the action of adsorption force, it can be removed easily. Since the vibration is not suppressed by adding weight like a metal block or a weight, but is suppressed by the sound absorbed by the buffer members 13, 13, 23, 23, the silencer 1 itself Does not need to be overly heavy. Therefore, even if the silencer 1 is attached, the musical instrument itself is not made heavy, so that performance is not hindered by weight. Furthermore, since the buffer members 13, 13, 23 and 23 are covered with the plate magnets 11, 21, 21, and 11, there is no possibility that the silencer 1 dropped will damage the instrument body or the floor surface. In addition to these, the silencer 1 is adapted to be attached to the piece 109, that is, under the string that is stretched. Therefore, since the silencer 1 does not protrude on the strings, it does not interfere with the performance, does not hit the bow or hand, and prevents damage to the piece 109 that would otherwise occur. it can.

As mentioned above, although one Embodiment was shown, the silencer 1 concerning this invention is not restricted to this.
(Modification 1 of this embodiment)
For example, instead of the neodymium magnets used for 11 and 21, ferrite magnets, magnetized metal iron, and the like can be used.
In the present embodiment, among the four silencer members in the state shown in FIG. 3, the silencer members on both sides are one silencer member, and the two silencer members sandwiched between the one silencer members are the other silencer members. Although it is a silencing member, for example, 11 and 11 out of 4 can be a silencing member using a strong neodymium magnet, and 21 and 21 can be a ferrite magnet or a magnetized metal.
(Modification 2 of this embodiment)

In the second modification, the sound deadening member shown in FIG. 5 is composed of a tubular cushioning member rubber, silicone rubber, soft plastic, resin tube, etc., and for example, four plates are included in the annular sound deadening member. It is also possible to insert a magnet and have the connecting portions 6a, 6b, 6c and the openings 6d, 6e so that they can be bent with a distance from each of the magnets 11, 11, 21 and 11, respectively.

The invention's effect

(B) It is customary to practice stringed instruments because they are bothered by the need to practice while taking care of the ears of their neighbors as well as their neighbors. There was a need for a silencer that could be practiced safely with good sound.
(B) Since the present invention causes the magnet to be attracted to the piece, the entire silencer 1 is covered with a cushioning member even if it touches the varnish portion of the musical instrument's front plate without worrying about dropping during practice. Therefore, the risk of damaging the instrument has been greatly reduced.
(C) The performer was released from the large silencer in front of his eyes, making it easier to see FIG. 10 and the contact point 100 and to practice.
(D) FIG. 12 is a compact and convenient to carry in a musical instrument case.
(E) Since it has the advantages of both metal and rubber, the sound quality has been greatly improved along with the silencing effect, making it fun to practice.
(G) When the mounting position of the present invention is moved to the upper, middle and lower positions of the piece, the silencing effect is large at the upper part and slightly smaller at the lower part, and the silencing effect is obtained by adsorbing only one side as shown in FIG. It is also possible to make adjustments.
