ところで、上記のようなゴム堰において、ゴム堰の起立または倒伏時に、ゴム堰内の流体を効率良く給入、排出させるために、例えば、図6に示すように、ゴム堰1の内壁面2にビニールパイプ等の通気用パイプ3を固定帯4により貼付けている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明は、上記目的を達成するため、ゴム堰を芯体補強層にゴム層をコートした複数の繊維補強ゴムシートから帯状の袋体に形成すると共に、該袋体内面のゴム層に前記給排口に連通する溝を直接形成したことを要旨とするものである。

前記溝を、ゴム堰の長手方向の一端から他端側に向かって少なくとも一本以上形成したり、またゴム堰の長手方向及び周方向に少なくとも一本以上形成すると共に、長手方向及び周方向の溝が交差して連通するように形成することも可能である。

このように、ゴム堰を芯体補強層にゴム層をコートした複数の繊維補強ゴムシートから帯状の袋体に形成すると共に、該袋体内面のゴム層に前記給排口に連通する溝を直接形成したことにより、ゴム堰の倒伏時には、封入されていた流体を完全に排出でき、外面ゴム層の表面には、突起が無く、常に平滑な面となるため、流下物等による局部的な摩耗、損傷を防止することが出来、ゴム堰の寿命を延ばすことが出来るものである。

前記ゴム堰10は、図3〜図5に示すように、芯体補強層11のそれぞれの面にゴム層12a,12bをコートした繊維補強ゴムシート13と、芯体補強層11の両面にゴム層12bをコートした複数枚の繊維補強ゴムシート14を積層させ、芯体補強層11の表面にコートしたゴム層12aは、ゴム層12bと加硫接着しないように異種ゴム(例えば、ゴム層12bの場合にはEPDM、ゴム層12aの場合にはSBR,NBR等)で構成してある。

この発明は、上記のようにゴム堰を芯体補強層にゴム層をコートした複数の繊維補強ゴムシートから帯状の袋体に形成すると共に、該袋体内面のゴム層に前記給排口に連通する溝を直接形成したので、ゴム堰の倒伏時に、封入されていた流体を短時間に、しかも完全に排出するとともに、ゴム堰表面を平滑面にしてゴム堰の耐久性及び寿命を延ばすことが出来る効果がある。
