Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an automobile door intrusion prevention structure.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a door intrusion prevention structure disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-86178 is known in order to prevent the door from entering the passenger compartment when a side collision occurs in an automobile.
[0003]
This is because the rear end portion of the door guard bar arranged in the front-rear direction on the rear side door is arranged so as to overlap with the panel material constituting the outer peripheral edge of the vehicle body opening in the vehicle width direction, and inside this panel material. A reinforcement having a lower ridge line is provided, and the lower ridge line is set to be positioned above the center line of the rear end portion of the door guard bar.
[0004]
In this conventional structure, when the rear side door receives a collision input from the side and deforms to the passenger compartment side at the time of a side collision of the automobile, the rear end portion of the door guard bar enters the lower side of the reinforcement and engages. It is intended to prevent the rear side door from further entering the passenger compartment.
[0005]
However, in the case of the conventional structure, in order to ensure the biting (locking action) of the rear end portion of the door guard bar due to reinforcement at the time of a side collision, the reinforcement is moved outward in the vehicle width direction. The protrusion amount needs to be increased, and for this purpose, the reinforcement must be deep drawn.
[0006]
As a result, normally, it is necessary to configure the reinforcement as a single body separately from the vehicle body reinforcement for the vehicle body stiffening disposed inside the panel material, which is disadvantageous in terms of cost. Not only that, but also the layout of the reinforcement is hindered.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, the present invention can reliably engage the door guard bar end portion at the time of a side collision with a simple structure, and can prevent the door from entering the passenger compartment. The present invention provides an automobile door intrusion prevention structure that can prevent door intrusion without changing the structure.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, the end portion of the door guard bar disposed in the front-rear direction in the door body is disposed so as to overlap with the panel material constituting the outer peripheral edge of the door opening of the vehicle body when the door is closed. In addition, in the structure in which the reinforcement is disposed at the position overlapping the end of the door guard bar in the vehicle width direction on the inner side of the panel material, on the side wall facing the end of the door guard bar of the reinforcement, When the door body receives a collision input from the side and is deformed to the passenger compartment side, a recess for receiving the end of the door guard bar is formed, and the weakness that promotes the deformation of the side wall due to the collision input in the recess. A portion is formed, and the fragile portion is formed as an opening .
[0009]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, when the door is deformed to the passenger compartment side due to a side collision, the end portion of the door guard bar is received by the recess of the reinforcement, and the reinforcement has the weakened portion provided in the recess by the collision input. Deformation is promoted at the starting point, the degree of deformation around the recess is increased, the rear end portion of the door guard bar and the recess are securely engaged, and the upward movement of the rear end portion of the door guard bar is restrained. Can be reliably prevented from entering the passenger compartment.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0011]
1 to 5 show an embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a rear side door and a rear vehicle body side opening (hereinafter simply referred to as a vehicle body opening) to which the rear side door is mounted.
[0012]
In these drawings, a rear side door 8 as a door body mounted on the vehicle body opening 2 of the vehicle body 1 is formed in a closed cross section with a door outer panel 8a and a door inner panel 8b, and the front end portion of the rear side door 8 is defined as a front end portion. The center pillar 5 is mounted so as to be openable and closable in the vehicle width direction by a door hinge (not shown).
[0013]
On the lower side of the rear side door 8, a door guard bar 9 is disposed in a slanting manner so as to descend rearward from the front end to the lower corner of the rear end.
[0014]
The door guard bar 9 has a bracket 10 bonded and fixed to the front and rear end portions thereof, and is bonded and fixed to the door inner panel 8b via the bracket 10.
[0015]
The rear end portion of the door guard bar 9 is a lower corner portion on the rear side of the vehicle body opening portion 2, and the lower front end portion of the rear fender 3, which is a panel material constituting the outer peripheral edge portion of the vehicle body opening portion 2. They are arranged to overlap in the direction.
[0016]
A reinforcement 7 is disposed on the inner side of the lower front end of the rear fender 3 so as to overlap the rear end of the door guard bar 9 in the vehicle width direction.
[0017]
In this embodiment, as the reinforcement 7, a sill reinforcement having a substantially U-shaped cross section disposed in the front-rear direction inside a side sill 6 having a closed cross-sectional structure extending in the front-rear direction on the floor side is effectively used. The rear end portion of the silly reinforcement 7 is arranged so as to overlap the rear end portion of the door guard bar 9 in the vehicle width direction.
[0018]
That is, the lower front end portion of the rear fender 3 is formed in a closed cross section with the lower front end portion of the rear wheel house inner 4, and is overlapped and joined to the rear end portion of the side sill 6. The sill reinforcement 7 is joined from the sill inner (not shown) to the lower front end of the rear wheel house inner 4, and the sill inner and the rear wheel house inner. A closed cross section is formed between the lower front end portion of 4.
[0019]
When the rear side door 8 receives a collision input from the side and is deformed to the vehicle compartment side on the side wall 7a facing the rear end of the door guard bar 9 at the rear end of the silly reinforcement 7, A recess 11 for receiving the rear end portion of the door guard bar 9 is embossed.
[0020]
The recess 11 is formed with an opening 12 as a fragile portion for accelerating deformation of the side wall 7a toward the passenger compartment by the collision input and increasing the recess of the recess 11.
[0021]
According to the structure of the above embodiment, when the rear side door 8 receives a collision input F from the side and deforms to the vehicle compartment side due to a side collision, the rear end portion of the door guard bar 9 becomes the rear fender 3 as shown in FIG. Is received by the recess 11 at the rear end of the silly reinforcement 7 with the deformation of the lower end of the front side.
[0022]
Then, since the opening 12 as the fragile portion is formed in the concave portion 11, the rear end portion of the sill reinforcement 7 is deformed from the formation portion of the opening 12 of the concave portion 11 by the collision input F. By being promoted, the recess of the recess 11 is increased.
[0023]
As a result, the rear end portion of the door guard bar 9 and the recess 11 are securely engaged, and the upward movement of the rear end portion of the door guard bar 9 is restrained. It is possible to reliably prevent the intrusion into.
[0024]
Here, in the present embodiment, as described above, the opening 12 is provided in a portion corresponding to the rear end portion of the door guard bar 9 of the recess 11 and this is used as a fragile portion, so that it is easy at the time of press molding the sill reinforce 7. As a matter of course, the deformation characteristics required by the shape and size of the opening 12 can be arbitrarily set.
[0025]
Moreover, since the upward movement of the rear end portion of the door guard bar 9 at the time of a side collision can be reliably restrained only by providing the recess 11 and the opening 12 on the side wall of the sill reinforcement 7 as described above, the reinforcement is conventional. Therefore, the sill reinforcement 7 disposed inside the side sill 6 as in the present embodiment can be effectively used without using a dedicated reinforcement separately molded separately. Thus, it is possible to obtain a cost advantage without significant structural change.
