BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is provided with a pair of clamps for holding the front end of the cloth product in the processing unit in order to load the cloth product such as a sheet into a processing apparatus such as a folding machine, and is held by the pair of clamps. The present invention relates to a method in which the center portion of the cloth product is aligned with the center of the input portion to make it unfolded.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a service in which cloth products collected from customers are washed, dried, ironed and folded before shipping, various sizes of cloth products are handled. Conventionally, when such a cloth product is put into a processing apparatus, if the cloth product is held by two clamps, it moves to a centering position with a preset width (initial widening width), and then spreads outward from the center. It stops when it is sensed (see, for example, JP-A-2002-113294).
[0003]
However, when deploying a cloth product with a width smaller than the preset width, a force is exerted to expand the cloth product so that it is larger than the actual width of the cloth product, so that the cloth product may be damaged or the clamp may be damaged. This will cause problems. Conversely, if the initial spread width is set in accordance with the minimum width of the fabric product, it takes time until the fabric product exceeding the size is expanded, resulting in a problem that the number of processed sheets decreases.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above-mentioned points, and the problem is that when a cloth product having different sizes can be developed in accordance with the size of each cloth product, It is to prevent problems such as breakage of the clamp and failure of the clamp. Another object of the present invention is to shorten the time required for the unfolding operation by reducing the clamp movement distance and to reduce the mechanical burden and improve the durability.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention arranges the first and second pair of clamps so as to be movable in the left-right direction toward one of the left and right sides of the input portion for the development of the cloth product. The fabric product is held at the tip by a pair of clamps, and the position where the fabric product is held is the origin,
A sensor that gradually expands the fabric product by moving the first clamp closer to the center of the feeding portion toward the center, and in the process , confirms the deployment state of the fabric product with a part of the fabric product that has been strained by the deployment. The sensor light is either blocked or the detector moved by the deployed fabric product is switched ,
The position from the origin of the first clamp and the origin of the first clamp and the second clamp at the time of detection by the sensor or detector, which are given based on the signal of the sensor or detector to detect the unfolded state of the fabric product. From the distance, calculate the length in the left-right direction of the fabric product,
Move the first clamp beyond the center of the input part by a distance corresponding to one-half of the left and right length of the cloth product, and move the cloth product and the second clamp accordingly. A measure is taken to match the center of the input section.
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The cloth product unfolding method according to the present invention is a method for unfolding a cloth product such as a sheet to be put into a processing apparatus such as a folding machine. The processing apparatus includes a pair of clamps that hold the front end portion of the cloth product at the input portion to the processing apparatus, and the center portion of the cloth product held by the pair of clamps is the center of the input portion. The following configuration is adopted in order to match with
[0007]
First, the pair of clamps are arranged close to either the left or right side of the input portion. The configuration of the pair of clamps is referred to as a first clamp and a second clamp for convenience. The first and second pair of clamps are arranged so as to be movable in the left-right direction, and the cloth product can be developed along with the movement. In a state in which the tip portion is held by these clamps, the fabric product is placed in a state of hanging down on either the left or right side of the feeding portion (FIGS. 1A, 2A, 3). a)).
[0008]
The pair of clamps can obtain the width of the cloth product by calculating the position from the origin when the cloth product is held in the left-right direction from the position where the cloth product is held. . The distance between the origins of the pair of clamps is known in advance and is preferably constant.
[0009]
If the inner one close to the center of the feeding portion is called a first clamp and the outer one is called a second clamp, the cloth product expansion work is started by moving the first clamp toward the center. . In the course of the expansion or as a result of the expansion, the development state of the fabric product is detected by a sensor in accordance with changes occurring in the fabric product. For example, the development can be detected by blocking the sensor light at a part of the fabric product that is tense by the development or switching the sensor switch.
[0010]
Based on the detection signal of the sensor, the position of the first clamp at that time is calculated. The detection signal of the sensor may directly indicate the position of the first clamp at that time (FIGS. 1 and 3), or may be provided as data for calculation (FIG. 2). In any case, if the position of the first clamp at the time of detection of the sensor is known, the interval at the origin of the first and second clamps is known, so the width of the cloth product can be easily determined.
[0011]
A half of the length is calculated from the input width of the fabric product, that is, the length in the left-right direction, and this is applied to the centering of the fabric product. That is, if the first clamp is moved beyond the center of the input portion by a distance corresponding to one half of the length in the left-right direction of the fabric product, and the movement of the first clamp is stopped at the point moved by the corresponding distance, the fabric product is obtained. The center portion of the can be aligned with the center of the input portion. The cloth product is expanded along with the movement of the first clamp at that time, and the second clamp is further entrained.
[0012]
When the fabric product is relatively small, the second clamp also moves with the development of the fabric product. However, when the fabric product is large, the amount of movement of the second clamp also decreases. Accordingly, the first clamp moves from the origin through the unfolded state detection position by the sensor and moves beyond the feeding portion, and the second clamp moves so as to be pulled through the cloth product by the first clamp. There is no extra movement, and the amount of each movement is also the minimum.

【The invention's effect】
Since the present invention is configured and operates as described above, when putting fabric products of different sizes in various sizes, it is possible to perform centering while detecting the size of each fabric product to set the fabric products in the expanded state. Since it is possible to reduce the external force applied to the fabric product before deployment and minimize the movement distance, the fabric product is protected from breakage, and it is not necessary to apply unnecessary external force to the clamp. There is an effect that the work can be proceeded more smoothly and quickly than in the past without waste.
