本発明は、排水桝やマンホールなどの地下構造物の立ち上がり管に点検、清掃用の蓋を設置する際に、立ち上がり管の上面開口部を開閉自在に閉塞するために地表面に設置される蓋の施工方法、およびその施工方法に用いる地下構造物の施工用閉塞具に関する。

【従来の技術】
一般に、排水桝やマンホールなど、地下構造物の立ち上がり管の上面開口部には、点検、清掃などのために上部に蓋体が設置され、通常、地下構造物の立ち上がり管を埋設施工する際には、立ち上がり管の上面開口部に蓋体を開閉自在に設けた枠体を設置した後、枠体と蓋体との上面と周辺の地表面とをコンクリートなどの舗装材料によって略同一面に仕上げ舗装する。

しかし、このような施工を行うときには、舗装材料が枠体や蓋体の上面にはみ出し、この状態で枠体や蓋体に付着した舗装材料が固化すると蓋体を開閉することができなくなるおそれがあるため、施工にあたっては舗装材料が枠体や蓋体の上面にはみ出すことがないように十分な注意を払う必要がある。そして、舗装材料が枠体や蓋体の上面にはみ出してしまった場合には、このはみ出した舗装材料を剥離して除去する作業が必要となるため、枠体や蓋体の周辺の地表面を舗装する作業は非常に手間がかかる問題があった。

このような問題点を解決するため、従来は、枠体および蓋体の上面に粘着剤を塗布した保護フィルムを貼着してからこの枠体および蓋体の周辺の地表面をコンクリートなどによって舗装し、この舗装作業が終了した後に前記保護フィルムを枠体および蓋体から剥離される方法が採られている。

しかし、枠体および蓋体の上面に保護フィルムを貼着すると、作業中に作業者が枠体や蓋体を踏み付けた場合、保護フィルムに塗布された粘着テープの粘着物が枠体や蓋体に付着し易く、枠体や蓋体を汚損するという問題があった。

そこで、枠体および蓋体を立ち上がり管の上面開口部に設置した状態で、枠体および蓋体の上面を被覆する円板状の被覆部と、この被覆部の周縁から垂直下方に突設され前記枠体と前記蓋体との嵌合面の間隙に挿入可能なスカート部とを有する被覆カバーが知られている(たとえば、特許文献1参照。)。

この従来の被覆カバーは、被覆カバーのスカート部を前記枠体と前記蓋体の隙間に挿入して枠体と蓋体との上面を被覆部で被覆することができるので、内周面にて蓋体を支持する枠体周辺の地表面を舗装する際に舗装材料が枠体や蓋体の上面にはみ出して枠体や蓋体に付着することを防止できる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、蓋体と枠体との嵌合面をテーパ状として、被覆カバーのスカート部を挿入する間隙が形成されないテーパ嵌合構造が多く、特に、下水用のマンホールや掃除口に使用される枠体および蓋体の場合には、このマンホールや掃除口に雨水が流入することを防ぐため、枠体および蓋体の嵌合面に水密性を保持するために、間隙が形成されていないことが多く、前記従来の被覆カバーのスカート部を枠体と蓋体の間隙に挿入することができないという問題を有する。

また、枠体と蓋体との嵌合面に間隙があり、前記従来の被覆カバーのスカート部をこの枠体と蓋体との嵌合面に挿入できたとしても、前記従来の被覆カバーを用いて枠体と蓋体との表面を被覆すると、被覆カバーの被覆部にある程度の厚みがあるため、枠体および蓋体の上面とこの枠体および蓋体の周辺の地表面とを同一面とするためには、この枠体の周縁部の地表面を前記被覆カバーの厚さ分だけ低く段差を設けた状態で舗装仕上げをしなければならないため、舗装作業の手間がかかる問題を有する。

本発明はこのような点に鑑みなされたもので、枠体および蓋体の周囲の地表面を枠体および蓋体の上面と同一面に容易に舗装することができる、地表面に設置される蓋の施工方法およびこの施工方法に用いる地下構造物の施工用閉塞具を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1記載の地表面に設置される蓋の施工方法は、地下構造物の立ち上がり管と枠体に略等しい外径を有しまたは外周面を上方に向かって拡径したテーパ面に形成し下部を立ち上がり管と枠体に等しい外径を有し、かつ前記立ち上がり管の上面開口縁に係止されこの立ち上がり管の上面開口部を閉塞する閉塞部を形成した施工用閉塞具の閉塞具本体を備え、前記立ち上がり管の上面開口部に前記閉塞具本体を仮止め支持し、この立ち上がり管の上面開口部を前記閉塞具本体で閉塞した状態で前記立ち上がり管を埋め戻して前記閉塞具本体の上面と同一面まで地表面を仕上げ、地表面の仕上げ後に前記閉塞具本体を引き抜いて蓋体を開閉自在に設けた枠体を前記立ち上がり管の上面開口部に取り付けるものである。
